      It's actually considered a valued commodity, and there are/were syrup cartels stealing and selling black market syrup.
      Although you aren't wrong. After the great maple war of 2019, we have had an increase in production leading to an overflowing of the product, leading to the great plains syrup run of 2020.
      So yes, we use gondolas now to get through the syrup canals.

    a used 30/30 she'll will work better and it will fit in a piece of 1/2 inch steel pipe. if you decap the shell (remove the primer) you will not have to drill it out. it will also make threading the firecracker a lot easier. match heads can be added around the firecracker to give it more punch. or you can break open a few firecrackers and pour the powder in with it. a piece of toilet paper makes good wadding or buffer for your projectile.

    You joke but growing up in a rural Kansas farm town I can tell you that can ACTUALLY find them all over the high school parking lots here. Not because people are shooting up schools etc etc but because people police their brass, throw it in their trucks and it falls out of their beds or floors. It may sound insane to someone from a bigger city but it's a part of life here.

    haha great stuff, I did this when I was much younger. I was obcessed with firearms and I used to make guns out of cardboard. I decided to get firecrackers and insert a metal tube into a cardboard gun, light a firecracker and drop it into the barrel then quickly stuff a projectile into the barrel with great results like this. I got my projectiles to penetrate like 5 soda cans or like 4 cardboard boxes. I didn't have spare empty shell casings or a drill to go this far but I got great results as well. very creative.

    I love how he said he thinks that the 270 cartridge was a 308 or 30-06 I could clearly read the 270 on the bottom😂😂 I got a pretty good laugh from that

      I know. At least in America when we find a 270 case on the sidewalk we don't confuse it with a 308. Ignorant people act like its a bad thing that we still have guns. It just ensures that we'll keep our rights longer than the sheep who gave up their arms.

      Lol, I like your 2A home security label jack. I don't advertise that my home is armed, but when a neighbor told me that having the shades open where someone could look inside and view my electronic system was dangerous, I lifted my shirt and patted my IWB and said that I like to call that "baiting the trap".

    • @brianjordan2192
      @brianjordan2192 5 років тому

      No you don't. School shootings are extremely rare. Do some research on the number of schools and compare it to the number of real school shootings. No air guns, not after school incidents, not near the school incidents, not incidents in the summer when schools are closed, and not suicides on school grounds.
      Then compare real school shootings to other nations around the world and you'll see just how misinformed you are.

    Super easy way to make the firecrackers load easier into the bullet casing is to slip a long thin piece of string through the hole from the outside and let it dangle through the front of the bullet casing, then tie a quick knot around the firecracker fuse, and pull on the other end of the sting. It'll pull the fuse through with it, but be careful not to yank it too hard or you might pull the fuse out.

    Or you could put som gunpowder in the bullet. And the fuse is this little electric fuse from a basic lighter. Would work as good as the firecracker BUT it is more dangerous.

      .223 is not exactly the same as 5.56 just saying. Don't shoot 5.56 out of a .223 chambered gun. you can shoot .223 out of 5.56 gun though. But yeah, don't tell people they are th exact same, that's how rifles get fucked up

    • @lenshambhala3923

      I watched it twice and could not figure out where the hell the word "racist" came from.
      Then I combined it with some other comment, "too soon", to figure out it probably involves Black Lives Matter. I think? Holy shit. I'm Canadian too and despite not knowing Inventor719 I am sure it never occurred to him either. It was just a joke about the proliferation of guns in the US (common, everywhere with everyone) compared to Canada (very rare, only on gun ranges with licensed firearms users).
      I'll risk being political to say that US cops shoot first and ask questions later because the public is so well armed. The reason black people are shot much more often is pure racism.
      I have only seen a privately owned handgun once in my life, 40 years ago. Nobody I know has ever been shot at. I have never seen a cop take his/her gun out of it's holster. Canadians see the world differently.
      Of course you could be from France. Those French are so easily offended.

      +Len Shambhala I like how you judge and call American police "racist". That is totally stereotypical. You don't even live in the United States so nobody wants to here your ignorance. Go back to your free healthcare.

    • @lenshambhala3923
      @lenshambhala3923 8 років тому

      +Liam's Herps Oops. I never meant to say American police (and therefore Americans in general) are racist. That is obviously not true. I meant to say that when deadly force is used on a black person in a situation where it would not have been used on a white person, racism and racial stereotypes seem to be the clear reason. One ignorant cop, not all of them. It shows up more in America simply because deadly force shows up more in America. Racism is everywhere.
      Canadians are drenched in American media. We see all the news and videos you see. I know enough to at least have a reasonable opinion.
      Free health care is excellent.

      +David Snyder Okay... I'll bite. I wasn't going to, but 3 beers later... ;^)
      Stats (2010) say that non-hispanic whites make up 63.7% of the US. Non-hispanic blacks make up 12.2%. So, if police killings were proportional there would be 5.2 times as many whites killed by police. Not twice as many. I have no idea how to determine what percentage of the whites killed were Irish.
      People who bitch and complain about race when the circumstances clearly show the police acted in perfectly reasonable self-defence are obviously wrong, but that doesn't apply to when self-defence is obviously not reasonable (ie. "I can't breath"). Those are the only circumstances I am talking about.
      I don't want to mention names, but the people who are saying that blacks are somehow more dangerous are just pushing racial stereotypes *cough* Maine Governor Paul LePage *cough*.

I think it's all out of good fun most of the time and that most people aren't offended. I'm not saying it was justified but we had it coming.

    I'm from the USA and I have to admit you are right, it is likely we can find spent bullet casings on the sidewalk or something..usually 9mm. I just collect my own pistol and rifle brass when I leave the range to reload. I figure I paid for it, I'm keeping it lol. @graytv-7345 The US. Go to any big metro city here on any given weekend and you're liable to find brass. I was a police officer for years as well and have been to several scenes where gunfire took place and there was plenty of spent brass laying around.
