All cards can be good under the right circumstances. I happen to like Temples in slower decks that require large amounts of mana later in the game. 9 times out of 10 you will cycle a Triome only to draw another land.
@@futhamucka weren’t the temples reprinted in M21? Meaning they’ll be in the standard for exactly as long as the triomes? And I would also assume they’ll be reprinted again in one of the next 4 sets so they’re rotate-proof

Loved this one, and damn that last game was a heartbreaker. As somebody said above, I really admire the way you lose. I would have rage quit on that doom foretold for sure, but you ground it out until it was really over. Way to hang in there sir.
Everyone underestimates shadowspears ability to push through with trample. My mono green deck excels at giving barrens trample via shadowspear and would work with this quite well ;)

I honestly don’t think you hard cast Shark Typhoon enough. I feel like there have been a number of games this last two weeks that would have been much easier for you if the hard cast had happened
That last match is a stupendous example of why I dislike control is a playstyle so much. But I'm a casual player. When I sit down to *play* magic I'm sitting down to play magic. Control, as a style, specifically says I can't play magic.

I tried this using 4 Yidaro over Ironcrag Feat & 1 Spikefield. It was pretty fast. I almost wanted to go 4 Sails, but instead I'll sub out 4 Mountains for Passages.
This is 12 days of yormas but with shark typhoon. How about a week and a half of companions? Then we can see all the ways to use companions how Wizards wanted and didn't want us to play them. Like UW control Kaheera or GW Kaheera go-widey/vigilance. And enigmatic etrata with Keruga! pls im really trying

Also CGB: plays decks with temples and no triomes for two weeks
Temples are closed ser to rotating though, the Triomes will be around for a while yet and are more versatile.

It's really getting silly how many time CGB says the only thing that would get me is "X" card and then the opponent immediately plays that card.

Went on an absolute slide yesterday, from top 200 out of ranked. No matter what deck I played I was on the draw and just got blown out.
