Obviously this exploration didn't go according to plan, and a lot of things didn't work out the way we wanted to. The gopro footage of the encounter with the owner was lost unfortunately, so all we had to work with was the video from the 80D. The voice over quality wasn't the greatest either, but we're still trying to get better at repairing audio and delivering you the best experience we can. Thanks again for everyone that tuned in to the season finale, we're gonna take a bit of a hiatus to improve our skills, but we'll be back with some amazing content for all of you to enjoy. Thanks again for all of your support.
Up on top of the North Boiler, (#1) there is a large valve from a 1935 steam line addition. It has its country's of origins symbol raised on the valve body on the west side...a huge swastika.
I see that a part of India puts their holy symbol, (Swastika) on machinery. I never could understand why Germany thought that symbol was who they were. I never saw a Church with that symbol and not the Greek Cross or a similar Christian Cross. I noticed Catholic Hospitals, fall to Protestant to Espiscopal to Shands. No where to bring me since I am a Catholic and they have intruders with the Pope at the Vatican no longer connected, they no longer have any original charter to get involved with us.
I explored this place back in August. Me and my urbex partner Lex got startled when we heard other people in the building. We thought we were doomed but to only find out it was just other urban explorers
I was either in this building in 1998 or the one that is pictured at 8:42, good times, not recommended to go at night as the floors were rotted/ gaping holes and such, how did you guys deduce that he was the owner as opposed to a random dude asking you one question?
Good question! We lost all of our GoPro footage of the exploration and the encounter. (Which is why this entire video is strictly DSLR footage) It got corrupted during a file transfer from the SD card, which is unfortunate because it was a funny/tense situation in hindsight. After exiting the building, he told us the cops were on the way, and that he was the owner and asked us to show him where we got in, where he then proceeded to start boarding up our entrance. He then angrily told us to leave immediately. Could it have been a random person lying to us? Possibly, but very unlikely, and we weren't about to stick around and call him on his bluff. Thanks for commenting, and thanks for watching!
Saw your comment lmao guessing you got in anyway, you park in one of the parking lots right off the bridge you then walk on the side walk closest to the plant then on your right where the plant is you’ll see a graffiti’d door it’s locked you go to the door and to the right there’s a fence with a whole go through the hole and climb onto the side of the building then boom you’re basically on top of it and walk across the little bridge and you’re on the main plant.
Apollo XBL yea security only triggers if you go in through the gate under the fence and sometimes their are random retard guards walking at the bottom but at long as you go the way i told you and stay on top of the plant you’re fine

About 1950 went on a grade school tour of this assembly. Dug sand for windows out of tunnels under the plant.
The lillydale caves!

That is always super nerve wracking. Thanks for the comment!

That sound that starts at about 22:00 is absofuckinglutely horrible.
for real why even add that lmao
If you are interested my dad worked in the Ford Steam Plant for over 10 years, he could tell you all you want to know about it.
I'd ask if it would be okay to make a video of questions to post on your channel. I would love to hear about it
I would have had a philosophical argument about his use of "I'm gonna have to call the police", on so many levels.

They have sealed up the ways in recently. They really put in some work to do this.
Yeah I was just there the entrance from the fence got covered. It’s too bad
did you add that weird tone to the audio? at 21:00
yeah it's totally edited in lol. why
24:23 you can see a sharingan on the door
Don't worry that wasn't asbestos lol. Great footage of the place!
