Came here to report to yall. Test drove mazda 6 and camry v6 earlier. Mazda more responsive and smoother shifting imo. Camry lagged at the low end. Interior mazda hands down. Exterior mazda hands down.

This is a seriously good looking car. I really like the Accord in 2.0 Touring trim, but this car conveys such a sense of uniqueness. It’s more special than the competition; it makes me want to take a second look, every time.

Nothing can touch this car for the price. Absolutely a gem. Anyone who buys this knows this and has 0 regrets. The Signature is really the ultimate experience and if you can get one....don’t hesitate.
I have a 2018 signature, 4 going on 5 years later I still get people asking me about it and giving me compliments. Still love it like the day I bought it and the only thing I'd ever trade it in for would be another.
@@aidensnow5017 I have a 2017 model. They didn't have the signature that year it was the grand touring as the top then. But still mostly the same exterior and interior with a few minor changes. I still get compliments on mine as well. Especially after I get a good wash on it. I have the snowflake white pearl color.
I have the 2018 Mazda 6 Reserve and I love what they have done with the redesign. I've been a loyal Mazda driver since 1997 and the Mazda's keep getting better.
had this car, amazing ride, fun to drive. Last night it got totaled though by a guy who stole a car, ran a stop sign, and hit me in my driver side door and I spun out into a house. I cant explain how upset I am that I lost this car :(

Joseph Franceski ya. Even though most cars have a manual/auto selection, it’s fun to drive here in the winding mountains of Pa with that manual. I like the way it pulls up a winding grade... “zoom zoom” 😉😂

I like the 6....The top of the door frames I like how they black out to keep the body color out of the cabin....it’s the small details. Most competitors took that away.

Great review - I love my Mazda 6 2019 2.5T - Unique styling, great pick up, sharp handling, very quiet cabin. The infotainment can be updated but Apple CarPlay & Android Auto makes up for it. Also the back-up camera really needs a re-call : ) However you do get a lot of car for the price point. Side note: The car has some of the most comfortable seats I've ever seen. Long distance driving is pure joy!

I've been looking for Mazda 6 Signature or Volvo S90 Momentum. Overall Mazda 6 has pretty much Specs, Style and Handling that can makes you save close to Half of the price comparing to "Luxury Brands". It is a Smart option.

Just saw where Mazda 6 sales were down 30% last month as well as the new Mazda 3. Truly one of the car industry's biggest injustices. Mazda's marketing department truly lets it down. Would love to see what Mazda would be capable of with the deep pockets of Honda/Toyota. It is truly amazing what kind of products it is able to produce as the small niche company that it is. Outstanding review of a great automobile.

If they want to do something special bring back the Mazdaspeed 6 for the 2020 year. Offer it with a AWD Standard only option and then AWD/FWD Paddleshift/Automatic like it did with the 2019 Mazda 3. Also offer that Black or Red Leather Interior. You could even add the white you've got some pickings. Add the Illuminated Doorsill Trim, upgraded speaker system perhaps, upgraded turbo say putting down near or over 300hp and some other stuff and you've got a killer Sports Sedan. Heck they could make it a 2 door for all I care. But yeah if they were to do that I think they could more than contend with Honda or Toyota.
Unlikely they'll match Toyota and Honda. They've had many years to do so. It not impossible but not likely. They're not a powerhouse like Toyota and Honda. They're considered small compared to the other two giants. Of course it doesn't mean they don't make nice vehicles. The get overlooked mostly because of the other two Japanese badges.

I rarely look at Mazda, but the 6 is very nice for the money. They seem to have come a long way since their Ford days. The styling is conservative vs the Camry, which is all subjective, but still looks good. I do think the Camry XSE is a bit sexier, but, again, that's just a styling preference. All in all, the 6 looks like a great car.

Better than the new 3. Micah Muzio just reviewed this car recently, and he is correct when he said he's worried about what the redesigned 2020 6 will look like considering what they did to the Mazda3 and whether it will lose it's "verve" like the new 3 did.
Just got my 2018 Mazda 6 Grand Touring 2 weeks ago. Not really a big difference from the 2019. Got mine brand new with almost $5k of discount from dealership since they were trying yo get rid of their ‘18s. Really love the car! Question though... I noticed the font Mazda 6 sign on the back of this car seems to be for the 2018. They changed the font now for the 2019 Mazda 6.

Mazda cars look so darn nice - inside and out. I love the 2019 Mazda 3 hatchback. So nice. It's kinda of a shame that they get outsold 10-to-1 by their competitors because their interiors are a lot nicer than their competitors and the exterior of their cars are downright classy and seductive.

I have a 2019 Mazda 6 sport and I LOVE IT!! I've always been a Chrysler kinda person, and never ever looked twice at a Mazda until I stepped foot into one. I was shook!! For sure. Chrysler will always have a place in my auto heart lol but wow!! I'm very impressed with Mazda so many features that most luxury cars have and at a very reasonable price. Also just the way the car feels rides very quiet in both cabin and motor also the seats are very very comfortable. My mazda already has a lil over 18,000 miles on it as I like road tripping and my daily commute to work. Nonetheless no back issues or uncomfortable issues with the seats. My only complaints is I wish Mazda would step it up with the screen size of the infotainment system, it could be much larger and also not being able to access the touch screen while car is in motion. Other than that I give it a 4.5 out of a 5

I own a 2018 non turbo touring model in machine gray. I get compliments all the time even from infinity drivers. Having previously owned a 2015 accord sport I notice the mazda has a bit more body lean when cornering. The accord felt a little more planted which I liked. Otherwise I'm really enjoying the car.
What was your conclusion? Better buy or same or worse? I've looked at all three and feel I'd have to buy each one and drive it for a time before I could make up mind. They're so similar that it is going to come down to the subtle differences, I think. Nice review!

Mazda hands down for me. They have never really cared about competing with Honda and Toyota. However these days they are starting to go after both.of them. They have always made cars for those of us who love to drive. And as always they punch above their class. Inside and out. The lack of a CVT is great, no rubber band feeling when you drive. Mazda still might be down on power but on a two lane road the Mazda will be long gone. Would love to see a 6 speed with the 6 though. Honda and Toyota are very generic looking as a whole.
Can't say I agree with the comment around Mazda trying to go after Toyota and Honda. I would agree when they releases the second Gen 626. That thing was a Camry competitor. But the Skyactiv line of cars are at a different level compared to Honda and Toyota IMO. Is Mazda trying to find a balance between their company ethos and staying competitive. Sure. To stay viable they have to appeal to a demographic that can sustain their business. But having owned over 10 Mazdas over the past 20+ years I can safely say that Mazda is continuing to refine and innovate, rather than sell out. Every time I'm ready for a new car I test drive everything and always come back to Mazda for their styling, dynamics, reliability, small company dynamic and affordability.
What I want to know is how reliable are the 2019 Mazda 6 and if they have any major issues?

The grill resembles a Maserati a little bit. Mazda should have installed red leather with that white exterior paint. That suede dash although looks pretty will fade in the sun over time. Mazda is reluctant to put pano roofs in their vehicles according to Savagegeese; something to do with harming the structure when you cut a big hole in the roof. It's time for Mazda to come out with a totally new redesigned Mazda6; this style has aged well but it's be around since 2014.

I just got a 2019 Honda Accord touring. I love it and drives so well. I wish they would add the 360 view and the back seat USB port like Mazda. But all in all would still choose Honda over Mazda ! Still a beautiful car.

I got the Mazda 6 Grand Touring last year. In Crystal Dark Blue and Black interior. My first time driving Mazda as I have been driving Toyota and Honda for years and years and since I started driving. I get more compliments than 2018 Camry, Altima and Accord whenever I happened to park next to them in public places. Some say it looks like Jaguar and some say it looks like Tesla on the side view. I hope Mazda will have the power-folding side mirror, heated backseat, heads up display and lip spoiler standard in all the Grand Touring levels.
Dont agree regarding paddles. Have owned this very car for a year and the paddles are nice to use.

Always. Mazda is in a league by itself. And that white pearl paint looks exceptionally good. Looks like my 2018 Mazda3 Grand Touring sedan. In fact, Car and Driver said the CX-5 is so good that they compare everything else in the category to it. The new Rav 4 lost to it, btw. 😂😂😂

I'm so Impressed with Mazda the way they are dominating these car brands for years they keep on growing especially with the 6 my favorite car there and I still own a used one from 2009 with huge mileage on it and it still is a wonderful peice of machinery believe me and others who tell u it's a gorgeous vehicle

Raiti's Rides I recently bought a 2019 Touring 2.0t and damn, it really didn’t have to be that quick! I have one zonk however, no power folding side mirrors. My old 2014 CRV and my older 2009 Accord Euro R had it, but not the 2019. I wonder if Honda forgot it.
I am waiting to see how Mazda will refresh the 6 for the 2020 Model. I am looking to upgrade my Mazda 3. I loved what they’ve done with the 3 but it appears the backseat space keeps getting smaller. I love the Mazda engine but am debating between the Accord 2.0 Sport or Mazda 6 hoping that Mazda will bring some of the upgrades from the 3 to the new 6

Love that they added power folding mirrors on 2019 reserve and signature but I still don’t get why they still have a prop rod for the hood, I would pay that extra 100 just for the hood struts and some welcome lights either on the outside mirrors or the door handles.👍🏻

We're getting a new car and our choices are CRV, Accord and the 6 all similarly priced at 45k (yes, nearly 50k for a crv). Our only concern is which has the best ride quality and fuel economy among the 3 since we travel more than 300km every week in bad highway roads. Whats your bet @Raiti Rides?

The touch screen only works when you’re in park I believe. Otherwise you have to use the command knob. Also does it have Apple Car play/Android auto? I saw another review which said it didn’t.

How would you compare the handling on the 6 to the Honda Accord sport 2.0 that you recently tested?
I would say the Honda Sport is a better handler!
chigasaki06 the 6 has a much better balance of handling and comfort. The Accord is a little more numb in handling feel but the slightly tougher ride contributes to slightly better handling abilities.
these cars look better in person.. I think some aftermarket wheels would make it better, it still looks a little boring, and less aggressive than when the refresh came out

Didn't go the dealership to check this out as my last vehicle. Contacted them but never went. Mainly due to the transmission doesn't have enough gears in a world of 8 and 9 speeds. Also not enough grunt like a naturally aspirated V6. Turbo engines can have more issues like with a turbo charger. Not a bad looking car though. We'll see what they do for the next generation. Gas engine days are being numbered with each new model year.

Cars with more than seven gears gear hunt. That's why the mazda 6 is quicker than the camry and accord are slower than the 6 when the car are moving. This is because those cars gear hunt dont if they want to upshift or downshift. This cause the cars to be slower. More gears is not better do your research before posting bullshit
@@mbenton6 The 10 spd Accord is the fastest transmission they've had. Off the line it takes the Mazda 6 without a doubt. Pius the low end torque. Go test drive both and compare. Torque is higher in the Mazda but the transmission is the difference maker. 6.4 seconds 0-60 is all you need. So bullshit goes on your end.
@@drivecfl your speaking 0-60. Mazda beat camry v6 and accord 2.0t 15-60, 30-60 and 30- 90. Ans 15 to 100. This is be cx abuse the camry and accord has too many gears
@@drivecfl hence I said after the car is already moving and not 0-60. On day to day traffic, mazda6 will always be faster. People dont 0-60 on the expressways
Would pick the Mazda3 over this. Sad they are slowly phrasing out the manual.

does the Bose speaker on the front doors work ? they don't work for me, only the dash (near the windshield) are working. When i asked my car dealer they said it's working as intended.

Mazda 6 looks good, but Honda Accord 2.0T all day everyday for me because it's aggressive, faster and reliable!
