- Winning with Ra feels like an ever increasingly difficult mountain to climb. Everyone Greek player and their Mum has got a way of making life really hard for Ra. Perhaps this god needs some innovation!?

I wonder why you rarely eat your chickens before the sheep, pigs or cows and even farms. One would think that it is better to delay eating the herdibles (to let them get a little juicier) and spending resources on farms for as long as possible. I can understand it with Ra because you have rain, but with other gods? I suppose you have done the math and i am wrong, but would be cool to hear you thoughts on this.
Not needed in build. Ra rushes farms bc they are optimal for him.
Maybe in resource scarcity , but again with ra and farms it likely won't happen.
Fine w other gods and civs tho depending on strategy. Funny enough only fu xi can get a berry/chicken bonus but also Egyptian because of empowerment.
Great game. The Wadjets are usually seen as a super weak myth unit, but in this case they were a bit like trolls and could have been used really well to defend the gold mine. Very cheap and very useful. Could have had around 3-4 of them. I think that may have helped out a lot. That one single wadjet did a lot of damage on its own.
I’ve found that sacrificing 3-4 vills for walls as eggy is always worth it.
The optimum with Ra is to get up fast and send camel raids on his economy to slow him down. Roc and Shifting Sands can be used for that. As he struggles, you pass him by to full Mythic upgrades on your camels, gg. If your opponent is faster, you may have to be prepared to make some barracks units to hold him off. Either way, your target is max upgrade camels (Camelry, not CAs), sent behind the lines on his villagers and eventually TCs. They’re too fast for him to catch, so you never fight army to army until you overpower him. Then catapults to finish him off. Army vs army is purely defensive, and strong buildings and towers with some cheap barracks units are the way to stay alive. Shifting sands can be used in a variety of ways. You can teleport a bunch of his villagers to the middle of your base and slaughter them, for example. All kinds of fun to be had.
But either way, your food situation was terrible. This map is the worst for that.

Your position was good and this was actually winnable - I think camels are a bait in tc wars, especially into max tox ,they just get melted and you're not raiding so what's the point in them. Not opposed to 2 migdols 1 goes 1-1 CA/Cam the other full CA. What I think is best is actually full CA with 1/2 ellies and seige towers to soak the tox damage and let your CA's DPS. This allows double market early and then you can just advance with towers/migdols witht he excess gold as well as mercs. If you're not pressuring his tc then you get split and he raids your gold one side and pushing your trade the other.
You suffered from your 2nd mig placement as well but forests were tricky.
You floated a ton of resources in heroic when you were spiking off 2 tcs, if you had some armoury ups and trade earlier and didn't blow 4k food on dead camels I think you hit mythic in a good spot and can start doing something.
I think you should have sent the Pharaoh one side and the priest the other, then walk them towards each other in a semicircle, instead of one going up and the other one to the right
No infantry, no elephant..... It's the reason for the lost. Camerly is the support unit of Egypt... Also add Petsucos for strong combination
Isis = elephants. Ra = camels.
You could have built a ton of wadjets with all that spare favour and wood

I think you use wrong strategy, you need mythic age with gor and he's infantry upgrades. Egyptian infantry in late game better than army from forth

Yeah, I think Ra players forget about rax units sometimes and always go for mass chariots
