Thank you brother for the very helpful video! When you tighten the filter cap how many turns and if a torque wrench how many clicks when tight? The video cut off before you were done tightening it
So I went ahead with the change using the kit. The fuel line out the bottom is the only thing different. That line now feeds from a spot about half-way up the housing so it doesn't need to be removed. So you will not need the 13/16th socket or the new plug receptacle in the kit. Also, be sure to wear PPE with safety glasses or goggles when removing the old filter because when it finally "pops" out the housing fuel goes everywhere. Ask me how I know...
Parcero saludos, la médica del oil wrench dices que es 86mm 14 flautas, pero lo busco y los de 86 traen 16 flautas, pudo haberse equivocado en las medidas? Podría confirmar l medida, gracias

For anyone wondering the torque spec is 25nM or 18 lbs-ft
Very informative thank you. Do you know how to check transmission fluid level?
Thanks for giving the tool sizes.

Bro i just go by ear, for sure there is a torque spec but i don’t know it. Don’t apply to much force because this is plastic parts
25nM or 18 lbs ft
Great video! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Have you done a transmission oil change on your van? I got a 2023 MB Sprinter and I want to do it myself
Strange my 2024 doesn’t have a hose coming out of the bottom like yours does.
Mine either. Were you still able to change the filter? What else is diffrent?

What’s the recommend service interval?
20k miles or every year. Whichever comes first
Every 10-15k because we drive OTR, and is better to prevent any damage. The book says every 20k but that’s too much. (This is my personal opinion)
why are u changing it so early? u can go 100-200k miles until the computer 🖥️ says
Mercedes Benz requires it to be changed every 20k miles.
Not on these new ones. First change is at 27500 kms and thats also for oil@@unclepeanut15
@@brettpike1 For the United States it’s every 20,000 miles.
Oil change every 10-14k if u want it to run over 100k
