I feel like Masahiro Sakurai only video games rule is total bull crap and ruins potential for characters like James bond, the video game version the golden eye doesn't have a chance to get in and other characters like Bat-Man and anime characters can't get in because of this dumb rule.
@@heribertovizcaino4682 Bond was actually considered for Melee. That aside, Smash is meant to be a celebration of Nintendo and later video game history as a whole, so it makes sense that they keep the focus on... y'know... video games.

I don't remember if it was pre-release or just the Japanese version, but Smash 64 did have lightsaber sound effects for the Beam Sword. This was changed due to copyright issues.

Unpopular opinion but I feel like items have gotten too strong, annoying obnoxious as the the series went on, in Smash 4 and Ultimate you have stuff like the Beetle from Skyward Sword and Gust Bellows which are just unfun to play against. I won’t list them all but I just wanna say that in the next Smash items should get nerfed back to Melee levels so they’re not OP or instantly kill you. Also shoutouts to the Kirby Parasol in Melee and it having unique animations for every character’s slow descent with it, I love seeing Captain Falcon use it.
Eh, I prefer the items from 4/Ultimate to those from Meele, levels the playing field. And, if you don't want one item you can just toggle it off in the options, win/win.

The Bunny Hood apeared in Ocarina of Time already although without the increased running speed

I still approve of the Master Ball on Magikarp. Zigzagoon, not so much.
The Tiny Red Soldiers is a reference to Advanced Wars. The Bottle Rockets is a reference to Mother 2. The tiny Leaf in a Ball looks like the Leech Seeds from Pokemon.
The healing gummy thing is a Smash original, and while leech seeds drain health of anyone they're attached to, the item in Smash only heals you if its attached to you specifically, the complete opposite
The Lip Stick and flower status are much closer to Leech Seed than that one item, at least on the damaging side

The Super Pickaxe could have a smaller hitbox because it is much smaller than the hammers by default, while also make you run faster to make up for the shorter range, and maybe this one has no chance of failing at the exchange of being harder to control, and would be funny if just like Dedede, if Steve uses the item, he would be wielding both his pickaxe and the item xd
There's no such thing as a Pink Gold Metal Box, PGPeach is Peach's golden form like Gold Mario and Silver Luigi, and they get that from the Golden Flower, which could actually work as an item because Smash already has a Golden effect where the character gets very powered up without becoming heavy like with the Metal Box
The Wing Cap would be cool as an item that lets you glide like Steve in Ultimate, and the winged characters in Brawl

Umm, am sure that the Gusty Bellows debuted in Minish Cap.
The one from Minish Cap is more of a vaccum that can spew puffs of air, the one in Smash is based on the Skyward Sword item that blows constant streams of wind
It would be helpful if you wrote down the title of the series when listing them.
For the Beam Sword and Blaster you should've just used clips from the Star Wars movies instead of the games. They're references to Star Wars instead of being taken directly from Star Wars.

So, just be aware, the characters do tend to wander a bit. Uh, they're left in some kind of free roaming mode at night. Uh... something about their servos locking up if they get turned off for too long. Uh, they used to be allowed to walk around during the day too. But then there was The Bite of '87. Yeah. I-It's amazing that the human body can live without the frontal lobe, you know?
Uh, now concerning your safety, the only real risk to you as a night watchman here, if any, is the fact that these characters, uh, if they happen to see you after hours probably won't recognize you as a person. They'll pr- they'll most likely see you as a metal endoskeleton without its costume on. Now since that's against the rules here at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, they'll probably try to... forcefully stuff you inside a Freddy Fazbear suit. Um, now, that wouldn't be so bad if the suits themselves weren't filled with crossbeams, wires, and animatronic devices, especially around the facial area. So, you could imagine how having your head forcefully pressed inside one of those could cause a bit of discomfort... and death. Uh, the only parts of you that would likely see the light of day again would be your eyeballs and teeth when they pop out the front of the mask, heh. Y-Yeah, they don't tell you these things when you sign up. But hey, first day should be a breeze. I'll chat with you tomorrow. Uh, check those cameras, and remember to close the doors only if absolutely necessary. Gotta conserve power. Alright, good night.

At best there's that double edged electric yellow weapon from Kirby 64 that also made lightsaber-like sounds, and maybe the fire sword from that game, but nothing close to the beam swords of Smash, that are lightsaber as hecc, especially the earlier designs, and I remember they had to change its sounds in a gsme because they were making the item a little too similar to Star Wars lightsabers

Not really. After you beat Mr. Carpainter it’s mostly just a novelty. It’s good protection if you’re fighting against an enemy with electric attacks but that’s about it. Mother 3 is where it really had its most prominent role, but of course that isn’t where it came from.

Just one addition: the Blue Shell originated in Mario Kart: Double Dash. Die one from the N64 was a different Item (no wings, behaves different). I don't know about their names though, since I just played the german versions.
But I believe on N64 it was the Stachelpanzer and since Double Dash it's the Stachi-Panzer
The one in Smash is more specifically based on the one from 7 and 8/DX, that one has no wings, but still flies and blows up like the one in Smash
24:23 If I could add another Fire Emblem item, that would be the Rusted Sword. Overtime, it would evolve into an Iron Sword, then Steel Sword, then Silver Sword, and finally Brave Sword. It would be pulled up by Peach or Daisy.
Would be cool to have an item that rewards you for keeping it for long, especially in a game where losing items is easy as heck
