Great video! I love the Triple7 but it just doesn't seem to have enough tires for that kind of weight! Think about a semi truck with 18 tires that are about half that size but the truck maxes out at 82,000 pounds! So even if you double that it still doesn't come close to the MTOW of a 777300ER. Amazing. AND they are going to run that down the runway at 170mph.
Love EVA Air, best Transpacific service, especially Premium Economy, although I will soon be booking Business. I use either LG G6 or Galaxy Note FE. Not a big fan of GoPro.

linjeflyg It's the first time I see those BR markings, this should be a relatively new set of tires (despite the dirt from RCTP...). For the new 77Bs, we switched from Bridgestone to Michelin, so they definitely are making some changes to the tires (not notifying us though). Our maintenance are doing a great job keeping these birds as neat as possible, but apparently RCTP has the winning hand (sigh)
Love this captain wish I can join u and ur crew and get passport stamp collection but pandemic would be hard to travel I’m a big plane fan I flew in flight sim over 500 hours on FS2020 lol during lock down even I bought whole new computer for flying my dream is to fly any aircraft I have FS2004 FSX and now FS2020 lol
He wouldn't be performing the walkaround if he wasn't the pilot. Not unless they are forcing cabin crew to perform that job. Everything okay out on the plane sheila, yes. Er, okay I'm happy with that.
I get that a walkaround is good but is there someone that looks at the upper half of the plane? Ground crew are only able to see the lower half of everything.
If the previous crew writes up about a possible lightning strike, then the maintenance would check the upper surface of the wings. Also, if it is icing conditions, the flight crew would also inspect with upper surface to evaluate the necessity of de-icing and anti-icing. In case of de-icing and anti-icing, the flight crew would check the control surfaces and upper surface of the wings just before the takeoff.

Maintenance personnel can also do walkarounds, or basically anyone who has been taught to do it.
