+Dave “daddyesq” K I can describe it--they are both freaking BREATHTAKING. Like, the artist really hits that old-timey, purple mountains majesty vibe in a great way. Totally agree.
I must say this looks fantastic! Lewis & Clark was interesting, but didn't have the "right" feel for me. But now with dice allocation/manipulation... it really makes me excited.
Thanks guys for your awesome review. Adding this one eventually to my collection. I just saw it yesterday at my local shop. Was wondering about it. Now I know what to do! ;) :D
I didn't really liked Nations the dice game much. But i would like to try this one out. As it is slower and preparation takes a few turns. Nations is a bit too rushed for me.
This game seems similar to roll for the galaxy which I love, but I'm not convinced on this theme for Lewis and Clark, seems a bit boring to me. Thanks for the review guys!
Forgive me if you guys already answered this question and I missed it, but are you guys going to do a second Star Wars Armada review with the expansions, and if so when do you expect to do it?
I think it's better than Lewis and Clark. Much more tense and no runaway leader tension killer where you kmow who's winning like five turns before fhe game ends.
I just read my own comment two years later and I miss Lewis and Clark. This is def more streamlined which I enjoy tremendously, but I got carried away with my original comment. Lewis and clark is the better game, however I agree with Zee on player count. Amazing 2 player game. Am buyng it again.
I actually don't like it that well either. I liked the idea of it, some of the different game mechanics I hadn't played before. But I was disappointed when I actually played it. Might give a few more plays, but the first two weren't very appealing.
I can't describe it, but this game and Lewis and Clark have my favorite game art.

cards should always be facing the same way anyhow Tom!! ALWAYS!!!
I play in a game group that is pathologically unable to keep deck facings right. Drives me bats**t. Does wonders for my OCD when re-packing games. :)
+Errol Wilde Your OCD makes me feel better about my own. Thank you :)
Never tried Lewis and Clark, but I like this one so much I feel a need to give that a try.

I just goit it a few days ago. Played twice today and it's a definite contender for my top 10 of 2015. Excellent game.
Discoveries was by far my favorite game from Gencon. I even demoed it twice :) Can't wait to get it.

Where is the guy who complains about Zee? He is late.
Dude can't even be punctual. His credibility just went out the window.
+HunterThomason After he got called out during the live Q & A, he probably got the hint.
Zee is the man! Haters gonna hate. I love what all of the Dice Tower team bring to the table.
They're chortling at this guy, and he takes it as a compliment. Got some wires crossed.

You should try it. Looked boring to me at first, played it today and loved it.
This game reminds me a lot of Roll for the Galaxy.
I thought the dice felt like those cheap light wood ones that are painted and not colored plastic. I wouldn’t call them great.

The game is all aesthetics. Fairly dull and feels like a non-game. I got bored in the middle of my first play.
