Hello, Laura! I just found your channel a few days ago, and have been backtracking through your videos. You have certainly taken on a lot with the tiny garden, allotment and studying. You are an absolute delight; and a sparkling motivation for myself (68) and my husband (74). We’re starting our backyard garden this year & it’s an interesting project for both of us. Kind regards from Wyoming, USA. :0)
Hello 👋 all the way from USA, that's awesome! I am certainly busy but loving it! Thank you so much for the kind words 🤗 It is so exciting to hear that you're going to start your backyard project, enjoy it and I look forward to hearing how you get on!!
Don’t worry Laura, you will change your mind so many times! It just the way it is on an allotment! Oh dear Rooboo,.. our fur babies love to keep us busy… your poor bed! Your poor back sleeping on a sofa after a hard day at the plot! Your new wheelbarrow looks brilliant! I was glad to see your roof was an easy repair. You are working so hard! You are doing amazingly well! 😄👍🌸💕
After this season plays through, I can only imagine the changes I will want to make!!! both of our fur fur babies are the best, your Susanne (I hope I spelt that right!) is gorgeous and I love that she sits on the same chair each video! SO thrilled with the wheel barrow its my favourite 😍🥰xx
Sorry my accent, everyone thinks I say Susan! He is a boy and he is called Cézanne like the painter. My other cat that passed away was Renoir and our very first cat was Matisse. I studied fine art and I used to paint ( in oil was my favourite) until I had Fluffy and had to take on a job that brought a steady income in. Anyway, this is the reason why all the cats got some of my favourite painters’ names. I did say to Fluffy that in the future we might switch to famous musicians! 😘🌸💕
Roo made me laugh😅 it was as though she knew you were talking about her. Doing a bit by but you will soon see the difference, you can now. You look so chuffed when you're at the plot bless you. I've been sowing a few things but in honesty I can't wait to get at it properly I love being outside. Catch you later love, take care xx
Hey Carol, Roo is as mad as a hatter but she is such a gentle soul, I would be lost without her. I am really starting to feel it is taking a little bit of shape 🙌 I am so chipper when I am pottering, it is hard work but I get great enjoyment out of it, I am just a bit of a dork deep down😅🙈! I am going to start some salad this week I think and have another look in my seed box, like you, I can't wait to get into spring and summer!! Take care until next time xx
Our Allotment Heroine is coming with a new wheelbarrow to conquer the gardening challenges 💪 🙌 😀 ... A perfect movie start with this music from the get-go! 💚 Roo has so much energy, bouncing around you 😂hilariously knocking things over 🥰 but still probably safer to carry her with you 🫣 if that's what she gets up to at home 🤭 Good progress on the plot, and hopefully, the shed roof will stop leaking now.... The no dig beds were built perfectly by you.....the only thing for you to consider is how you're going to keep the grass down around them .....as the edges of the cardboard will start breaking down, the grass is only now starting to grow much stronger from March onwards, and it would be a shame for all your hard work to be covered with weeds moving in......usually the paths would be covered with cardboard and heavy layer of woodchip..... or weed membrane and woodchip combo......the cardboad option, if at all possible, to reduce the plastic use 💚🌿
🤣🥰I wanted this to be a fun update because it was only me pottering about, and until the weather warms up I guess you're stuck with dorky ol' me! Roo is the bestest but she hasn't quite understood the notion of an inground bed yet, she's learning to tame her paws! 🐾🤦🏻♀️ I really would love to keep grass paths on the plot, for two reasons, firstly for Roo...she loves to snack on it, as well as lay on it but, also I'd love to be able to walk around the plot with no shoes on in summer (woodchip hurts!!) I wonder will this be possible...🍀🤗🤞
@thetinygarden_ we love the dorky ol' you 🤣🤣💚🌿 and Roo 🐶 You can always get a robot lawnmower that buzzes around by itself and keeps the grass low, and Roo can be chasing that...😅 even though one swipe with Roos paws would send the robot flying across the allotment 💚🤣
Your doing such a great job and your no dig beds are perfect, you've done it correctly 👌l don't know who had this plot befor but what a dam mess they left it in....some people just dont think it through do they. That top soil look fantastic get what you can 👍 even if it kills your back lol.The pictures lve seen of your tiny garden at home is truly a sign of a good gardener so lm very much looking forward to seeing you turn this plot around WELL DONE 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Hey Joyce 👋 what a lovely comment, it made me giggle too! The no dig beds looked a bit sorry for themselves after all the bad weather so I gave them a little tidy yesterday! It's a total mess with so many things embedded in the ground, I will need a new back by the end of the year 🤣 Love my tiny garden, I just need to remember that I have space at the allotment and I don't need to squish the plants in 🙈 thank you for being here and following the journey 🥰🤗
Hi Laura You are making great progress on your lot and it's great to see you have some new tools 😊 and a barrow 😊 Roo Boo has a lot of energy that she's burning off while you work. She did look quite guilty when you talked about the water bottle on your bed 😅 . I do hope that all you needed was to pound those nails back in on your shed roof . Another great video Laura, you are a busy gal, what with your studies and your plot and tiny garden 😊😊😊😊😊
Thank you Julie, I am loving it! Thrilled with my wheel barrow 😁 the best thing ever, my back will thank me! Roo zooms around the plot but she hasn't understood the concept of inground beds yet, it's a learning process for her 😅 I am in my last semester now I am on the home straight now 🎓 🤞I don't officially finish until August/early September as I do have a disserstion 🫣 busy buts it's all good! Thank you for your continued support 🥰🤗xx
You're doing great Laura you have gone through loads especially with that Fence, oh and also that Frame whatever it was that kept springing up. As for the Cardboard you're doing it right putting it down first before the Compost/Soil goes on top, eventually with all the Rain 🌧 and Worms 🪱 that Cardboard will all be Mulch so no worries it'll be good for the beds. Mischief Roo causing a leak on the bed 😂 i suppose that's better than a real leak 😂 if i was there i would be too busy laughing at what she did 🤣 you just have to laugh yourself 🤣 then give her a big kiss and cuddle afterwards 😚🤗 Take Care. Barry (the Wirral, ENG)
The frame that nearly hit me in the head 🤣 so glad it's up! Excellent news on the bed, I think I might do a thicker layer on the new few beds, just to be sure! I was gob smacked when I got home, so funny 🤣 she was delighted to see me downstairs with her for the night happy out so she was! 😆😆
Just found your channel and will definitely subscribe, you're in the background on my desk as I catch up with work. Paying attention to your no dig beds, going to start some myself and couldn't afford to buy the wood. How exciting to see you start yours without the wooden frame. 🎉 At this stage watching your videos in order and admiring all your hard work. It's taking shape!
Hey Isabel 👋 so sorry it's taken me a minute to reply! I am usually quicker to respond I have been juggling university and work and took a few weeks off! Welcome to the channel!!! 🤗 Thank you for watching ♥️ I started the beds with no wood, I decided to keep grass path ways and I ended up buying the wood because I didn't have enough of a barrier between the grass and the bed but you can definitely do it without the wood if you opt for wood chip paths instead!
Hello Laura, great work, your videos are really inspiring, makes me want to get out on my plot and crack on! Great to see no dig plans coming to fruition 😊
Looks amazing Laura you are really making a huge difference every time you are there. I saw Stella make a hot bin with one of her composting containers by adding styrofoam inside 👍👍. I can understand the dangers that you could run into with Roo. Chevy is in a big pen when outside with me as she digs up the beds 😂😂. Can you get a cheap tarp as a temporary fix for the shed roof, if it still leaks? Ahh bring on summer 😂😂. Have a super week Laura and Roo, Ali ❄️🥶🇨🇦
Hey Ali, I saw her hot bin build last year!! 😍 definatrlt food for thought, the possibilities are just endless! Roo is so michevious, I didn't know Chevy was a digger!! 🤣🤣 they are the bestest girls 🙈🐾 tarp is not a bad shout you know, the felt looked in good condition I will have to see next week when I am up 🤞roll on summer 🌞💛 xx
Hi Laura 🤗 Your working so hard bless you… but it’s paying off and the plot is looking great. I love how your following your dad with the potatoes, it will mean so much more ❤️ I can’t believe what rooboo did with that water 😯😒 dogs are worse than kids 🤣 the thought that went into that just to punish you , the little monkey. I have a dog so very familiar with their antics 😆 Fingers crossed you fixed the roof 🤞🏻 Glad you treated yourself, you deserve it, great wheel barrow. Best wishes 🪴🌷🌱👩🌾
It's getting there bit by bit Katie! He always got great results on the spuds, I can't wait to plant them and get huge harvests!! 🙌 They certainly are, protesting because they don't get there own way 🤣 we wouldn't have it any other way we would, they are our best of friends 🥰🐾 My back will thank for me the wheelbarrow!! 😅 take care xx
Amazing - you are making so much progress! You def did the right thing with the no dig bed - have faith! You could try adding another bit of roofing felt over the top of where the two currently join- on a windy day the rain could be creeping under that flap. Xxx
Thank you so much 🤗 I felt the cardboard approach might be too good to be true 🙈I am prepared to hand weed the few that poke through later in the season! I did think that about the roof, in general it looked in good condition, I did wonder how the water was getting in there (as it slopes downward) that makes so much sense! 💖xx
@@Checheyigen1 thank you so much and welcome to the channel!! That would be Roo 🐾 she's a character and loves to be on camera! I hope you enjoy the videos! 🤗♥️
Your doing a brilliant job you realy your a grafter. And as for changing you mind on planes we all do but you'll decide. All the best and keep looking forward to your progress take care😊
Hey John! I can only imagine lots will change after a season growing at the plot too!! Thank you 🙌 I do great enjoyment out of it but the nettle are going to take some perseverance, I think 🙈😅
🤣🤣 She is such devil! Honestly you couldn't even make it up! I would be lost without her though! Thank you, I really hope to be able to plant a few things this spring 🥰
@@thetinygarden_ mine is such a diva! If we go off piste with her routine all hell breaks loose! Lol you’re heading the right way to have a plot bursting with produce 🥰 as for the no dig method works for most annual weeds but sometimes the pesky perennial ones can be persistent 🙂
haha they are so funny aren't they, Roo's is the same, starts moaning if it's 1 minute past her dinner time, and if she isn't given her treat promptly after finishing her dinner, the sighing starts 🤣 Looking forward to seeing how these beds turn out! 🤞
@@thetinygarden_ my boogaloo (Bonnie) has to have her after dinner mints too! 😂😂😂 and I’ve been for a Pooh treat! I ask you! Swear we’re just good dispensers. Your beds are going to be amazing!! Can’t wait to see them grow x
Looking really good , think the potato patch is the right move 👍, I have chicken wire and netting on my plot it’s so time consuming to remove . I made a hot composter for free , it been finished a week and just getting a bit of temperature in it now , check my blog I do for my family , it’s not like your channel just so they can see what I am doing up there . Good luck done loads in 7 days . Good content enjoying your journey .
Hey Anthony 👋 Thank you, can't wait to do the spuds!! It feels so good to get the chicken wire finally removed doesn't it, such a fiddly job! I saw a few people make the hot composters with Styrofoam, they look fab! Best of luck with your channel and allotment!! 🍀🙌
Feel free to change your mind again and again and again about garden layout. It needs to suite you and don't be afraid to change it in the future if it did not work out after all. Also, you did it right with the cardboard boxes, if you do more of these beds, you can consider putting down multiple layers of these cardboards, you can wet them town between layers. That way it is heavy and won't blow away. The double layers of cardboard will make sure the breakdown process is a bit slower and gives more time for weeds to die off (and if you overlap the layers over seems, you can make sure weeds don't find the cardboard cracks and slip through).
😅😅 I have a feeling changing my mind again and again might happen!! Oh that's a relief, I wasn't sure! I will definitely do a double layer on the next beds that go down! I tried my best to make sure I covered the seams, only time will tell!!! 🤞 thanks for sharing those no dig bed tips super helpful! 🤗
I also came to the comments just to say that changing your mind is a gardener's prerogative 😂 Your ideas will change over time and though you might at some stage go "nope, that garden bed isn't working for me in that spot" and get a bit down about how much work is going to be involved in moving structures around, but it's worth remembering that if it's not working for your goals then it's going to be well worth changing it!
My doggo menace is called Paule and I love him to pieces... I can only garden with raised beds because if it is outside, he pees on it! As for your bed: if Roo does it again, get out your haidryer and after 15-20 minutes on high/hot you should be good to go. 😉
I didn't even think about the hair dryer 🤣🤦🏻♀️! I popped on the central heating and bought the dyson heater upstairs to dry it out!! She's a total DIVA and owes me two days sleep 🫣🤦🏻♀️🤣I'll have the hair dryer ready next time!! x
Thank you Lee, I will keep a pile of nettles for sure, I love a free liquid fertlizer! With this this new growing space I'm going to need so much more!!!
I also grow comfrey blocking 14 and use for liquid fertiliser and is good as an activator for the compost too. Plus the bees love the flowers. I know you've got loads on your list but getting comfrey started now via cuttings will give you some bounty later in the summer but means it will be established for next year. Happy gardening.
Couldn't agree more, enjoying the hardwork and looking forward to fruitful harvests!! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave me a comment and for subscribing 🥰
You are making progress slowly and it now you have some no dig gardens getting setup. Roo looks like a handful but at least you know today you wont go home to a water bottle leaking on you bed. Take care and I enjoyed watching your video even though you were cold.👍👍💖💖🦘🦘😀😀Cheryl
She is a total diva, but I love her so much Cheryl, I'd be lost without her! Small and steady wins the race 🫣🤣Cannot wait for you to send me some of that lovely sunshine you've been having in Australia! 🙏🤞xx
So thrilled with the wheelbarrow Stella I couldn't face carrying more wet bags of manure 🥵 so glad to see the back of that fence, hopefully that is the last of the chicken wire 🤞

Hi Laura I’ve just found your channel and I’m in the same boat as you I was growing in raised beds at home and I got the choice of 5 plots as well 😂 My plot was a mess too. I’m doing no dig and started my beds the same as you. Love your channel
Hey Lisa 👋 thank you!! Oh that's so exciting I wish you the best of luck with your new plot! I think all plots are a mess when you first take them on 😆 it's definitely going to take a couple more months to get a hold of the space. Honestly I was sooo dubious about no dig to start with but having been through the process I would definitely recommend. Even my most challenging bed that has nettles underneath is easier to maintain, I do think I would dig the nettles out though next time though but the rest of the beds are great!
Be careful with the shed roof. Mine was letting in tons of water and when we took the old felt off the roof corner where all the water was coming in was completely rotten to the extent there was an ants nest in there. The rest of the roof was pretty solid though. Also you might find it helpful to check how water flows off the shed rood by pouring some water on and checking how it flows. It's probably flowing down off right were the leak is. Our shed sloped towards the back where the gutting is but because the shed is on a slope the water was coming off right at the corner and missing the guttering completely so I had to add an extra piece of guttering on the side of the shed to catch it. It may be possible for you to do a quick/temporary fix by lifting the felt and hammering in a small batten of wood at an angle (placed under the felt I mean) so that the rain water is redirected away from the corner where the leak is and towards gutting or where the felt is in better condition.
I plan to get some gutters for the shed, it also needs moving, the back corner has sunk into the soil 🙈 So a little work is needed to get it onto some sturdy free draining ground! I hope there are no ants, I did find a massive family of woodlice in the window frame! Thanks for the heads up, I think I am going to have to take a closer look under the felt to be sure 🫣🌧️
Hi Laura, when you dig out your nettles, put them into a drum of water and leave them there, ( stir every week or 2, it starts to stink hahaha ) nettle soup ( liquid feed ) its very good at adding Nitrogen for leafy greens, also if you can get a bit of comfrey to grow, once growing cut the stems down and put into a barrel of water, stir every couple of weeks and you have a very good liquid fertiliser, high in Potassium. If the roof continues to leak, cover it with a sheet of black plastic ( what people use to cover their beds, that will make the roof watertight.
Oh wow, I didn't know that about the comfrey being rich in potassium! I need to find a few containers for them! I love a free liquid feed 🙈🤣 I will keep the nettle weeds for sure, I am dredding digging them out 😅I was thinking that about the plastic tarp to bide me time 🤞🌧️
@@thetinygarden_Hello, just a reminder that you'll probably want a secure lid on that nettle "tea" as it brews; this sort of thing can become quite whiffy and your allotment neighbors might complain while you're waiting for it to finish maturing. Same for the comfrey. Your allotment's going to be just lovely once you've got it set up. Your shed roof. You'll want some "bedding" material I think; what we find here looks like tar and in fact is known as roofing tar or black tar (comes in one-gallon tins or cans to the best of my knowledge), but it's used to seal the nail holes and to bed the lower edges of the rolled roofing material. There has to be a lot of overlap of the rolled roofing to keep wind-driven rain (or snow) from getting under the edges and up to the wood above the top edge of the layer beneath. Much gardening love from Ohio, U.S. A. 😊💚💚💚😊
@@bhalliwell2191 here in the uk she can buy a gallon tin of " Black Jack ", its a bitumen paint, it will seal and nail holes, seal on the overlaps. Its £30 from Toolstation. I have a tin in my shed just in case of emergencies.👍
@@Jimmy.Plot.41.b Bitumen, eh? I confess I know virtually nothing about it but you've piqued my curiosity so now I'll have to find out about the roofer's tar or black tar and learn whether it contains bitumen, or not. Thanks for this! 😊💚😊
Oh I think I can see a flaw with how they felted the roof. I would have felted it runnining the other way, starting at the bottom, so the felt overlapped to protect the direction of water run off, making it impossible for water to seep through the join. I blooming loved the intro of this with you armed with the shiny new barrow! The beds look fab. I started mine the same way, albeit with frames as low raised beds. How cheeky is Roo? Or is that a menace? 🙈😂😂
Haha love my new barrow and so does my back!! That's so possitive to know, because yours look fab and inwas very dubious about this no dig approach! She is a deva for sure!!
Haha poor girl, she knew I was talking about her too 🤣 ! I went for a 100litre galvanised steel wheelbarrow 🛞 it has become so helpful for karting things around!
Put your compost heap in the least productive area. Mine is at the end of the plot in the shade of the the trees that belong to the railway. I would have very poor results if I tried to grow there, shadey and dry.
@@thetinygarden_ Probably poor light or very near trees etc that suck the moisture out of the soil. My least productive part of the plot is next to a railway. The railway is full of large oak trees that stop the sun from 1 or 2pm. in that area. The roots of the trees also suck water out of the ground. The canopy of the trees reduce the rain in that area. I am sure that you will work it out.
I was thinking of framing them, but that won't be until next season! I thought a frame would be the best idea, considering I want to keep grass paths between the rows! Lots of people have suggested thick wood chip though! Lots to consider!

Don’t do away with that metal cage! There are so many uses! Could be the top of a pumpkin arch, hold netting over a pond, roof for a tiny poly house….
I think I might be keeping the frame! I didn't think anything of it at first, but a tiny poly house could be perfect!! Thank you!
Could you not use that framework as a brassica cage? Looks really useful to me!
Well done for persevering!
I love the idea to reuse it! I think it could be a little short for a brassica cage but it would definitely cover a bed if I netted it 💭🤗

Roo is so michevious, I didn't know Chevy was a digger!! 🤣🤣 they are the bestest girls 🙈🐾 tarp is not a bad shout you know, the felt looked in good condition I will have to see next week when I am up 🤞roll on summer 🌞💛 xx
Good comment 👌
Hi Laura 🤗
Your working so hard bless you… but it’s paying off and the plot is looking great.
I love how your following your dad with the potatoes, it will mean so much more ❤️
I can’t believe what rooboo did with that water 😯😒 dogs are worse than kids 🤣 the thought that went into that just to punish you , the little monkey. I have a dog so very familiar with their antics 😆
Fingers crossed you fixed the roof 🤞🏻
Glad you treated yourself, you deserve it, great wheel barrow.
Best wishes

It's getting there bit by bit Katie! He always got great results on the spuds, I can't wait to plant them and get huge harvests!! 🙌
They certainly are, protesting because they don't get there own way 🤣 we wouldn't have it any other way we would, they are our best of friends 🥰🐾
My back will thank for me the wheelbarrow!!
💖xx
that metal you lifted, you can wrap it and make a grow tunnel. you could put wood around the base and put in on hinges over a raised bed
I really like that idea!! Looks like I will be holding on to the frame a little while longer 🙌
You're a very inspiring person. Love watching you at your allotment. Can't wait to see how your allotment will look over the next few month's.
Thank you Jackie that is such a lovely thing to say 🥰 I can't wait either I have so much space to plant!! So excited!! ☀️🌾
Ok I just discovered your videos this morning. I'm halfway through bingeing your allotment vids and I luv your adorable doggo
@@Checheyigen1 thank you so much and welcome to the channel!! That would be Roo 🐾 she's a character and loves to be on camera! I hope you enjoy the videos! 🤗♥️
Loads of progress made in such a short time 🎉🎉
Thank you Tracey 🙌 just a small update, it's hard to get out in the rain!! 🌧☔️
@thetinygarden_ honestly small steps makes more progress I find. You get less over whelmed and like omg can I do this lol Your doing brilliant 👏
Good to see how everything is going you are doing really well at clearing yr plot it's going to look amazing x
Thanks so much Corrine 🥰 I have a few seeds on the go I am going to do so much more in the next weeks ready for planting out!! 🤩x
Oh rooboo! You is naughty!! You’re kicking butt with that plot!! 🥰
😂😂😂 and I’ve been for a
Pooh treat! I ask you! Swear we’re just good dispensers. Your beds are going to be amazing!! Can’t wait to see them grow x
haha after dinner mints 🤣🤣xx
Your making such great progress Laura .Its looking a million times better already .Well done 🌹
Thank you Susie!! Still a good bit to clear but it's starting to take some shape at least!! 🙌🥰
I also came to the comments just to say that changing your mind is a gardener's prerogative 😂
Your ideas will change over time and though you might at some stage go "nope, that garden bed isn't working for me in that spot" and get a bit down about how much work is going to be involved in moving structures around, but it's worth remembering that if it's not working for your goals then it's going to be well worth changing it!
Thank you so much, haha here come the changes! 🙈🤣 I can only image what I will be thinking after one season on the plot!
@@thetinygarden_ the best thing about your no-dig garden beds is that they're easy to rearrange in future 😆
She's a total DIVA and owes me two days sleep 🫣🤦🏻♀️🤣I'll have the hair dryer ready next time!! x
Don't throw the nettles away. You can place it in a bucket and create your own liquid fertiliser in just a few weeks.
Loving your work.
Look up Charles Dowding no dig beds. He’s the best!
I have been watching a few of his really early on videos trying to take it all in! He is the best!! 🙌
🐝Thanks for the great video 🌻 dogs hehe never boring

Good for you getting an allotment, it'll be hard work to get it into shape but the rewards afterwards are worth it. Great channel, just subscribed
🙏🤞xx
woohoo new wheelbarrow i need one too. great work removing that net fence and wood
So thrilled with the wheelbarrow Stella I couldn't face carrying more wet bags of manure 🥵 so glad to see the back of that fence, hopefully that is the last of the chicken wire 🤞

Hi Laura I’ve just found your channel and I’m in the same boat as you I was growing in raised beds at home and I got the choice of 5 plots as well 😂
My plot was a mess too.
Thanks for the heads up, I think I am going to have to take a closer look under the felt to be sure 🫣🌧️
hi from new Zealand with you all the way

A new allotment! That is so exciting, it's lots of work but it's going to be so worth it! Thank you 🤗 it's starting to feel like it's taking shape!
Great video 😊
Thank you!! 🙌
I love a free liquid feed 🙈🤣 I will keep the nettle weeds for sure, I am dredding digging them out 😅I was thinking that about the plastic tarp to bide me time 🤞🌧️
@@thetinygarden_ as the saying goes Laura, slowly slowly catchy monkey. Just take your time and it will all come together for you .
Ooh feel for your pulling up that fence! I did the same thing yesterday. It was dug right in. Think I have dislocated every part of my body!😊😂
🤣🤣🤣 I so know how you feel!! It's tough going isn't it! There are moments when your questioning taking on the project to begin with! Rest up 💪🤣
@@thetinygarden_ it's certainly hard work, but it's worth it in the long run. Love my little plot. Enjoy! 😊
@@Greenmanure62 I love it too, roll on summer ☀️
@@thetinygarden_ she’s brilliant! You’ve done so much already. So excited for the season ahead
Poor supervisor getting in trouble. 😢. Lol. Allotment is really coming along. What type of wheelbarrow did you go with?
Haha poor girl, she knew I was talking about her too 🤣 ! I went for a 100litre galvanised steel wheelbarrow 🛞 it has become so helpful for karting things around!
Ooh, love the progress you’re making!
Thank you so much 🤗
Girl Power❤
Yes Conny!! Girl power 🙈💪💖
Put your compost heap in the least productive area. Mine is at the end of the plot in the shade of the the trees that belong to the railway. I would have very poor results if I tried to grow there, shadey and dry.
Least productive area is a great idea, thank you! 💡 I guess I will figure out where that space is as the season progresses!! 💭💭
You are doing a amazing job!! ❤️X
Thank you so much Louise!!! 🥰x
Looks great Laura. How do you find the time?
Thank you Trish, roll on G&T's on the plot with a BBQ! What is that saying...she bit of more than she could chew 🤣
Are you go to put a fame around the beds .
I was thinking of framing them, but that won't be until next season! I thought a frame would be the best idea, considering I want to keep grass paths between the rows! Lots of people have suggested thick wood chip though! Lots to consider!
