My partner and I watch this several nights a week before going to bed. The more you show Japan, the more we want to travel there. Please keep making these beautiful videos with this quiet aesthetic.
Apparently there are only two types of bear in Japan and the worst bear attack was way back in the 1910s. You're honestly in bigger danger around fellow humans.
This is probably one of my bucket list if I go to Japan. I've seen beautiful photos of the famous scenery, where the train crosses the river with the beautiful background behind it. I think the scenery in autumn with the colorful leaves would also be beautiful, maybe? Thank you for the beautiful video!
This is lovely. Please note that some of the music you used is the Dance of the Sugar-Plum Fairy from The Nutcracker Suite by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. It really fits the snowy scenery!
Thanks, Kuga-San. I rode this line several years ago in the Autumn. The tree colors are beautiful The Tobu-Yagen-Aizu Railways line north to Aizu-Wakamatsu also is beautiful in Autumn and Winter.
What a beautiful journey to take on the train 🚂 in 🇯🇵- it would be fabulous if you was able to repeat it in the summer with the same camera angles, just a suggestion to compare the beauty. 🙏
So so pretty. Thank you for taking us along. I live in the USA. From the state of Kentucky. I love the snow and beautiful views. My dream is to ride a train one day.
I look forward to some more of these videos when spring comes. Winter is beautiful with snow, but I love the sunshine and can't wait to travel with you then!
Wow it's really amazing in winter. I have done this line a few years ago in around October all the way from Urasa to Aizu Wakamatsu (including the replacement bus ride between Tadami and Aizu Kawaguchi). And the scenery was quite fantastic already. But surely the snow made it even nicer.
I visited Aizu-wakamatsu on a Tobu package called the Samurai Train. It was really good! Asakusa to Nikko by train, then by bus to Ouchi Juku then Aizu-wakamatsu. Visiting the Samurai school and castle and returning by train. This trip from Aizu-Wakamatsu to Niigata looks great!
Beautiful! The only thing that would make it better is if the train was a good old-fashioned steam engine (my favorite kind of train). Thank you for sharing. 😊
Nice to discover this route - will have to try someday as it looks beautiful! I did the Aizu-Kinugawa-sen from Nikki all the way to AizuWakamatsu in fall years ago and it was nice but maybe not as nice as this line you shared. Arigatou!
Exceptional scenery in this video. The journey along the rivers edge was awesome it's fascinating to see the contrasts. Thanks for sharing and getting up so early. Bushyboy Oz.
So cold and crunchy out there! :-) But really pretty too. I knew I liked Japan - it's got bears !!!!! Grrrrrrr !!! The tracks look like a narrower gauge compared to the others you have ridden. Did I hear announcements in French???? Reminds me of Norway some how. I'm glad you have a warm jacket on. So beautiful. ;-) Thanks Kuga! (Wish I was there...)
Thank you myfriend that was a great ride,I do like a good DMU!! in the UK we cannot run trains if we have a wet leaf on the tracks....or different kinds of snow...🤣...
To be the driver of that train and see the stunning views everyday! Would it be possible for you to enterview a train driver? It would be very interesting to hear what they think of their job.
That was great, but I have a question. You take all of these fabulous trips and record video for your channel. Are there any other objectives like traveling salesman, or is this all just for your channel? Keep them coming! I lived in Japan for four years starting in 1970. We travelled often but it has changed a lot! Thank you.
Presumably it is diesel/electric for operating in remote areas with total electric connection capability, third rail shoe or overhead retractable arms, when operating in more urban areas.
Looks magical, thanks for this and all your videos.
Wow, thanks Lee! 🤝

@@kugastravel5180 You do make beautiful videos. I do like to binge on your videos, very relaxing. I do appreciate your subtle sense of humour🙂
Absolutely beautiful scenery, and perfect music choice. Adding to my favorites list to watch over again.
Beautiful. Putting the music from the Nutcracker Suite in was inspired! Made it feel even more like a fairy tale!
@2:47 perfect picture with a perfect background music :)
Always confidence inspiring when you see a sign warning of bears 🤣
Great chilled train ride with plenty of views, love it

@@englishatheart That's what the bears _want_ you to think. ;)

5:40 am in the snow ...that's dedication. 😁
Oh My god! A winter wonderland!

This worked on my eyes and my fascination the same way as toothpaste does on my teeth.

I think its plays in the train.
Thanks, Kuga-San. I rode this line several years ago in the Autumn. The tree colors are beautiful The Tobu-Yagen-Aizu Railways line north to Aizu-Wakamatsu also is beautiful in Autumn and Winter.
Looks like it would be a nice place to ski.
So beautiful and relaxing to watch 👍👌👀😍
Breathtaking

Thank you Kuga I just love riding with you on your travels. I thought we got a lot of snow, but I think Japan got us beat here in New Jersey.
Oh wow! That's beautiful. The winter train south from Kutchan is beautiful too.

Would like to see in summer too! Thanks
thank you sharing wonderful train journey and beautiful natural scenery congratulations
Beautiful scenery. I prefer the winter landscape to the summer one. Summer is nice, but winter has a melancholy that appeals to me.
This train ride gives you the surreal and nostalgic feeling. Thank you Kuga San.
Beautiful for winter ❄️🙂 You should come visit the West coast along California and Oregon!! Get a break from the cold 😉👍
Beautiful!
Love how the train keeps going through so much snow. In my country if it even rains the trains have a panic

It was so nice seeing a winter train ride when it is so hot here in Canada. Thank you for another great video, Kuga!
どうもありがとうございます!
The seats are so small We don’t have that much snow here. Yes I like this video
I just realised that this train left at 06:00, that is devotion, to get up so early❤️
I can only imagine what it looks like in the spring and summer.
This is a wonderful scenic ride
Wow what a amazing ride. It's really like you're in a wizarding world haha
Thankyou so much, this was sooo beautiful. I'd be living on that train. Have you thought of becom8ng a train driver?
Thanks!

It's awesome here during each season! 😁
If I ever get back to japan, I'd like to do this trip behind the steam loco.
Please travel through same route in spring or summer n show us
Could you include in your reviews handycap facilites?
I use a wheelchair and thats important to me.
You're doing a wonderful work. Thank UA-cam.

Beautiful scenery and that sign warning about bears lol - anyone got some bear spray lmao
Like a trip to Fairyland 😀
