I bought a thumper last year, never ridden off road, nevertheless I decided to step out of my comfort zone which is called 'tarmac', and decided to try off road travelling. I also set my eye to do this in Sweden, riding the TET. First thing I noticed riding a thumper is that it doesn't particular like highways, and it shouldn't, because it's not meant for it :) How did you cross the many miles from France to Sweden? Putting the PR7 on the highway crossing the distance? It can be done off course, but also seems exhausting to me due to vibrations.

      Usually thumpers don't like highways.
But you're not obligated to ride a the higher speed limit.
I drove around 6000km on highway with my PR7 during my trip.
I try to stay close to 110-120 km/h.
At that speed I know that the engine will not suffer.
      All depend of your bike.
And it's certainly not worst to drive 1h on highway with a constant speed that 30min stuck into the mud in full throttle trying to move.

@@LongRideZone I'm not going to, it only stresses out the engine, and agree on the mud example...where suffers the engine most! Thank you and have a wonderful sunday
