Frozen yogurt in the 80s?? Damn I didn’t realize the south was that far behind. I’m a gen z baby and went to school in southern Louisiana in the 2000s and early 2010s, and frozen yogurt was a huge craze.
I totally forgot about the cupcake obsession in the 10s lol I'm from MD and people were definitely taking the metro to DC for Georgetown cupcakes which I still have not tried myself 😅
@@bresimms1I used to work downtown during that time and it all started with a food truck that sold cupcakes. The owner opened up a store in Tysons and at National Harbor…they’re both closed now.
I like eating raw cookie dough but I would rather make a safe one to eat at home for cheap then buy expensive cookies that are raw but arent meant to be raw
Idk if there's a lot of locations but Cinnaholic is all vegan cinnamon rolls and cookies, they have ready to eat cookie dough! They taste AMAZING, you honestly can't tell it's vegan. I'm not even vegan lol they're just delicious.
Exactly, it looks so nasty, plus it's expensive too, yeahhh I'll pass not in this economy, lol. You can literally go to the grocery store and get some cookies for less than 10 bucks at most, and they taste much better.
Eh I only like their chocolate chip cookies. It’s not THEE best in the world, but it’s the only place around that sells warm, gooey chocolate chip cookies which is the way I like them.
If you use an excess of butter and an excess of sugar, your toppings are dense, and use high protein flours you can really make a cookie calorically dense
@@tatt_cat did you know one sandwich from the American sandwich store called Subway can be over 2,000 calories? with their most calorically dense bread clocking in at 1200 calories, you only need to add fatty and sugary ingredients in order to give it another 800 calories and make it the single thing you need in a day to get your daily caloric intake. calories are really easily manipulatable since they represent how much potential energy a dish contains. A dish created using lots of volatile ingredients, such as fats and sugars, is going to have a lot of potential to release energy. When powdered sugar is loaded into icing and baking, it works overtime to raise the calorie per cubic centimeter
@@tatt_cat Easy: butter and sugar. One tablespoon of butter is 100 calories. 8 grams of pure sugar is about 30 calories. Those are just two ingredients on their own in small amounts. Add the dough and toppings…and however much butter and sugar they use per gargantuan cookie…It adds up very quickly.
@@dizzylilthingfunny story. Subway had to change their bread recipe for the European market. Or atleast in som regions here. Anyway reason why? Because the amount of Sugar they use would make their bread classify as Cake. Yeah you are not eating bread. It's cake!!!!
"Let's stop stanning franchises,[brands] and corporations." Yes PLEASE. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 We went from corporations shouldn't be classified as "people" to "they're my besties and we love having funsies convos with them on social media." I really, really hate the memefying of everything as goals.
@@RaspBerryPies but but but guyyyysss, the movie was so totally feminist and empowering. Mattel deserves its comeback era, the poor thing. * cuts to people mass purchasing Barbies and barbie aesthetics for like a few months while Mattel sits back and cackles. * 😂
Didn't we have an entire saga of brands starting Twitter accounts to try to be "humanlike and relatable" and people trying to warn everybody not to fall for these antics? 😭
Why has society decided to lie to itself about these cookies? They're not even that good. They're not bad, but they're not the best cookie I've ever eaten. And they are absolutely not worth the price.
Businesses these days can only survive by selling a bunch of air. In Dutch we even have a saying called baked air. Well, this is a bunch of baked air like no other. Starbucks, golden donuts, Golden eclairs, Dunkin, mcdo macaroons. All terrible and have cheap horrible ingredients. Dear lord, make your own desserts, it is so easy. I bake my own cake, cookies, i make ice cream, tiramisu, rhubarb cake, fruit cake, pudding. Really not that hard.
Thankfully, the Crumbl store close to my boyfriend’s house isn’t packed with many people. They must be ripping people off. I want to try it, but I don’t want to waste my money. Thank God I never tried it.
The thing that people don’t get about brands like bath and body works, and crumbl cookies is that once you have tried a couple products you have tried them all because they all use a base formula. so, they all taste or smell the same.
While you do have a point about the cookies, the different scents from b&bw do smell distinctive. This however, does not give a person the excuse to over consume the product.
I wouldn't really say that about BBW. I know they reuse scents, but they definitely don't all smell the same. They're way too expensive, but they do smell good. And last a long long time and fill the whole room. I only buy when they're on sale cuz I refuse to pay almost 30 bucks a candle 😭
Omg thank u for saying this. I love perfume but I've never been a Bath & Body Works fan. Most of their perfumes smell the same with the exception of maybe a citrus or vanilla one being somewhat notable. It's 50% water, 30% chemicals and 20% scent, overall not being worth the price. They have a cute aesthetic but I buy my perfumes from blk beauty supply stores cause the scents r more mature and potent.
@@user-um8zt2ke8o yeah you have to go during the annual sale😂 I get everything for $4-5. Thankfully the older women in my life put me on to this, other than that BBW would never see a $ from me.
I’ve only ever visited Crumbl twice. EXTREMELY SWEET. So sweet I had to take couple cups of water to balance myself EACH BITE. I don’t know how these people are eating it up without feeling nauseous from the sweetness.
Absolutely. I do enjoy Crumbl every now and then but have never had a full cookie both due to the calorie count and the sweetness. We always cut them into eighths and then everyone gets to try them all in small amounts. This is with having a huge sweet tooth.
I felt that! I CANNOT eat a whole cookie in one sitting without feeling nauseous, I usually eat them in halves per day. And that's coming from someone who's an absolute sweet tooth
I love sweets but my body has a VERY low sugar tolerance, I can hardly eat a Chic-Fil-A cookie in one sitting let alone a cookie the size of a sandwich that’s packed with sugar. I feel nauseous just looking at those things, they just look so overwhelming sweet.
I work as a vet tech, and if you work at a vet clinic, it’s very common to have treats of some kind brought multiple times a week. Sometimes a grateful pet owner, sometimes management trying to justify low wages and long hours LOL. Anyways, I’ve had quite a bit of Crumbl Cookies at this point, and they are NOT worth all this.
It's the same way in the library w0rld. Patrons would bring us goodies all the time, often homemade. We never got Crumbl though and I'm not mad about it. Lol.
I was gifted a dozen Crumbl Cookies several years ago, before they were a household name. Out of the 12, 2 were OK. The other cookies were almost inedible. After I found out how much they cost, I was in disbelief. They were undercooked, loaded with sickeningly sweet frosting, falling apart, and too large. Toll House cookies burned in the oven taste better.
You are so right! Hubby brought home a half dozen because he saw them on line. I tried a bite of a couple of the most promising looking, didn’t like them at all and felt nauseous due to the sweetness. He took a bite of each and tossed them. He LOVES cookies, and he just couldn’t.
I’m thankful to be detached enough from “viral” stuff like this that I literally only heard the name in passing, and that was someone complaining about how expensive they are for tasting so mid.
While I am not saying support Crumbl (don't care, never tried them), you cannot speak for all local bakeries, lol. MANY of them do not give one crap about their ingredients. If they are struggling it would be very easy to believe they might use stuff past expiration date whereas a busy chain would sell out before something like that could happen. Just because something is local doesn't make it good. In GENERAL, chains have better hygiene practices and strict codes of conduct across the board than an unmonitored, 1 shop mom and pop.
@sugarplum2467 that's fair. I work for decades old mom and pop and it truly depends on the owners care for their bakery. We've gotten all a's on health inspection as far back as I can remember. But if someone's just in it for money I can see how things that shouldn't slip through the cracks do
It’s a giant cookie… not like the size of an Oreo 😅 The cookie is bigger than my hand…idk makes complete sense that it’s 800 calories and it’s dense as hell
The way crumbl treats its underage employees is nothing new. All fast food places (I’m inclined to not even say some because I’ve never seen anyone I know or myself work at a good faith restaurant) treat their teen employees like this because the teens don’t know any better and to stand up for themselves. It’s truly disgusting how we let entry level jobs treat their employees like subhuman.
Yes exactly! Fast food is such a stressful job at times too. The idea that it’s okay to pay those jobs poorly (at least in the US) because it’s “unskilled labor” is such bull. It’s a difficult job, being able to handle high stress, fast paced environment is a very valuable skill.
The girl at the beginning is just whiny and so are you. This is an actual job, not your mommy and daddy. You elected to take this job and and the girl said that she worked from 5 to 10:00. Most states do not require a job to give employees a break until they exceed 5 hours. She said she was allowed to have snacks in the back area but complained about it. They're not required to feed you. There's no way a minor can work over 40 hours a week because they are legally required to attend school.
I haven't had the chance to try one of those cookies; however, I bet half the influencers that ate those cookies got rid of it immediately when the camera stopped. Such lies--you know those women are not consuming those cookies on a regular--They just want us to buy them.
If they were consuming them they'd look like Lizzo 😂 it's alwsys for social media photos a bite or two then trash even Disney influencers do that with theme park food.
i tried a crumbl cookie without knowing about any of the social media hype - I just noticed several locations popping up in my area and was curious about this store that only sold cookies. They definitely look picture-perfect and they taste ok, but each cookie is so massive and rich and doughy that i felt kinda nauseous after just eating half of one. So all the controversy about the cookies being bad and unhealthy is no surprise, but I'm kinda shocked to hear about all the other baggage
I should start doing that. We have a coffee and baker / art gallery where I live. I can support a local business and at least they know to cook it first
I don't think we have Crumbl in my country, but I know of a local bakerystrawberry and honey farm) that I occasionally score their chocolate chip cookies. 6 extremely addicting cookies. I don't get them often but when we get some it's difficult to not eat the whole batch in 1 sitting. It's big and chunky too. Very devine
I feel like I was sleeping under a rock. Never heard about any of this. All good to know if I ever come across this. I will cry if you have a video about Insomnia Cookies.
Insomnia cookies are better than tiff treats but not as good as crumble . I have yet to check out dirty dough but if they put out a good flavor I'll come back for the update
I almost applied for an overnight baker position. Then I read their employee guidelines and quickly ran in the opposite direction. They said they provided a short shirt t shirt and that you could have NO tattoos showing with this short sleeve shirt. I was going to be working… overnight?…. therefore not working with customers. No one but my coworkers would see me. Why they cared about that was beyond me and made me realize that was not going to be the only issue.
I just don't get it, IT'S A COOKIE!! My cousin is deadass obsessed with these. She was paying $75 a week to ship them from the U.S. before they were available in Canada, now she buys a box for like $50 every TWO DAYS. Worst part is the high sugar content rotted her tooth and instead of getting her root canal...she used that money to keep buying cookies. Smfh.
I worked at Crumbl for 6 months and it’s a good job but not worth the pay. My store only payed 10 plus tips for mixers. I’ll never forget when someone asked why we’re all so skinny when we’re around these cookies and we straight up said we don’t eat them. We all thought they were too sweet.
What makes me NOT want to try them, they don't fully cook their cookies. Cookies contain flour and eggs. You can get sick from raw dough. So no, I won't be buying any cookies from them any time soon!
Speaking about the 'trial shift' I, as a qualified pharmacist in the UK, was offered one of these so called 'trial shifts' at a small community pharmacy I applied to work at. Nowhere on the job ad did it mention this. They expected me to come in and work for them for several hours FOR FREE to prove to them that I could... Be a pharmacist? I wasn't even newly qualified at the time! I'd already been working in pharmacy for almost 2 and a half years at that point. When I simply repeated it (for clarity) to the owner on the phone that they essentially wanted me to work without pay for a couple hours, she s told me it's an 'investment' and I should view it as an 'opportunity'. I honestly had to stop myself from laughing in her face and politely told her I would think about it. Then messaged her later that I'd accepted a job offer elsewhere. It honestly blew my mind. So insulting. Part of me wonders if there was an aspect of racism because I'm black. Why can't they just contact my references like a normal person? Nah, I'm sure this is what they do. They give people this 'trial shift' (unpaid labour) and then say "Sorry, you're not what we're looking for." 😂😂 What a joke. As if it'd be difficult for me to find another job in community pharmacy. I'm laughing at it but honestly a newly qualified pharmacist might fall into this trap so I am worried for them.
I did a free trial at a coffee shop near me and they expected me to do EVERYTHING a regular server does except make the espresso. Never got paid, never heard back
Yeah, it's becoming a thing everywhere. I recently lost my previous job, and got referred by a friend to teach a foreign language at a private school for young kids. I was hyped cause I figured I would get to go back to work right away. I met the owner, everything seemed great... until he told me I would be working, for free for a while (at least a few months) as a trial. They were a small business and couldn't afford to hire me full time without first having me build a classroom and 'prove myself'. It was baffling. Worse, dude railed about how the younger gen weren't team players cause they insist on working only for the hours they're paid for, and don't want to stay overtime to help without pay or notice. My brother in christ... you're complaining people dont want to work... for free?? It was baffling.
I used to work there, and my manager was awful. She would constantly belittle me and a friend of mine who also worked there, she would get mad at us for not being able to ball a dough fast enough, and got mad at me SPECIFICALLY for not being able to ball a really sticky dough fast enough by myself. I had a 15 minute break and I went to the Target next door to get some chicken nuggets cause I was hungry (the self checkout didn't give me my cash back so I got stuck), and I got back and she snapped at me for eating when I should be balling that stupid dough. I explained to her that I got stuck and she didn't care. I ate half of the chicken and wound up throwing the rest away. She also said to my face that being on the closing shift meant you had to stay until EVERYTHING was done. I was getting rides from my parents at the time as I didn't have my license and was also fresh out of high school (started in my senior year, ended when I graduated) and I wasn't going to walk home at night, wearing all black and I was a little scared to take public transit at night. I would not be able to get home if I stayed until 1 or 2 am. I only lasted there about 6 months and I hated every second of it.
6 months??? That’s quite a while and honestly sorry you had to experience that. I absolutely hate the audacity of management being so entitled to all your time working so they can mooch off you. Hopefully you got a better job than that and I wish you well!
The people who blindly follow every Trend can't be stopped until underconsumption or sustainability is the new trend. These people scare me, they seem to have no mind on their own. Of course there are people that are to be feared more, but these consumerists give me this strong dystopian nightmare vibe where everything is squeeky clean and everybody Acts like they are supehappy.
Thank you for posting this. There is a Crumbl franchise in a city near to where I live and I had been curious about it - NO MORE. I'm not paying $16+ for cookies that will give me diabetes...or heart disease...or salmonella...or all three! 🤢
i used to work there and they literally bake them at 285F degrees, so depending on the batch they would definitely be underbaked (edit i think it's actually 285F, crumbl affected my memory i guess. i just remember it being really low)
@@lulumolloy my genuine guess is they just aren’t baked for long enough to cook the inside since the temp is higher leaving them long enough would make the outside not as desirable, but that’s only a guess
@lulumolloy their cookies are much larger and thicker and often contain chunky toppings that affect the ability to cook fully once taken out of the oven to cool. Most items will continue to cook with residual heat. Additionally it's often young kids with their first job, so they aren't keen on when to keep the food in longer, checking temps. They also cook many more at a time, so the heat is distributed more over more items, as opposed to a home cook who usually does a dozen or 2 at a time. Not bashing on them, it's just stuff you learn to do over time. But these businesses like this don't, andaren't, training them properly. It's all telephone training (being trained by someone who was trained by someone else who was trained by someone who's not even there anymore). So, the quality suffers.
As a Starbucks barista watching this on psl launch day… I am terrified for my shift tonight if it’s anything like the past 3 years. People genuinely forget how to behave. I just recently found your channel and I am obsessed with your videos!! You are so brilliant and beautiful ❤
We should just support small businesses and local bakeries. The ones near me are LEAGUES ahead of this crap. I like gooey cookies but that cookie isn't just gooey ... it's undercooked.
"...corporate greed is not just an accumulation of wealth but it's a devaluation of the workforce" -such facts! I've never paid for crumbl cookies myself but have had them at work celebrations. They're certainly way too sweet and only suitable for sharing with 3 other ppl lol. The best one I've ever had was a peanut butter flavor that had a fraction of the sugars that their other cookies have. We definitely peeped the nutrition facts on the website and were in awe of the sugar levels. I'm not even surprised to hear that the labor practices are just as bad as the recipes and the prices Smh Thanks for another great video 💛
I had a friend who quit working at crumbl after a week because she literally couldn't handle how unorganized it was and all the unprofessionalism regarding things like work schedules, not having breaks, how unhealthy the cookies are, and everything just genuinely sucking for the workers.
I'm from Belgium and never heard of them. I don't like overly sweet stuff so they would definitely not be to my taste. It's sad that a big corporation in a civilised country can still underpay their workers. It's about time laws change in America and workers get basic right like decent pay, decent amount of days off, payed maternity (and paternity) leave for a few weeks/months... like the rest of the world gets.
As someone who is immunocompromised (I had a full liver transplant 9 months ago) I have to be very careful on things like raw food and the complaints about the raw cookies happened to me as well, I got very scared but I thankfully never got sick. That was my very first experience with them too 😢
You were spot on about being taken advantage of when you’re young and inexperienced just entering the workforce. Been there a few times. One job I had the psychopath boss refused me time off for my Grampa’s funeral!! And I had given them a good heads up. Needless to say, I didn’t work there for long. Of course there was a myriad of other problems, but in a nutshell, all the employees(it wasn’t just me) were way under appreciated, underpaid, overworked (the company refused to hire enough staff for all the responsibilities), basically treated like trash. I can now sniff out this crap a mile away, I know all the right questions to ask in an interview, and for the present, I’m working for myself, until I find a company who can appreciate the skills and hard work I have to offer.
Lol I work for Kroger and have gotten yelled at for helping elderly people. I asked oh so you want me to let the disabled Korean War veteran try to lift the heavy pack of water? in front of the store leader and then they shut the fvck up. I tell my customers to not apologize bc they feel bad asking for help since the store only cares about numbers. I don’t give a sh!t my store can drown. If someone could get hurt, I’m gonna help them. I hate my job but I love my customers so much I keep going back
to other ppl raised in or around Utah: did you also immediately get Mormon energy from Crumbl? there's just something about certain companies that scream "BYU college of business" to me
Was looking for this comment. They are Mormon. I got these gross cookies as a going away gift from work one year and I looked into them. There is a website you can look up if a company is Mormon. They own a lot more than you think.
I worked there when I was 17 got paid $10 an hour, had to stand up all day and basically do everything. My manager was 15 years old little girl, what a shit show it was.
I make my own cookies from scratch, I hada friend bring these over once and they were... not good.. The friend now prefers the ones I make anyway 😂 Lol! I'll take my own thanks! Lol!
Imagine subjecting your employees to that much bad treatment and stress just to sell unhealthy cookies to people who have over consumption problems they flaunt on social media. Every single part of this is stomach turning
The nutrition profile of those cookies is going to give me nightmares, lol. I mean, treat yourself for sure but good grief. Too much…and to be underbaked? No thank you.
i had an interview at crumbl a while ago so i can corroborate some of this! the owners watching through the cameras is true, probably depends on location/franchise but they straight up said they did that when i interviewed. they were also forward about being a "competitive" workplace, which is a huge red flag. also not talked about in the video, but at the franchise i interviewed at, all the employees had to join the landmark forums "self help" cult.
I didn’t know about crumbl getting really popular, and was thinking of visiting the one near me at some point. Hearing all this makes me want to go get cookies at the Mexican market instead ;) I forgot what they’re called but any place that sells sweetbread (conchas) usually has them! Cheap, large, chewy and yummy! Hearing about things like this are a great reminder to choose local and independent shops over large chains instead.
These viral trends are getting crazy. Seriously, people would line up for anything nowadays. Those cookies are not even good. Boss took some to office and I took one bite and had to spit it out. These cookies, the Stanley cups, Starbucks cups and drinks, etc are not worth the hype in my opinion.
Not to mention the turnover rate on these microtrends is crazy. The Stanley Cup and Trader Joe tote bag crazes barely lasted a year before people stopped giving a shit and I'd reckon Crumbl's hurtling towards that path fast. Just a lot of people with too much time and money on their hands indulging in overconsumption to stave boredom and get some sort of in-crowd feel of belonging.
Tried it once for my birthday. Didn’t even know it was that popular. Got it on Uber Eats. The Cookies were horrible but, the cake was amazing. They need to let those cookies go. 😂
my friends used to work there, and I only heard horror stories. One time they only got payed weeks after they were initially supposed to, leaving them without their pay checks. This is among many other stories, good thing they both don’t work there anymore
My body can’t process sugar in a normal way so I have to watch how much I eat in a day. Every time someone looks at one of these monstrosities and goes “it looks sooooo good” I have to bite my tongue to keep myself from going “no it looks like a stomach ache, and a painful blood sugar spike. 💀”
No breaks? Monitoring employees remotely? Sounds like a certain convenience store chain. 🙄All they care about is profit. At this point ppl are just mindlessly consuming GARBAGE.
How can it be legal for a minor to work until 1am?? 😳 in European countries there are strict laws and we have worker rights. Isn’t there something similar in the US?
Depends on where you are, but I’ve never heard of it being illegal for minors to work late shifts. At least, not in the US. I had high school classmates who worked late shifts at the movie theater.
each US state has different child labor laws. the laws differ in the ages they protect, the amount of hours worked, time of day allowed to work, etc. some states have more labor protections than others. for example, in Wisconsin, the state I work in, if a minor is under the age of 16, they cannot work past 7pm (and 3 hours per day) while school is in session or past 9pm (and more than 8 hours per day) during seasonal or holiday breaks. Kids that are 16-18 aren't protected at all and are subjected to the same labor laws that adults are. businesses in Wisconsin, especially fast food chains and franchises, are notorious for violating child labor laws. 15 year old kids flipping burgers until 10pm on a Thursday in October. it's not regulated. someone, a parent or a kid aware of their rights or a teacher, has to report it to the federal and/or state employment rights department. america will always value capital over protecting its citizens. nothing is sacred.
Same in Australia…kids under 16 are not allowed to work past 9pm Kids under 15 can’t work past 5pm and kids 16-18 not past midnight. and no school hours except on school holidays. If they dont want them to have breaks then they are only allowed to work a 3 hr shift because anything after that they MUST have proper paid breaks.
this is making me realize subway has alot of shady practices as well that got recently put in through a corporate change; remotely watching us from home, withholding tips, no breaks even though we worked 8-10 hour days, constantly allowing costumers and managers to harass certain employs [witch im now also realizing was a way of discrimination because it was harassment over a protected group], and not paying forced over time.
Crumbl has been around for years. As someone with a sweet tooth I was never enticed to walk in and buy a cookie and still am not. They dont look fresh or appetizing.
Same as with allll American fastfood chains. I live in Belgium but IF we want to eat fastfood, we drive to the Netherlands. The service here is so so bad. Also underage employees with no one teaching them things. Fries are always cold/taste like paper, drinks are always messed up and spilled over orders, items missing OR even taken a bite out of …. 😂 These companies don’t deserve their customers or employees!!!
I worked at a neighborhood pizza place in my late teens/early 20s that has been a favorite of the community for years. They get written about in the papers as a local gem and just the most perfect place. The truth is, I've seen them hire minors who are too young to work there, during hours they could never legally work, deny workmans comp for workplace injuries and leave their employees destitute (myself included), expect employees to work as a professional cleaning crew on top of their regular jobs for less money than they worked for or that a person can reasonably live on. They even once stayed open despite having no hot water for a week, which is a HORRIBLE health concern in terms of hand sanitizarion and dish washing. I quit after 5 years there because i legitimately didn't feel okay poisoning my own neighborhood community and was blacklisted from business in my neighborhood that knew the owners because i blew the whistle on their illegal practices.
Every time I comment on one of these crumbl cookie reviews and say "why are y'all reviewing these nasty ass cookies pretending like they're good???" They shadow ban the comment. That's how I know something's up.
I bought Crumbl cookies for the first time yesterday because my daughter was coming to dinner and she likes them. They were disgusting. Inedible . Flavorless. Each one tasted just like mushy flour and sugar. I will never buy another Crumbl cookie. It was a complete waste of money.
I don’t get it. The cookies are gross. Absurdly sweet. Overpriced. I’d argue they’re underbaked, there’s a difference between a soft chewy cookie and one that isn’t baked.

Butter.

Jewel osco cookies are the best, the purple bag ones are top tier
I agree. I've tried their cookies several times, and none of them particularly impressed me, especially not for the price. And they are WAY too sweet.
They have the same problem as every other cookie I've ever paid for. 100% white sugar and forgot the salt so it tastes boring and flat as hell.
Not really the chocolate chunk is definitely different from the cosmic cookie and the Olivia Rodrigo cookie.

If diabetes were represented by any piece of food, it would be this.
I felt that! I CANNOT eat a whole cookie in one sitting without feeling nauseous, I usually eat them in halves per day. And that's coming from someone who's an absolute sweet tooth
@@Attmay Crumbl cookies aren’t very enticing to me as a diabetic.
Lol.
The way people were going crazy for that Popeyes sandwich in 2019 was entirely too much! 🙄🙄🙄
It was crazy, I didn’t try it until the hype over it was done. And once I tried it , it was just a chicken sandwich 🤷🏽♀️
Someone got shot over it. Food is NEVER that serious!

Toll House cookies burned in the oven taste better.
My grandmother who died in the 90s made better cookies.

They give people this 'trial shift' (unpaid labour) and then say "Sorry, you're not what we're looking for." 😂😂
What a joke.

Why is this temp bad? Genuinely curious cause as a home baker cookies are usually like 325-350f

Don't be shy, let them know lmao
it’s a good day to be a home baker
Bring BACK Mrs. Field's cookies!!! ❤🍪😠😠😠😠
Now those were worth the price
Ok…15:10?!?!?! WTAF?! TWO of these monstrosities in one bit?! Influencers are so barf. 🤢
"The children yearn for the mines."
each US state has different child labor laws. the laws differ in the ages they protect, the amount of hours worked, time of day allowed to work, etc. some states have more labor protections than others.
for example, in Wisconsin, the state I work in, if a minor is under the age of 16, they cannot work past 7pm (and 3 hours per day) while school is in session or past 9pm (and more than 8 hours per day) during seasonal or holiday breaks.
If they dont want them to have breaks then they are only allowed to work a 3 hr shift because anything after that they MUST have proper paid breaks.
this is making me realize subway has alot of shady practices as well that got recently put in through a corporate change; remotely watching us from home, withholding tips, no breaks even though we worked 8-10 hour days, constantly allowing costumers and managers to harass certain employs [witch im now also realizing was a way of discrimination because it was harassment over a protected group], and not paying forced over time.
lol those cookies are a diabetic nightmare and are gross. You can’t eat more than maybe one bite before you are in sugar overload.
IKR I never even understood the hype like if these were in a grocery store without branding everyone would think it’s mid
The fact that ONE cookie could replace a meal. A snack, a desert, replacing a whole meal is gross to me 💀
support local bakeries fr not only do the treats taste better but they are usually made with better ingredients and cheaper
Once again a great video with important content. Thank you for all your hard work. ❤
i hate those cookies. they're horrible.
Overpriced. I’d argue they’re underbaked, there’s a difference between a soft chewy cookie and one that isn’t baked.
fr
I used to work at a Grocery store next door to a crumbl, they use Betty Crocker cake mix to make the cookie. They bought us out multiple times.
Then I definitely won’t try them… I hate Betty Crocker …too sweet and dense
