Thanks for sharing this review. I bought my fourth Lexus last week, an RX premium. I was concerned about the difference between a 6-cyl and a 4-cyl. Surprisingly, when the start-stop feature is turned off, you can't tell the difference. Freeway acceleration is good, and in sports mode, it's great. The stereo sounds like it has been upgraded from my last RX, which I use as a work vehicle. I'm really enjoying it.

As someone who has been the biggest RX fan since 2004, it took me quite sometime to start liking this redesign. I like it, but I hope when Lexus gives this thing a facelift, you'll make some changes to the front end (nose). Fix those tough sensitive buttons on the steering wheel, add that new gauge cluster, give it the UX/LC steering wheel, make PALOMINO F-sport seats, bring back regular fuel across all engines (87 octane), give more colour options across luxury/FSPORT MODELS. and make the f-sport 350H. Those are a few changes I want to see and maybe a few more to enhance that styling and comfort. I'm still the biggest Lexus fan and will buy another after my UX's lease is up! Also, almost bought my UX from you guys
Nice review. Does the RX come with two key fobs, and does it have a digital speedo???
My RX came with 1 fob and two keys. I was told during my purchase that the other fob would be sent to me when the chips were available. I'm not worried about it since I still have both of my fobs from my last Lexus.
I customized my steering wheel (2nd page in the left)No longer able to toggle on & off audio. How do I toggle on after car wash employees inadvertently toggled off?
owning this car is becoming liability. my neighbour who has 2023 350 h got a letter from his ins company informing there will be a substantial increase to his premium upon upcoming renewal. how nice of the insurer to pre lure him lol. I was thinking about the 2022 rx as I like the v6 power but I will pass with all the rx"s stolen in Ontario

I've driven vehicles with the rear wiper coming down from the top. Typically, it's worse for visibility. The bottom corners of the glass don't get cleaned and makes it difficult to see the road behind you. Then when the dirt is dried, it really blocks the view through the corners. Vehicles behind you are harder to notice. This is only fine to have if the vehicle comes with a digital rear mirror camera, as this does.
Try driving looking ahead 🙄
Can you get front massage seats?
Not in the RX yet but the GX did just release a model with it!

Hybrid, easily.
Dustin its not chilling when it gets stolen in 10 seconds and 80K out the door. Make security features standard like engine immobilizer or any others.
That blunt front end is gonna get HAMMERED by road debris.
Maybe im the only one here but i liked the older front grill compared to this weird looking thing. Also lack of v6 is a huge no for me. I got a feeling the olv NA v6 will be more reliable then any turbo 4 cylinder.
You’re not alone. I thought it looked hideous the first time I saw it, especially when you compare it to the previous generation. Also the reason I chose the new NX. It’s smaller, but at least it’s upgrade to the older NX.
Pretty much every Lexus is reliable. V6 engines have gone the way of the dinosaurs, CDs, and newspapers. Some people will always have to be dragged, kicking and screaming, into the future.

For the weight of this car the 4 cyl. is a extreme disappointment even with a turbo as compared to the V6. Drove a used 2020 RX with the 6cyl and was impressed with its performance and acceleration. Your better off with a Toyota if you want a 4cyl.car and it will cost you a lot less.
Well said. I’m sure most moms would buy this which Lexus might believe is all they need. I for one would never buy another new Lexus with a turbo 4 banger. I’d get a Toyota if I care for reliability only and save my money

Taking out 3 L V6 engine makes RX model slowly dies.
Nothing - even better colours - won't help - producer's incorrect decision will kill this SUV.
Exactly. Why would I pay premium for a 4 cylinder. Just get a Toyota and be done with it if reliability is what matters. Been driving Lexus for two decades and my GS is my last Lexus. It was fun while it lasted.
Lexus made a big mistake by not offering a 6 cylinder engine any longer. My days of looking for a Lexus SUV or over and done with. I wouldn't have a 4-cylinder engine in any car under any circumstance..

These RX models are now built in the USA not in Japan 😢
Some are built in Ontario Canada, and some , like the RX450h+ are built in Japan.
I just ordered mine, making its way from Japan, VIN numbers starts with J.

@@itistime5699 just got an email from the sales, it would actually be here next week. So ETA is 4-5 weeks, if you have to wait for one from Japan.
