Yeah, like radio pop songs aren't all high art, but most music is built on a specific drumming style. There's a subgenre of hardcore punk that's literally just named after a drum beat that sounds very similar to the reggaeton dembow beat in how it's used (D-beat) and there's some fantastic music in it

Yeah, like radio pop songs aren't all high art, but most music is built on a specific drumming style. There's a subgenre of hardcore punk that's literally just named after a drum beat that sounds very similar to the reggaeton dembow beat in how it's used (D-beat) and there's some fantastic music in it
