the differences between the sharp side camera and soft focus frontal one are so distracting...
Policy genius, as upbeat and interesting as you've turn the OGBB into 🙃

You ain't no shit of coke. We here in cali used do eight balls in one hit. Well try to. We usually get to bout 2grams before we back up n dont cough on the line. Good times. 5years clean off coke
Also coke effects everyone differently. I have multiple medical problems brain wise so coke actually helped a bit but after long use I went crazier. 5 days 4 nights I stayed up on coke. I heard people calling my name talking to me who weren't there. I'd black out not remembering half the stuff I did. I once gave a gram coke to a seagull in Mariana bay in San leandro/Lorenzo area. Man that bird acted as if his legs weren't there. Man those were some times. Now with fent I dont even kick coke bags on ground. I look n watch from a distance who picks it up. Drugs effect everyone differently and the dosage is different. I never had a nose bleed, but god forbid my right hand goon. Every time he'd do a gram, boom nose bleed. Once in a while he would be too slow and ruin a batch coke cus it became bloody. I became responsible and told em nah home straw bumps now. I'd cut a straw load a quarter inch of it with coke. Put it in dudes nose and tell him lean back and sniff. I'll tell you after the first time that those guys only wanted straw bumps. Quicker and heavier during first few hits. After that its like novacaine in the nose. Shit all numb
It might just be me, but I love it when Sams just blatantly ignores Simon's video request.
Sam you're a legend and i love it 😂
No food or water for Sam in The Blazement for a week 😳
That wall of death video legit made me cry laughing. Sam is a true meme god.
Probably the reason the poor lad is chained to a radiator next to a MacBook and hundreds of empty bottles of everclear and boxes of magic spoon
This channel wouldn’t be the same without Sam and his skills!
That’s the best clip to add in while ignoring your employer!
"If you're welding and it sounds like bacon frying, you're doing it right. If it SMELLS like bacon frying, brother, you're on fire." --AvE
I found a long lost Cousin!
I was in two minds about whether ending on a live suicide was a good idea.
But it would have felt a bit odd to immediately follow that with a weather forecaster's trousers falling down or something.
If it causes Simon to become unhinged, it's always a good idea to include it.
Your brilliant Danny and yes if it messes with Simon's head fire away!
once again another belter of a script danny. brilliant as always
I had a feeling that the last one was going to be the one you wrote, the politician that killed himself live, or the jilted ex lover news reporter that killed the other news reporter live and I think the cameraman too (don't quote me on that last bit)
The script was excellent.
Danny's trolling skills have improved, usually he just get Simon slightly annoyed with a 15 minutes introduction but this was a masterpiece, I don't think I seen Simon this annoyed on this channel before and I seen it since it started.
Simon started to cut out the intros, that is why Danny is putting thoughts of death and dying into Simon's head.
@@alanhilder1883 I wonder what his next move will be? Things like this really only works once and Danny is pretty inventive.
FYI: as someone who is missing an ovary due to a cyst, specifically a teratoma, it does not reduce your chances of getting pregnant. Your other ovary just takes over and works double time. Just throwing that out there. Signed: 8 months pregnant in a heat wave 🥵
Edit to say: I am not referring to those with chronic cyst issues such as PCOS. That’s a completely different issue. I’m referring to losing one ovary with nothing wrong with the other.
Double time = greater chance of getting twins?
Dang 8 months in this heat God bless you and I loved it when my wife was pregnant

@@fuddermucceri1646 thank you! That was a story that I heard 15 years ago and I never had the guts to ask. 😶🌫️
Congratulations 🎊!
Yes Sam, quality again, Danny, well done for causing the Factboy to have a minor meltdown! Class, always fun to watch. I’m glad Simon isn’t bouncing his leg at this one! 😉🤣
All praise The Holy Trinity of Blaze! 🙏🏻
DANNY WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY????
Laughed way to hard during the last part
The Holy Trinity of Blaze should be a shirt
Yes, never ever split up that, Dynamic Duo of Sam and Danny. Always love it when Simon would have one his sensitive smooth-boi moments and Sam effs him up with, "HA!! GIRRRLEEEEE!!!".😂
I tried hard to get Sam to meme TF outa Simon wearing those dark colored Tees with his own likeness on them. It looked like Simon was paying tribute to Rene Angelil. 🤣
Sam, I believe the second camera should come with a banner of "Tangent Cam"
That works for Joe Scott, sure, but for Simon it would need to be something like "WARNING: DISTRACTED PRESENTER" Or "Now in ADHD resolution"
@@theprinceofinadequatelighting "ADHD resolution" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@theprinceofinadequatelighting "ADHD resolution" This dude saw the opportunity and took it, nice one!

And he is not slapping the script!
Agreed
Me too but I believe he's trying to streamline all of his channels to a similar style
In Danny’s defense, I’m not sure where I would have placed the suicide story. It’s hard to ignore it, since everyone would be mentioning it in the comments if you did. It can’t be the intro because it might scare people away, and if you don’t put it last then everything after is is going to seem mild and in bad taste. There is some irony in a story of a tv presenter committing suicide as a protest against exploitive news stories being part of a series of exploitive tv stories.
Thank you for saying that, as I'd never heard of it & was thinking "why would you even include that!", but yeah, I get it now...even if I didn't get it at the moment, n apparently live under a rock.
I doubt it was in protest. Wasn’t that what the song he man that was a nice shot was about or was that another anchor doing the same?
Hey man nice shot by filter.
@@naturefix290 That was about Bud Dwyer, who also shot himself on live tv. I actually remember the local news station aired the recording on the evening news, over the protests of at least one anchor. I was only a little kid, but remember the news saying something wasn't suitable for children, and my parents making me leave the room.
@@podpolia yep that’s right, my mistake
I was hoping to give this a sneaky watch on my lunch break. 2 seconds in and I see this'll have to be an at-home episode viewing
Danny is just a literal absolute mad man with that last story. Simon's reactions were hilarious 😂
6:18 Sam, the insubordination. Love it!
That clip was an absolute stroke of genius.
Give Sam a raise! I lost my mind at that clip
Simon, here is something to cover on the sequel to this, Budd Dwyer, January 22, 1987 Press Conference from Harrisburg, PA. I saw it as a 4 1/2 year old live on TV. That was regrettable as he commits suicide live on TV in one of the most shocking incidents ever on TV at the time.
I came down to the comments looking for this specifically. Yes, I remember Budd Dwyer and it was very sad. 😔
The White House press secretary that did it on national tv was a bit more extreme.
@James Armstrong I was 3 when I saw a Japanese politician stabbed in live tv on the six o’clock news. You remember.
@James Armstrong I remember it too, and I would have been just shy of 4. Though I think what I remember is the local station replaying it, rather than the live version.
And what makes it even worse, he was actually innocent.
I mean no disrespect, and I've loved brain blaze for over a year now, but I miss the format where Simon is reading from a tablet or paper. To me it has a more organic feel, like he's reading something in a newspaper and look up to go on tangents and discuss the content. Idk, the promt reading feels good for presentations, like the million edutainment channels Simon also has, but BB is a bit more laid back and casual. Much more a one man podcast, and less of a formal presentation. Just my 2 cents :)
BB will forever be my favorite Simon production
I was thinking the same thing
Yea, it's been fun but I'm unsubbing for a bit.
OGBB was a stellar distraction from life, and Simon turned it into any other show.
Will mss Danny's writing, but offline is more interesting than Simon lately.
Couldn't agree more
Paper! He would show teh pages, sometimes just intro pages lol. Fuck teh tablet!
I think a lot of people miss the old BB style, the tangents are still there sometimes but the energy is so much lower. Guessing with two little ones now plus everything else maybe it just got a little too draining. Either way the topics are still interesting, Danny is still one of my favorite Factboy writers of all time. Even if Simon seems to have starved him in the basement so that he's only capable of 2500 words per script these days. Kevin was good too, More Kevin! And of course the wonderful Memeology of Sam. Still entertaining, and maybe once in a while, if we are lucky, we will get an OGBB style episode with a 10 minute intro, with Simon free ranging the set, going on epic tangents while waving his paper script around, doing rim shots and wearing zebra head masks. And that would be extra special.
Holy fuck, Sam. That go kart clip broke me 😂😂
Holy carp, Simon now has TWO cameras! Anyone else shocked to see the wall and door right there?! I always figured the room continued on for at least 8-10’ further. My life is a lie!
He has a lot more cameras. If you would like to see them, just subscribe to his OnlyFans.
Background is green screened. Lol
@@terryarmbruster9719 No, not green screened, its his usual office.
The tangent cam really makes it feel like I'm sharing in Simon's gradual mental breakdown.
It looks like Danny is starting a rebellion. You better be on your guard, Simon. There just might be dungeon break soon.
LOVE when Danny brings us some really juicy stuff that makes Simon wig out. ABSOLUTE LEGEND.
6:16 “Sam show a video clip”. This had me pause the video and laugh for a good 3 minutes. Thanks Sam I needed that.
He didn’t specify what video clip, did he?
Danny that was BRILLIANT. I doubt you can get the same reactions out of Simon (they were hillarious) again, but definitely the correct order for the stories this time.
All praise The Holy Trinity of Blaze! 🙏🏻
I love that Dany is writing this knowing exactly how to push Simon’s buttons. Out of all of Simon’s writers they definitely have the best chemistry. Also, Sam is the Meme God.
I'm surprised you didn't include the guy who was filmed with a bomb around his neck. It actually detonated on live TV, I remember watching a Netflix documentary about it. I didn't think they would actually show it and was a bit shocked when they did.. it was seriously disturbing to watch.
That's probably why it's not included here - it's seriously disturbing and this is Brain Blaze.
EDIT: I wrote that before I got to the point where Danny included an effing SUICIDE!!! Jesus.
I think that was mentioned on an episode of casual Criminalist
Holy crap I just looked up that video and found it on Reddit, it’s intense
That was the Pizza bomber case from Erie, Pa. The creator of the neck bomb was my metal shop teacher Mr. Rothstein . I actually watched this play out live on television from an FOB in Haditha, Iraq.
*amusing you mean?
6:17 is Sam working on all cylinders baby. Lol
Just updated my will today. So the intro to this was exactly what I needed 😂
As a former long-term cocaine user, the amount that the chef was doing was definitely NOT a huge amount, at least not by the standards of a regular user.
The chef's eyes absolutely look to me like he had already done a few lines prior to the camera landing on him.
As far as doing lines with large bills goes, that's definitely a thing. Even if I was by myself, if I had several denominations and they were all equally crisp, I'd use the $100 - just because. Otherwise, if I had to use a bill, I'd use whichever one was the least mangled by circulation so that the majority of the coke went into my nose rather than getting stuck in the creases, folds, and dimples of the bill. To me, this is why a cut straw is preferable.
Former user? When did you stop having fun?
@@JF1908x When I found myself giving a $20 BJ to buy more so I could shoot up.
Yeah I thought the exact same thing
I was thinking he was probably about to give the sous chef at least a thin rail pre-filming. You know, make sure everyone’s on the level.
I always thought large denominations are used because they’re the most crisp
11:50 Simon, people use larger bank notes because they have been touched by fewer hands! Less peasant tears on them.
That super crisp hundred that has never been folded one time is the one.
As someone with too much drug experience, that's not an obscene amount of coke. Easily doable. Sam and Danny are seriously making Simon crazy this round, and it's amazing!
Agreed, that was like an average Friday night party's worth.
For a more light hearted story: Nikel Pallat, former member of the German far-left punk-band "Ton Steine Scherben" was once invited to a talk show to discuss some political nonsense. At some point, he randomly pulls out an axe, which he somehow managed to smuggle into the studio and tries (and fails) to destroy the table they were sitting at to prove some point that probably only he understands. Afterwards, somewhat upset, he starts to steal the microphones still standing on the only mildly damaged table and walks out of the studio.
If you're gonna make a pseudo-znarchist statement, have either an exit plan or a cool method of suicide prepared.
Not this amateur tomfuckery.
Simon, I loving the "tangent cam". Nice touch. (Still miss the script slaps though. 😟)
💓 it when Danny actually shocks Simon(-:
All praise The Holy Trinity of Blaze! 🙏🏻
Lmfao that was great Danny! DANNY! NO WHY!
Bud Dwyer also committed suicide on live TV during a press conference about a scandal he was involved in. Very sad and disturbing stuff.
Yeah I saw that. Disturbing.
Hey man nice shot
I remember bud dwyers suicide I'm pretty sure I saw it on UA-cam too. Though this was back in the early 2000s of really early UA-cam. When I first saw it I couldn't believe it was real just to find out later it was.
@@gavinmoody5678 Yeah that's how it was for me too. It was hard to believe it was real but it definitely was.
A lad in my class won the Blue Peter prize for building Tracy Island from Thunderbirds. Simon and I would have been in the same year group at school in the UK and I reckon everyone in their mid-30s who had a TV recieving the BBC out of all our 4-5 available channels would have watched that segment. Kudos to Toby...he did a pretty awesome job on that.
Imagine if Simon did live TV
None of this would be allowed on TV. #cancelsimon
Gotta say, I’m really diggin’ the “tangent” cam. Adds a lot of energy and makes the videos a little more fun!
I audibly laughed at Sam's edit for the RAF motorcyclists. My co-workers are now very suspicious of me. Thanks Blaze team. Rock on.
That use of the second camera is great. Thanks Simon👍
omg Simon, the tangents....lol
If Danny writes a script on the most effective sui----- techniques, you better kidnap a therapist for the basement.
That was a great ending. Thank you, Danny.
OMG. When the nice BBC lady blew up and fell over burning I laughed/hooted out loud enough to startle my cats. Something about the way you prefaced the bit, Simon made me not like her and oddly satisfied by the clip. This may make me a bad person. However, after faithfully watching almost every blaze on the channel this was my absolute favorite moment so far.
I vote we take away this kid's small animals.
I love how Simon is so allergic to the milk of human kindness that a waiter being kind to him is over enthusiastic
He’s just excessively British
I can confirm as a British person that visited the USA the enthusiasm of American staff is a bit off putting. It feels disingenuous as why would anyone be this excited to serve food.
@@POGAKAChaosOOH As an American I can answer this one! They probably aren't! They're almost certainly being told that they need to behave that way at threat of termination and also struggling to afford rent and food on the low pay as it is so they suck it up and yell about it or cry about it later when they're alone in the walk in freezer possibly icing a burn from a kitchen accident with a pack of mustard because they'll get fired for asking to go to the hospital 😊 welcome to our nightmare! 😊😁
@@holdendewit7088 That sucks buddy. I didn't even think that, like it's almost impossible to fire anyone in the UK on the spot. Really hope it get better mate.
Maybe it's me, but there's something genuinely funny about Simon's tailspin into despair as the last story develops into pure tragedy.
12:41 Would totally agree with you on this one. There are so many substances around the kitchen that are white and powdery that it's kind of inevitable that this kind of tomfoolery would take place.
Though, according to Anthony Bordain, in the ‘80’s in was the norm for chefs to be doing Coke.
Simon shouting at Danny --
We love every single moment of it. *Keep it up Danny !!*
I'm so glad Danny didn't include the reporter who was gunned down, along with her cameraman, by a disgruntled former co-worker while doing a live TV interview on the street. The interviewee was also shot, but survived.
I remember that, it was from where I grew up. My grandmother worked at the Woolworths next to the station, and I had met that reporter a few times when she stopped in. She was awesome.
@Elijah Armstrong not long ago. 2015.
> Is that actually a thing?
Yes. The theory goes you're innocent until proven guilty, so while they don't want you on the front lines, withholding pay before being adjudicated guilty means they're punishing someone who is innocent.
The reason you hear about "paid leave" after someone does a bad is because there frequently is language in collective bargaining agreements that specify a union member is entitled to progressive discipline (as opposed to being fired on the spot for having a pink shirt or something). Under some circumstances, the contract specifies paid leave until the investigation is complete. Not great in a lot of cases, but IMHO it's a fair trade for protection from capricious termination. People complain about it, but remember, the employer has way more control over the employee than vice versa, and someone being out of work for six months unpaid while some bullshit allegation is investigated tends to ruin them financially. The same amount of money is way easier for an employer of any significance (like a municipal police department) to absorb. No sympathy; for years American employers have not only been able to control your ability to eat and pay rent, but also tell you what doctors you can see, when you can sleep, and can force you to work 24/7 with no repercussions. Then fire you for being 15 seconds late with no recourse.
big brain.
Whilst I agree with 90% of what you said, I think blowing an unwilling person up on TV is good reason to be fired.
@@ajstevens1652 I'm sure 100% of people agree with you, but due process is due process for a reason my friend.
Good job Danny! I love to see Simon freak out. That was priceless. I love when Danny tosses in a death story in brain blaze. Simon always has the most shocked look on his face. Priceless.
Let Danny out of the basement and he probably won't be so dark all the time. It is funny to watch Simon get worked up. 🤣
And this is why Danny is a fkcing legend!

The use of Initial D music was masterful.

Don't worry Simon, I'll always be back for more of Danny's writing ❤️

I know exactly what Factboy is talking about with the motorcycles and I love that Sam did the opposite of what he was asked
Great ending Danny thumbs up!!!!
The cocaine section reminds me of a time I went to a concert and bought a funnel cake with only powdered sugar. While my friends were devouring the cake I was busy wiping my fingers on my nose. You know why. My friends found it amusing.
Not 5 minutes later a girl walks up asking us to share the good stuff and getting mad we were not willing to share. I think we had already thrown away the carcass of the funnel cake and the fluffy white sugar. Oh well.
She sounds like a keeper, lol.
In my youth my flatmates and I had a massive housewarming party and for a joke put a large mirror over the top of the bath and left a big pile of icing sugar and some cards and straws on it. It was all fun and games until noise-control and a bunch of police officers came to shut down the party...
Love the white blazer Simon, looking good! I love how you took our constructive criticism on the new format and have turned it back into the Brain Blaze of old, for the most part that is. I completely understand the need for you to sit down. Your energy is back up, the scripts are back to being Blaze worthy, and Sam is on top of his game. The Blaze Trifecta is back!!! Chef's kiss to all three of you! Maybe let Danny and Sam out of the basement for a litt sunshine as a reward...,
Why is there so few BB videos these days??
Are Danny and Sam on a work to rule about their conditions in the basement?

Danny! Danny!!! WHY DANNNYYY!!!!! I really like how Danny is just this off camera menace ruining Simon's life 😂🤣
Can we bring Danny up from the basement for just one blaze?
8:47 Thanks, Sam. Exploding Simon always brings a smile to my face!
When I was a kid, I clearly remember watching a live New Years special where some escape artist was supposed to escape from a giant glass of Champaign. The whole multi hour build up was people walking by the giant glass and pouring bottles into it. When it finally came time you could clearly see the guy submerged, and he works the key to his cuffs out of his mouth with his lips, drops it, and proceeds to panic. The last thing you see before it cut away was a dude running up to the giant glass with a sledge hammer to break it.
I've never seen this mentioned again since that night and at this point I'm not sure if I just imagined the whole thing.
There are a few mentions of this in other places saying it was Penn and Teller doing Fox's New Year's special for 1992-1993. Can't find a video or any official source, though.
That was the best Danny rage ever. Danny don't ever stop traumatizing Simon🤣
One gut punch after the other at the end there, Danny. Brilliantly eloquent.
Sam was pure fire in this video, I lost it several times until I woke everyone in the next room.

Deja Vu absolutely split my sides!!! Well done Sam!
Love this new format. It's a lot easier to follow what's going on when Simon has his own tangent cam.

Also, in general, they are among the most crass, foul mouthed, and promiscuous people you’re likely to encounter second only to construction workers. They were fun people though…
I worked as a sous chef in the evenings, and swung a hammer from sun-up to dinner service. Worst of both worlds.

Way to go Danny, way to go.
In 1987 Budd Dwyer a Republican politician in the state of Pennsylvania held a press conference where he committed suicide on live television by pulling a revolver from a manila envelope put the barrel in his mouth pointed it towards the top of his head and pulled the trigger.
He was about to be sentenced to 55 years in prison for corruption charges after which his family would receive no money from the state but if he was dead before his sentencing then his family could collect benefits. Since then the laws have been changed to make it till killing yourself before you’re sentenced won’t make it to where your family can still receive benefits.
For a moment there I thought you were going to say he survived. The bullet went through the center of his head, missing his brain by 4 feet.
