I know VERY little about archery but these videos are fascinating. If your goal is to stoke interest, then you're doing a fantastic job. As a wood and metal worker, watching the process-oriented craft that goes into all this is just great. Subbed and enjoying these greatly, please keep it up!
Tweaking a bow and arrow set up for maximizing arrow flight can be a journey, but the destination is worth it when you shoot a perfectly matched arrow and field point with zero fletching on it and it flies straight as a dart to the target. You then attach your feather fletching and your matched weight broadhead and it zips straight into the target. Magical.
Awesome videos, super helpful and really well made. Is there a way to make the twists in the bow string more permanent so that I dont need to adjust brace height each time the bow is strung?
Kramer, i don't know if you will see this but i really had the idea of someone to make a bow out of popsicle sticks, will it bow? you're the one to know that.
I like to use a Bear side plate and rug rest when possible. I do use others like the Felt for air hockey pads of needed for some bigger rests liek some duel sided bows with wide rests and use a hair rest bottom as a side plate or even some thinner material for a side plate if needed. Some bows do not need a bottom rest if that is rubber like on the Bear Titan or some older all fiberglass bows that use a rubber handle/top plate but in this case I will use a side plate often like a Bear style one if possible but if not, I would use the hair rest bottom or similar thin material. I hate the trangles but one bow I have has one on it more forward due to the type of bow rest they were going to put on it a very long hair rest one pice for longbows that fails quicker and how curved they made the side so almost no rest. So I used an old rest that was too thick for one bow but can work for this bow to push out the side to be flat even and if not I will get Bear style side plate.

Aloha from Hawaii. Love your videos, great infotainment and very entertaining 🤙🏽
Dude I love you're videos, I'm hoping to use what I learned to make a competition bow for the SCA
Great video. It made some arrow turning simpler for this novice.❤️❤️
Which rest option would you recommend for a center shot takedown riser
Great video, thanks Kramer!
I would like to see if you can make an ambidextrous bow, one bow to shoot both left and right handed.
Great plains makes one. They make fantastic bows. Tell them Glenn from norway sent you
How would this change for (right)thumb shooting with the arrow on the right side of the bow?

👍 Nice explanation. Makes one wonder how primitive people ever put food on the table.
