It's pretty easy to know what most control decks tempo to in the current meta. Turn two kill or ramp, turn three kill/scry, turn 4 wipe. It's more complex than red deck for sure but with the current cards in play especially in yorion there isn't all that much "strategy" just kill everything.
@@clyh1984 *play ugin as a finisher/top end in a deck built around controlling the battlefield FTFY Red isn't a great control colour, as you'd no doubt know. Controlling red decks tend to end up looking a bit like control-leaning midrange; you don't have the same options as blue/white/black.

I have the opposite experience with Storm's Wrath. I've had so many opponents rage quit after I play a turn 4 Wrath after they dumped out their hand of Rogues or weenies.

I got nothing today, just that cgb should play enigmatic etrata. It works sometimes and it's fun to see them play another creature after exiling the first 2. It's a lose-lose situation for them, die to beatdown or die to hit counters. Remember how I have 2 elder gargs for even more beatdown.
I'm a poor paper player, i play a similar deck with Obosh and Feat into Sundering stroke for 14 dmg in one turn instead, it's fun and nobody expects it.
What happens if you tales end a zareth san? Ninjustsu used to have the ninja stay in the opponents hand when the ability was stifled. I thought I saw somewhere that zareth remains in its new zone or something. Seems like it would be fair to have it go to the graveyard but it's not the same as casting.... Any judges out there have an idea?

You have done Monoblack Yorion, you have done MonoRed Yorion. White and Blue are easy, you need MONOGREEN YORION (just take MonoG Food and add Yorion) And of course, the 12th deck.... Has to be 5 COLOR YORION

The blinking would be good for the mill, but I'm thinking everything else that's good about rogues would suffer from the 80 card requirement to run Yorion as companion.
I really like CGB's takes on most decks, but good lord do I dislike Standard. I know it's the format he enjoys most, and he shouldn't stop playing it because people on the internet said so, but I really wish he'd do more Historic stuff.

CGB is the only person I know that can make a red deck feel like a control deck.
It's an actual archetype, people try to make it a thing almost every format. It's just that it's rare that it's decent.

I made this deck about 2 weeks ago. It's the only mono red deck that I like as well. And it actually beats rogues.

2020 is the year I watched a CGB video every day. And really there is nothing else worth remembering.
