Hi. Thank you for the shout out. Great video. I had gained a few subs and had no idea how. Now I know. When I did the video there was only an early image made by RPardini himself. Now there are nightly images from Armbian. They are a lot differences to the RPardini images. We are still hoping to find somebody who's willing to take the job of maintainer for RPi products. Then real development for it can happen. If we don't find anyone, then there will not be much improvements. At least people can build their own images, and make the changes they want. For desktop I wouldn't recommend it yet. But for server tasks, or light tasks it is good. Also depends on which version of Armbian you've got. One has GPU drivers enabled, the nightly has them disabled. Indeed the OC isn't a great idea in my opinion. That's one of the fist things a RPi maintainer may change. Nice you like my "under construction" wallpaper :) I had made a ton different ones. This one is for boards that don't have support yet. I've seen your name pop up. But this was the first video I've seen from you. Best of luck with it. Greetings.
Thanks for these videos! Im still on my quest to find perfect UA-cam OS for RPI! Fenix PI was awesome while it lasted but their support crew seems to be missing in action, current version of adblock is crashing Chromium :/. Manjaro was okish but still chops and lags and is generally slow. Maybe Ill take a look at this one, Firefox seemed really nice on this OS!
I recently made a Pi 4B work smoothly (no frames dropped in 720p) with Debian 11 Bullseye. Got lucky with MATE in 3840x2160 instead of all the others that were choppy and bloated.
Well, as always, it's on software decoding. The best bet it's firefox with some tweaks. You should be able to do 1080p30 or 720p60 without dropping frames even on soft decoding.

Thanks for the comment! I’m excited to see where Armbian on the Pi4 will go, especially after seeing what you said. I’ll be keeping an eye out for it!
Seems like a good idea. I look forward to seeing if it gets the kind of support it needs.
i like your videos beacuse you also give us a opporsunity to watch system usage
Thanks to cover armbian!!!!
Happy to do so!
My suggestion for desktop look would be to install xfce4-goodies and then add a wishker menu.
ive got to check it out if they have any cui version ;)
Thanks for these videos!

wifi after updating the system not provide internet for network browsing. Really low recomendation
Hit q to quit htop, ctrl-z just suspends it, doesn't fully close the program. Use fg to bring it back up.
Oh ok, thanks!
Np! I like your channel better than that Canadian Asian kid.
Which language was there in web browser
Twister vs Armbian?
For raspberry pi 4 2gb
I think that TwisterOS is better as an overall experience but if you wanna tinker go with Armbian.
You could also change your processor speed with armbian-config ??
I'm not sure. I didn't try it.
good review. not sure why they added duplicate apps like multiple note taking apps, screenshot tools, and file managers. seems like bloat
Hi! It is unrelated but i just uploaded a video about my pi400 scrcpy setup. Hope to see your take on it soon :)
