I was disappointed in Marshmallow Fireside, too. I melted a vanilla/tobacco wax melt to augment the scent and throw. Thanks for doing these “final burn” reviews!
@@JenniferHilburn adding tobacco to that fragrance sounds amazing. I’m glad (in a weird way) that it’s not just me experiencing light performance with some of these BBW scents.
Hey Katie, transitional weather sickness (including from children) is never fun. Get better. It's my birthday month and it's on the first day of Fall, last day of Virgo, and Willie McCovey Day in baseball lol. I'm burning BBW Eddie's Leather Jacket and really like the masculine leather fragrance. I picked up Scentworx Pumpkin Spice and a medium apothecary jar of Village Candle's Citrus & Sage, it will be my first one from this brand to burn during the Christmas season. So looking forward to burning Sweater Weather this Fall. Nice empties video. Sorry that your Marshmallow Fireside didn't perform well.
It’s too bad that you didn’t get to enjoy marshmallow fireside. It seems they are getting very weak for a lot of candles lately while simultaneously raising prices. 😢 it used to be a very solid candle.
@@cindye9996 yes, I had high hopes for it because it’s such a fan favorite. I know it’s in new packaging with the Fall 2 release, but I genuinely enjoy Kringle’s take on that scent (Warm & Toasty), so I bought a 3 wick of that when it was $12.95 a couple of weeks ago. Honestly, if I didn’t have my channel, I would probably not buy BBW for awhile. I’ve only had a couple of candles from them that have performed well the past couple of months. 😒
I agree with the current BBW 3 wicks. I usually burn Summer Boardwalk at the end of August. I finished up last year's version and then started this years. Wow, what a difference. I dont know if it is the pink wax, weaker oils,or the wicks, but it hardly had any throw. I haven't burned this year's Pumpkin Bonfire yet. I have a Marshmallow Fireside from last year to finish, throw is good. I wonder if they are cutting back on the quality of the favorites because they know people will buy them anyway. Im currently burning BBW Candy Apple Cauldron which has a low throw but a great lid. Im burning it with Kringle Red Delicious 2 wick and thank goodness, because that candle is solid.
@@mariannemeyers that’s an interesting theory about cutting back on the oils in the staple fragrances. It wouldn’t surprise me one bit! I ended up returning my Summer Boardwalk candles from this year because the wicks were AWFUL. Yes, that Red Delicious performed well for me last year too. 👏🏻
Wow I’m shocked on your experience with pumpkin bonfire. I’m actually burning my second one now and made sure I backed this yrs version for throw mainly. My first dudded out towards the end so I just threw it in the crock. . My second one I didn’t cut my wicks after the second 2-3 hr burn. No problem with pooling on both. All mine hv the same code and noticed yours is different ,even know I try to believe these diff batches are a myth.. so sorry about your experience as I’ve been there many times myself. Thank you for reviewing.
I was given Marshmallow Fireside as a gift last year, and I was disappointed in the strength and throw. Even when I placed it in a crock, I could barely smell it. How strong is the amber note in Kringle's Warm and Toasty? I love marshmallow and smoky scents. I'm not a fan of amber, however. The Daylights are not available in this scent yet.
@@jg9622 it’s definitely detectable, but I think it adds a nice sophistication to the fragrance so that it doesn’t become too smoky or artificially sweet. If you’re on the fence, definitely wait for the Daylight.
I love how HW candles burn so far down. I think BBW are the ones that there is a ton of wax left😑 Glad to hear you are on the mend🧡
@@MeetMsMarie yes, most of my HW candles burn quite far down. 👏🏻

@@katiesjoyfullife Thank you, happy birthday to you next month, my mother's is on 10-4.

I did have the same experience with the leaves candle in this same packaging. After cotton balling it I gave up half way through..
Im a huge bbw fan, and I've been so disappointed w the strength and throw lately of many candles. I've returned a couple. ❤
@@kathys4037 yes, I had great performers over the summer from them, but a lot of these Fall candles have not been meeting my expectations.
