- This has been my wife's favorite dessert flavor combo as of the last few years and I decided to try something new with a "Tiramisu" sort of twist and I would love to know what you all think! Ingredients:
6-8 Italian Lady Fingers
1 tbsp matcha powder (plus extra for dusting)
1/4 cup water
4 tbsp sugar
Mascarpone Cream:
4 tbsp mascarpone cheese
1 cup cream
5 tbsp powder sugar
1 tsp Vanilla bean or Paste
2 tbsp brown sugar

That is gorgeous! I’d have to go a different direction, fruit-wise, as I’m allergic to strawberries, but it looks quite adaptable. I’ve never given any thought to a fruit-centric tiramisu since the traditional tiramisu is the world’s greatest dessert, but I like the idea of matcha and fruit flavors combined with the ladyfingers and mascarpone base.
