My 2008 Yukon Denali has a play in the transfer case. Do you think that's why it vibrates when I'm going 65 or 70 mph and sometimes when I hit the gas it continues to vibrate more?
My transfer case caused a P700 and p733 code. while driving the gear would slip and make a grinding noise. I found a hairline crack in the top of the transfer case where the fluid was leaking out. I drained the fluid out of the transfer case and metal pieces came out. I replaced the transfer case and the truck drives better than ever. I called 2 transmission shops and both of them swore the only time a P700 or other transmission codes activate is when there is an internal transmission problem. They quoted me 4k to rebuild the transmission when the real problem was the transfer case.
WOW !! This should be a what not to do video on safety. Crawling under a running in gear vehicle isnt the best idea. Especially with those type of jack stands. Didnt notice if a wheel chock was even used up front. That spinning driveshaft would rip your arm off if those loose clothes get snagged in that u joint. The puddles of water covering the floor with the shop light next to it is an electical shock hazard waiting to happen. Exhaust fumes in an enclosed area is also bad practice. This vid shows everything not to do EVER !
Man your out your mind getting around that drive shafts well it moving clearly you got bad u joints if somthing got caught on that shafts well you was under there you wouldn't need worrie about u joints any more ?
