I was very satisfied with the remake and even appreciated the voice acting (I know some didn't like it, but it brought more authenticity to the game, in my opinion).
Kind of crazy they did *all this* yet it’s still the same general level layout

It is. I just bought it last week and sat down to play it a bit last night. It's a pretty hard game to be honest, but it's fun for sure.
Ducktales is nostalgia
Castle of Illusion was good to.
I couldn't tell the original from the remake. Graphics haven't changed that much in 30 years.
