    Just used this method to sharpen my blades. Dog leash method worked great. To reinstall the deck I used a wooden stake under the deck for leverage to help lift and line up the deck holes. If you have trouble getting the blades off apply heat to the bolt using a torch.

    You don't have to take the deck off. Lol. Raise the front up ,

    The video was awesome. Followed you to the letter (even bought an impact wrench). Thank you for making an Aussie version of instructions for this mower.
    Do you have a video to show belt replacement on same mower?

    That was brilliant thank you so much!!! I struggled to get the blades off but then I bought an impact drill and wow so easy! Loved the dog collar bit.

    Crikey that seems easy...but your cold winter's seem to be 50 degrees Celsius warmer than mine...so I'll do it early spring or late fall.

    Brilliant! I've over tightened the bus with an impact driver. Word of warning

    Excellent but I usually jack the front of the mower and replace without removing the deck.

    The trick using the belt to remove and reinstall the deck belt involving the PTO worked perfectly. No more pinched or crushed fingers. Quick and easy. Thanks.

    Or just jack the front end up and be done with it

    • @PracticalPrimate
      @PracticalPrimate  2 роки тому +1

      Sure can Josh. Depending on the jack/stands some won’t have enough room for the impact driver.

      This is the way I've done it, just use a lift, raise the deck up, and work from underneath.

    I hate following manuals, fantastic to watch your videos, I am awaiting my first Cub Cadet (RZTS 46 Steering wheel) to be delivered.
    Cub Caadet should pay you for your videos, you make so much simpler!! 🙂
