TIM!! I admit I do like almonds but the Godfather is a huge fave!! I do a 5:1 ratio so scotch stands out nicely without being too almonds and sweet! You might like it! The Brandy variation looks lovely!! Happy weekend my friend!! I hope u r super well!!

The 1rst Godfather is one of my " go-to " cocktails.. I've used single malt and blended malt Scotch and it's absolutely AMAZING! I've used a cask strength Bourbon as well and it's really good as well! Great job again David.. I can't wait to make the other 2!

You could also have done orange based cocktails 🍊....
as Coppola stategically placed oranges in the scenes that a character was in imminent danger 💥
ie Brando was shot by the fruit stand, had an orange peel in his mouth while playing with his grandson (died), also there were some xmas oranges on the table at the lake house before Fredo got whacked 🍊

Thanks David! I would probably use Monkey Shoulder 🐒🐒🐒 Blended Malt Scotch whisky for any cocktail that requires Scotch Whisky. I'm not saying that a Single Malt is no good, but the purpose is different. Blended whisky was made for cocktails and you don't break the bank 😂

Monkey Shoulder is a great blended whisky. Unfortunately, I did not have enough in the bottle to use it.

As much as I love Disaronno, I'll probably lower its proportion because I fear it will cover the taste of the scotch.

That would be an interesting combo. But I think you might need to lower the amount if you were to use crown.
