Those hydro oil containers are just the expansion tanks. As the hydros heat up the oil will rise. Keep the oil at the lower line on those tanks or else if the oil expands too much it shoots the caps off. #wapacha
I just had this issue today, brand new mower with 0.5 hours and it would bog all that way down almost dying whenever I would engage the PTO. I called the dealer, and they said I overfilled the tanks, and I was flooding the engine. Fuel should not go above the bottle necks of the tanks because that's where the air vents are at. After mowing for some time, the issue went away. Short answer do not overfill the tanks and you won't have that issue again. Hope this help someone from a future headache.
Lawn mower issues: oil in reservoir left side over filled. Start up looking like cheap fuel. Use ou mobil or shell premium fuel in particular efi engines are more temperamental this will correct itself on its own up changing fuel in future.
Check the fuel filter even though it's new. If the filter is on backwards, it can cause the issue your having. My zk has a separate filter on each fuel tank.
I work on scag and redmax mowers when you receive it from the dealer make sure they did an oil change or do that first thing ..they sit so long that they build moisture in the oil since they never get the engine hot enough to burn it off the first oil change sometimes is double the capacity and is mostly water itll be creamy looking ..also the hydros being over full could blow some seals down in the transmissions and leak out the sides ..I didnt watch the video yet but hope this helps someone thank you
I want to see before and after when someone ceramic coats the underneath of a deck to see if grass doesn't stick as much. I've seen it in a push more and it looks promising. I know a zero turn has a way higher blade tip speed and a lot more volume.
Do you use any fuel or oil additives? If no, i can recommend 2 from past experience, that work well.. Star Tron 1ounce per 16 gallons, of gasoline, and Motor Kote, for oi, 2ounces per quart, per oil change: also,. please consider using non-ethanol fuel.in your 2-stroke engines. I am not sponsored, just passing along some wisdom.
MY mower did the same thing. It turned out to be the voltage regulator. It would drop volt almost dying out . Then spike back up. Also hard to start after be turned off. Hope this might help out.
It's not unheard of for the injector to get stuck from sitting. My guess it got stuck and after running it under a load got the injector unstuck. I'd run a injector cleaner though your next tank
We had a problem with ours turns out the rings were bad and the valves were not at the proper height or whatever. I mean it was bad like give it gas and it would take 5 seconds for it to rev up. It’s under warranty take it to the dealer. You got video it’ll pretty much tell them the problem. Ours has a Kawasaki
And it’s not the mower we got a zk with 2k hours and it’s really tight. The engine isn’t made by wright. Trust me it’s a great mower. Just has engine issues. I’d be back at the dealership as soon as it had an issue. 12k mower brand new with problems.....no bueno
I think this mower is liable under the pemon laws cause a new mower shouldn't smoke. On 1st time and also how it throtles harder and has sound of more of a 2 year semi mantisned mowers homestly i thinks should return it and just get the big boy one looked at in videos at dealerships cause wroth extra grand or 4 to investment since getting bigger lawns
Id consider that normal on a brand new engine. The rings and valve guides havent yet bedded in and dont make as tight of a seal as they should. That will clear itself up after a few hours of run time

I would check for water in the gas. That really could explan it all.

That left hydro tank is way overfilled. That line on the tank says full cold and it’s way above it.
I hope you run ethanol free premium fuel for those machines.... its better for them and your trimmers and blowers

If its gunna break its gunna do it when its brand new, niggly but easily resolved with a dealer like you have
we had this issue..it turns out to be weak coils. had both coils replaced..we though it was fuel as well..:)
I've read into the vanguard I've herd that they have week fuel pumps especially when they run completely out of gas it you have to manually prime it.

We bought a wright 36 stander and during the first 10 hours it did the same thing but it sorts it’s self out.

Sounds like it had bad gas, or some water in the gas went through the carb..... Add some fuel treatment for a tank.

Check your plugs. You could have a fouled out plug. Or something was stuck in carb. But who knows.
