@@ol_smokey9370 I'm 16 and I was given my dad's old plow truck that is a 1997 GMC 2500. It's a base model with crank windows and manual locks. I love it way more than I thought I would.
Those trucks will never lose class! So good looking! Like how the owner went and bought new jeans so he didn't dirty his freshly detailed truck seat. How do I know they are new? He left the size tag stuck to the back just under the pocket. Anyone else catch that?
I said it in the first video of you cleaning this truck, and I’ll say it again. I enjoy seeing the old retro blue or red interiors in the older vehicles! It’s nice to see that in some vehicles!
Old Chevy trucks never die, every so often they do need a good detailing. We enjoy watching you. Keep up the great service you provide and thank you for taking us along with you in the process. 😊
We have a 1964 Chevrolet c10 and it still is in the same condition as it was from the dealership, it has been restored in a few places but still almost the same as when my great grandparents bought it as a farm truck and I also wash it because my Dad is the one that owns it now
I started a job as a detailer at one of the dealerships in my area just short of a month and a half ago, and it has made me develop a newfound amazement for your work. A bad day for us is getting a car that takes 4-5 hours to finish, but to you that's practically nothing. Keep up the great work!
Great work as always! And how lovely you’ve got return customers who know your work and trust you long term. That’s sweet and wonderful right there, a true testament of your level of professionalism and standards.
Love when you feature the older vehicles. The materials used on the interior were better than and they always seem to clean up beautifully (carpets, seats). Nice to see someone who hangs on to their older vehicle, given the emphasis on buying new every few years.
Question: I hardly ever see detailers cleaning seatbelts and I need a solution to how to get clean discolored gray seatbelts. If they were black, no problem. Can you show us sometime how you clean grubby light-colored seatbelts? Is getting stains out of seatbelt material harder than carpet material or seat material? Am I doomed to have discolored seatbelts on my (otherwise ) nice old Buick interior? Love your videos, BTW
It's relatively easy. Spray them with APC, Then I usually agitate them with easier a drill brush or boars hair detail brush, The drill brush works much better, but then I hit them with my steamer and you can see all the nasty black stains and gunk shoot out. I usually use like vice grips or something to hold the seat belt exetended out.
My interior and seat belts are Gray as well. I've also even seen people do what I said before, but if they don't have a steamer, they extended them and lay them on the exterior door and pressure wash them also. Just make sure to use a 40° tip, not something that will hurt the paint or the fabric.
@@m_l_ek3857 Hey, I'd recommend wearing a simple pair of Nitrile Disposable Gloves, it honestly doesn't burn unless you're holding a piece and focusing an area by the hand.
