This is what reviews should be. Informing what type of audience the game is for, what it does well, what it doesn't do well, and an honest opinion from the reviewer on how the game feels.
Its fine to say the game is for "hardcore sim racer fans" and players with wheels will get the most out of it, but that doesn't change the fact its an unfinished, shoddy looking game with broken A.I and horribly dated graphical errors. The amount of tweaking available is great and you can make the cars drivable, but they still don't feel weighty or responsive like they should or even like you would expect them to. Its like the whole "sim" part of the game is just an excuse for making a poor all round racing game. But some people seem to love it still so knock your socks off guys! Great review.
I'm using a wheel and I do play other sims like Assetto Corsa, Rfactor, automobilista and RaceRoom. It is not nearly as bad as you want to make it out to be. . Very few bugs actually.., yes the AI can suck at times. like 1st lap 1st corner, but its getting better and isnt that bad all in all. The feel for FFB and physics is good now and is comparable to rfactor2, AMS and raceroom in my opinion, AC has some catching up to do.
At the end of the day its all just opinions, but there were just to many little bits that made me go "wow, they left that in?" especially with regards to little graphical bugs, but....since this came out I've also acquired Forza 7 and there are just as many bugs in that such as front wheels with no turning animations, horrendous frame drops during busy on screen areas and some robotic as hell A.I. The thing I just can't get my head around is the handling in Project Cars 2, I have a real car and I've been around (even as a beginner) an actual race track and cars just don't behave like they do in this game. But if its what you enjoy then that's great, I just hope they patch some of these bugs in Forza 7 now so I can enjoy that XD Also, i will give PC2 more time, sometimes it takes me ages to get into and get the feel for a game :)
This game on Xbox is broken. Numerous people on the official Project Cars 2 forum are reporting that the game spontaneously deletes your career progress without warning. Also, there is a known bug with racing wheels that have force feedback. The wheel violently shakes when driving straight down the road, rendering play with a wheel impossible. Also reported on the official forums, and the moderators say the game developers are working on a patch. No eta. Buyer beware.
i just cant get on board with how bad these games play on controller and cant be bothered to spend all the money on the game and a decent wheel setup (that shit is expensive as fuck, look into it, it will blow your mind)

Good Review Maka
Nice review, thanks.
I can't figure out how to start the game, I can get to the screen where you set all the options, but I can't get to Career or Quick Race....WTH?

It's on my list as a maybe at the moment. Have tried it out at events and it's quite similar to Project Cars 2 actually. Will try my best!
