Frustrating part about the window pieces being scuffed is they have packed windscreen pieces separately because they know it’s a problem but have decided it isn’t worth it for some sets
Yeah i dont get that, and a separate bag for the Windows cant cost more than a dollar for Lego so Idk man

Their customer service is great and the workers are friendly but reaching out can be such a hassle/inconvenience and really something we shouldn’t even have to for the prices we paid.
@Blop a dollar???? Try 0.00006 cents per bag lol. Quite literally costs them nothing, they probably end up saving alot more money down the line because they don't have to keep replacing scratched up window pieces for free
I recently bought the new electric city car small set and that has two parts to form a windscreen and when I removed them from the box, they were loose and have large scratches on them. Really disappointing.
It’s really interesting to see that they are doing plates and studs that are 2 studs height. That will make things easier at times! Also love those teal bricks, look good for a Rock Raiders moc...
I feel similarly about the 3-in-1 street racer from last year: Great set but the teal seals the deal
It has a helipad so it's a real set.
With that said, there used to be a time where medical themed sets were far and between, but I like how this has changed to the better in recent time.
Somehow, this sets execution is better than it’s already solid concept. Absolutely perfect for kids

The value of this set is surprisingly very good, especially when comparing it to other City sets.
So basically this is what some small towns have: a multi response center.
This is more of a thing within a big city. Like small multi-public sector vehicle depots scattered around the city so they have quicker response time, instead of all of the vehicles having to come out of one single police station or hospital.
In a small town they'll just have a single (and small) dedicated police station, hospital, and fire station. Some small towns will have extra depots like this but relegated only to firefighter vehicles just so they can reach a fire quicker l
Cars keep getting wider, I'd like to see many more 4 and 5 stud wide designs.
Some MOC makers can do it, and they fit a lot better on the new road plats.
I really think this might go great with the Lego animal preserve I’m building with my son. This would house the new rescue ATVs nicely and this multipurpose rescue dispatch station really is a nice change of pace.

I love this set. LEGO Creator, LEGO City, and LEGO Expert sets are my favorite type of sets because of the detail and how well they go with LEGO stop motions. One thing I don’t like is my family is poor. We can’t afford even small sets like this and it just hurts how I can’t do something I would really enjoy. Your videos are always so fun and satisfying to watch, and your voice is so relaxing. It helps me forget about the other things going on in my life, and just be happy to know I could always come to your channel. It's amazing to me what you get for $70 for City Rescue sets compared to more civilians sets like the grocery store and the school. This building is twice the size of the school, with a roof and two more vehicles for the same cost. The clip system they have going on it great. I would have loved this set as a child.
With how much you get, along with the brand new pieces, plus all the minifigures, is just proof that the amount they raised prices on the other sets, didnt need to be as high
I wonder what enabled lego to suddenly start pricing the sets like this, a year or two ago this prob would've been $90 to $100

I agree. With all the vehicles, building, minifigs, this is actually a deal for once. If this were to go on sale at any point, it would be the best priced set in a while. It definitely seems like it is for pre-teens, but I (as an adult) still love it
Beacuse were entering a recessesion and if lego were to keep the high prices like before they would probably not sell very well considering people can barely afford rent :/

Though the 2 car set is fair for me at $35.

This modularity is actually great-it'll hopefully make it way easier for kids to make a city of their own, and as a kid it always bothered me how the buildings were so hollow and backless yet so difficult to extend-looks like a very good option opener.
Modular stud shooters to easily remove them??!! Ingenious for children and anti-stud shooter collectors alike!!

This a nice set for a good value. It gives off classic vibes of the old hospitals, police, and fire stations, like you said. And having them combined into one is an interesting twist.
I am actually surprised the police SUV isn't a canine unit and no dog is included. It looks like one.
I wish this could connect to the hospital. I have it and would love to connect this to it for that extra space and ambulance. I have the included heli, the large heli, included ambulance, and the off road-version, but I want more. My clone army needs medical care LOL!
This is a great set. The funny thing is, here in England in real life, (I'm thinking of my hometown specifically) a former old fire station has recently been re-converted into a fire & police station combi. Undoubtedly done for cost purposes. I just find it interesting that real life mimicks Lego.
My only downer is that the cost of this set in the UK is a little rough.

The new head for the firefighter is similar to mine, so I'm excited for that
A helicopter whose rotor is not moving freely… very sad. 😢 Would have devastated me as a kind, rotors have to spin freely.
Seems they really put some effort into the vehicle builds this time. It's a small detail but I love how that 1x2 bar piece wraps around the little bit of the vent brick peeking out behind the cockpit of the helicopter.
This is a great idea for a set! I like that it provides younger folks, or people on a smaller budget with a base for all their first responders in one set!

I love this set and it was my first LEGO purchase of the new year. It is almost perfect, but the two green spaces are both missing something. Keep up the good work LEGO!
I was taken initially by the combination of medical/fire/police in one set. It's a great 3-in-1 for someone who wants a bit of each. But what really impresses me is the the respective color schemes actually look really good together. About the only real negative is at this price point the building is small compared to the vehicles. But a larger building would be $100 vice a $70 set.
I don't object to the road plates (that I usually greatly dislike). Here they are put to good use. I also don't object to the set being 6+. Many of the fire/police sets are 6+ so it blends right in with them without looking strange.

Not a set i'm overly interested in - however, I really want that hairpiece in mid stone grey.
As soon as I saw the hospital part I immediately had to get it as I have the hospital from 2017 so I did some upgrades to the top level and put the top level on top of that
In my opinion they shouldve made the outdoor space a cell for a criminal and that TV room downstairs like a little medical room with some tools and stuff
I like the shared first responder base because some small cities/towns have only 1 municipality building that houses all 3. I agree that another figure was needed, maybe a fire captain or so. The rotor pieces is most troubling, especially for kids who like to spin those. Great set!
Am I crazy or is this background music returning from older review videos? Maybe I just haven’t noticed it recently, or I’m confusing myself, but it felt like a nice throwback and it put a big smile on my face.
These plates are amazing
The design for this thing really reminds me of the old hospital from Lego Island. It's got a similar building shape doesn't it? And while I thought the building was sort of small, the fact that it comes with three vehicles is a great start for any City playset.
A bit plain as an adult, but I bet a lot of kids would love this for a birthday.
It's $80 in Aus which seems very fair for the play value.
The only thing i can imagine the patio thing being is a smoking area. But for a lego set, no that's not it. Maybe an area to get a little fresh air, without the smoking. That would be nice for a lot of places in real life too.

I bought this set (as part of hitting the threshold for the Blacktron GWP) and I agree with how good it is. I like the ambulance design.
Couldn’t decide whether to get the hospital , firestation, or policestation so I was so excited to see that there was this set!
I wish Lego would figure out a way to move away from the middle steering wheel in these city sets.
Whole deal of six studs wide vehicles was to put two figures side by side. Two bricks high doors. Jumpers on the floor. Job done. They done it with adventures jeep two decades ago with five studs wide mold and I was able to make every car like this with parts aviable back then. Guess structural integrity is a bit compromised then, as you can't have solid beams on the sides in such design, and after takin of the roof, vehicle likes to break in half.
Needless to say, with all those screens, the dispatcher is over worked. Going to need that coffee maker for sure.
This is just a glorified city part pack and i love it!

I personally in my model(ish) city use the rear space on the SUV for equipment i usually have a helmet a rifle from a different brand (don't remember which) and then a little megaphone piece

I got replacement pieces for the Galaxy Explorer canopies (both). They came each in an individual bag, no scratches, so no need to "keep trying" 😅
Recently contacted them about 3 different windscreen pieces that were scuffed. The ones they sent me were even worse than the ones I had. Then I had to go through this whole annoying verification process and they sent me the pieces again, but those were in about the same condition as my original pieces and I just gave up.
The way I see it, this is a complimentary set to the most recent LEGO CITY Hospital, Police Station and Fire Station. Not sure the benefit was enough to release something like this. I missed out on the last Hospital set(I still regret it). Just wonder if maybe it would have been better to come out with a medical clinic or a smaller hospital? There is such an overkill with Fire Station vehicles/helicopters and Police vehicles.

The vehicles would have been better if they had a more generic colour scheme, then you could add the modular parts to turn the vehicles into the specific type that’s needed for the emergency. Could have then had a boat to replace one of the cars to cover all areas that might be needed. It would make the modular features make more sense

Scuffs on window pieces is something I've been seeing on pretty much all of my window pieces... I thought it was a new norm, still not sure if I should call for all of them.

I know it's just a toy but weird to have satellite or radio dishes whatever you would like to call them right beside where a helicopter comes in 😅
Either the vehicules are tiny bit too big for building or the building is undersized for the vehicules but that bugs me. Also, they could have selected a better helmet for the helicopter pilot, the plain motorcycle helmet feels cheap.
Other than that, it's good and a great starter set for a city, you get a bit of everything regarding emergency situations.
I'm going to get this set this week so I will let U know if I have the same problem with the rotor on the helicopter
Is it just me, or does the ambulance look like a soft serve ice cream truck ?
Can that helicopter attach to landing pad in any way? Old platforms had studs or elevated plate to keep skids in place at least in one axis. Here it seems flat.
It’s flat and it sits on the helipad rather than attached to it.
Does that clip-on container for the helicopter use a new clip? Modified 1x2 plate with vertical clip? I only know the version with the horizontal clip which has been around for yeeeaars. I always wondered why they didn't release a vertical version!
It's a 1x1 with clip on the right side of the container. I suppose probably together with 2x2 L plate.

Neon seems so..Artificial, It doesn't LOOK lego, Even though I have lots of those, It looks so..Megablok-ish.
Scuffed parts brand new from box literally ruined the whole build experience and is just as bad (if not worse) than having excessive stickers…really hope LEGO gets it together because their quality has been dropping…”Only the best” HAAA what a joke

10:26 Lego shoulda put a red air tank in that box, it could be some lungs for a transplant.
I still don't like these one-wall buildings. The vehicles are nice, but getting more and more similar (like the food trucks). The designers are generally very good at packing tiny details into every corner, but in this I can not see enough of those either...

@@pierceplaysstudios245 That and he's wrong, because stations like this absolutely exist in country towns too small for a full hospital or firehouse. Patients are transported elsewhere.
Eh, I can't complain too much. If you just think of it as a dispatch station, maybe add some of your own stuff, it's perfectly fine, especially for the price. Normally I feel you're closer to $100 for this kind of stuff.
You send them to the jail from last year's police station, or last year's hospital? This is basically an expansion to last years emergency services lineup with new vehicles for each and a structure without any duplication.
It's a quick dispatch depot. The paramedic will drive a patient back to a dedicated hospital, and the police man will drive the criminal back to a dedicated precinct. The fire helicopter is just a fire helicopter so it will fly over to a fire and extinguish it then land back at the depot to refuel
Helicopter rotor issue renders it unusable. Horrific quality downfall at Lego in recent years.
Lego is out of their minds if they are asking $70 for a basic city build. Don't support this nonsense
