This Jeep Grand Cherokee was full of all sorts of nasty stains and smells, and I even pulled a few VERY unexpected items out of it! The transformation it makes is nothing short of spectacular!

Wow, very well done Mitch! I am puzzled by the giant box of cat litter. Must have forgotten to bring it in after the stop at the store. Those leather/fabric seats looked like a nightmare to clean, but you did a great job. I am using your glass cleaner and your waffle weave towels and I am impressed. Glass cleaning, no streaks, no lint! Have a great weekend as well. You deserve it!

I think you should make some detail geek stickers so when a vehicle is detailed and the client is totally okay with it , you put it on the corner of the rear windshield and it should say
“ Detailed by The Detail Geek “ with a rubber ducky in the picture . I’d so much love that . Its like leaving with a bonus souvinir .

Here in PA we sometimes use cat litter in the winter on ice. If you sprinkle it down on the ice it helps create more tractions on the wheels for those who only have 2 wheel drive!

Incredible detail on a 14 year old car (the older vehicles are always my favorite ones to watch)--cleaned up beautifully. The owner must have been over the moon with the result. As a side note, really like that you are using instrumental music only to accompany your detailing--I prefer that over music with vocals. Again, fantastic job as usual.

Is keeping cat litter in your car not a thing everywhere with snow? It adds weight to the vehicle so you don't slide as much on soft/loose snow, and you can sprinkle it under your car to get traction if you are stuck. Pretty standard part of winter gear, I thought.

Theory, the owner is a mechanic, all the oil and grease stains, cat litter for oil spills, jug of oil. They travel to jobs off the roads, traction tires. Probably forestry machinery. More than likely a side job, 35's with no lift, needed traction on a budget. Knife, because anyone who goes into the wilderness often carries a knife or two.

I know down here in Wisconsin many of us will carry cat litter in case we get stuck in mud, snow or ice. Also my brothers keep some around incase they get oil or anything on their driveways while working on cars. 🤷‍♀️

Have you ever thought to remove the entire carpet from the car when its a really dirty car? Because some of the dirt and grime can get underneath it.

I’m going through rough times right now. This video (and your others) offer an escape. Also, when I see other detailers, I think, “they’re not doing it right.” Comparing them to you LOL Keep up the great work, and I can’t wait to hear more on your good news! (No spoilers)

16:47 Thanks! I was just wondering if an impact driver would be an option. Now I know it’s not!!
Also, you do a lot of water dilution with your chemicals to adjust their strength or make them last longer. Have you posted a product list along with the solution strength for each type of surface you use it on? I’m about to sell a truck and I’d like to give it a good cleaning first, but I don’t want to overdue the mixture strength when it isn’t necessary.
    Thanks again!!

Do you know anything to help remove nail polish from leather car seats my sister in law took my car without permission and she spilled it in my car I was super furious and I’m hoping to save my seat in stead of getting a new one since it’ll be a year before she can replace my seat if it can’t be saved I tried nail polish remover but it’s so hard and dry it’s not coming out

Cat litter is for traction if you get stuck in some melty/icy snow!!! I thought carrying litter was commonplace in the north, I guess not!

A true 2-3 stage polish/buff with a rupes and the compound they sell would take minimum 2 days. Plus a OP ceramic coating takes 12 hours to cure. We assure 90% scratch removal and a 3-5 year warranty. I’d stick to the details aspect if I were you unless you plan on really doing thorough buffing work.
