    Z którego roku pochodził motocykl? Pamiętasz może nr. Łańcucha? Mam problem z doborem łańcucha do siebie. Będę wdzięczny za pomoc. Pozdro

      Up to you, I did it when K1200r had about 65000km, I heard the chain noise, and the engine has all the time 1st generation tensioner (the flat one-the bad one).

    Can you do it with the engine in the bike?

    Great video, but K1200LT engine is totally different. This does not apply on it.

    How can you replace the smaller sprocket without the locking tool?

    Do you know how i can find TDC mark on crankshaft? BMW K1300s. The cylinder head was broken, timing chain replaced :(

    • @bartomiejkapczynski3194
      @bartomiejkapczynski3194  2 роки тому +1

      TDC is top dead centre, remove spark plug, then you check where is top for each cylinder 👍

      @@bartomiejkapczynski3194 Thank you, already did it with dial indicator.
      P.S. For 1, 4 cylinders

    Does the end of the crankshaft have any mark to know if it is in the correct position before placing the new chain? to verify that the engine is on time?

    • @bartomiejkapczynski3194
      @bartomiejkapczynski3194  2 роки тому +1

      No, you don't need it. You check only when the piston is on the top position.

    • @miguelvite6029
      @miguelvite6029 2 роки тому

      @@bartomiejkapczynski3194 ok, can i see that the piston is at the top from where the spark plug goes? and which of the four pistons should be on top? Thanks

      @@miguelvite6029 you kan look thru spark plug socket. 1st cylinder came from right hand side. But it's enough if you follow the movie. You just make sure yourself when you look thru spark plug 😉
