Didi I am new in this journey I need your help * I am 3rd yr English hons student want to do MBA by qualifying CAT exam * I was a neet (medical entrance) exam aspirant till now but I couldn't perform well there now I quit that stream because I already aged 22 this year and I can't waste more years as medical degree itself take 8 year time to get settled and( I am ill already ) * I have a major concern that I don't have any extra ordinary talent or something that is needed for CV and all I have only academic background no work experience no skills will it effect further??? *please address my concern I will be thankful enough if you do so 🙏
Hey Priya, you don't need any extraordinary achievements to make it to a good MBA college. The selection committee is interested in understanding your inclination to pursue MBA and what all you've done in school and college - it can be your academic performance, knowledge, qualities like determination, courage, doesn't necessarily have to be any particular achievment.
IMI Bhubaneswar has secured 67th rank and they just have launched their first AICTE approved online PGDM. This is golden opportunity because in this pgdm there will be no mention of online in certificate.
Hello, I could sail through CAT 23 with 93 percentile, due to your videos and hardwork. Everything helped lift myself up from the sphere of demotivation, stress and bad mock scores! I could also convert a few CAP IIMs as well, but I decided to drop for just one more year to give it my all to get into better institutions, just for one last time. I even left my job of 36+ months, to give it my all to this exam for one last time. At the start of the year, I had full motivation and joy of giving it all, however as I see myself now, some months down the line, things have started to go slow. In the sense, I have been procrastinating a lot, shifting RCs to read the next day, solving DILR sets just for the sake of it with no inherent interest. I solve around 3 sets a day, but still feel empty and have no motivation throughout. Mock percentiles have been in the range of 90+ but there's no satisfaction but proper exhaustion. Attempting mocks just for the sake of it. Altogether, I seem to find no joy in preparing, even though I can see the growth, and it breaks my heart to see how self sabotaging I have become through procrastination that I do not wish to take the leap. It's just that I am doing for the sake of doing it. Honestly, I still dream of a good MBA degree from a good college. However, I feel very lethargic, and tired. It is going to be my third year and third attempt, and hopefully, my last attempt, but I still cannot sit down and give my best to the exam I have been dedicated towards. Your videos have always worked wonders for me, and I see and try to follow all of them, but maybe a talk with you, or an email reply from you would do more help. It's a whole set of lack of motivation, tiredness and guilt that has been overpowering me.
Understand that you need to be I discipline..... discipline builds confident confident builds motivation or if your purpose is great then you will do it no matter what. Or leave that comfort zone it makes you like that.
@themightycap1065 - first of all, congratulations on a great score last year and the possible converts. My father always said when I was a CAT aspirant that there's not much difference between a 90 percentiler and a 99 percentiler, it is only a matter of finding where the issue is. From what it seems, the issue you're facing is that of fighting with your mind. Your mind doesn't want to cooperate and you're exhausting it even further by forcing it to study. From my experience both with studies and with making videos, you need to respect your mind to let it do its job. It is a powerful tool, but when overused, it can cause havoc in our lives. What does respecting it mean - listen to what it's telling you. It doesn't feel like studying today - alright, give up, do what it feels like doing. The best part about our mind is that it works for us. There will come a time when it will automatically tell you - now I am refreshed, let's go and study. It will inspire you to sit for hours, solve sets like you never have, give you the motivation to keep going, create imaginative visuals for you, help you ace your mocks. All this is only possible if you first respect your body and mind, listen to what they're telling you and they'll listen to you then. I know what I'm telling you may sound counterproductive, it may even not make sense because we've always been told to be self-disciplined. It is nothing more than torture for our mind. It is anyway not letting you feel okay, isn't it? Might as well enjoy while you're procrastinating so that it returns the favour when it's time to study. Try this - try listening to it and it will listen to you as well. You'll befriend it like anything. I'm speaking from personal experience, my mind has never let me down.
Hey guys, sorry I haven't been able to respond to all of your comments in the previous videos, I'm skipping 1 video upload this week to reply to them. Thanks for your patience and hope you're all doing greatttt ❤
Hii shweta ji hope you're doing well. It's a request and i wanted to hear from you to make a dedicated video on SBI PO exam. Do some research and tell us about everything pro's and cons. Thankyou
Thank you maam for your video I have a question ✋ What about practical experience? Do online MBA platforms provide internship or practical training? Because without practical knowledge how can we able to do work in MNC's or Normal companies after completing MBA
Shweta could you suggest some better ways to show a career gap of 4 yrs after college internship due to family reasons in upcoming interview or building resume to increase our chances of getting selected ?
Main thing is placements, i think only 10 percents are working professional and rest 90 percents are facing restrictions for going outside. But please dont make any opinion because reality is far far different than advices, study with good intent and focus on main content, then job is a easiest way to go with.

Madam, first you need to learn something, Part-time courses are regular courses and content-wise similar to full-time courses. and maximum Part-Time courses are conducted weekly or evenings. And as per UGC definition, part-time courses are regular courses. So it is better than online and distance courses. First, you should learn properly then make a video.
Hey! First of all kudos to your work! Your videos are helping me immensely. Can you please provide some insight on how to build a profile for UPSC converts and how can we justify our year gap in the interview? It would be great if you can connect us to some seniors with similar journeys. Thanks a lot
Congratulations on the amazing feat! You will not need to build a strong profile because you invested your gap years doing something that requires time. I had many batchmates at IIM Ahmedabad with 3-4 years of gap due to UPSC preparation, some of them couldn't clear prelims also. It is perfectly alright, the interviewers will only want to understand what went right/wrong in your preparation, what you learnt and why the decision to do what you're headed to do now.
Hi Shweta, What is difference between MBA online duration of 1 yr and 2 yr and Which is recommendable by you for 5+ yrs experienced candidates in IT industry?
1 year MBA AKA "Executive MBA", is normally for those who have 5-7 years of WorkEX in a particular field and looking to get into managerial position and earn more qualification. 2 year MBA is for freshers and for those who want to work and earn a degree parallelly, i hope this answers you question let me know if i want not clear.
Dii I have been watching your videos for a year and you are literally amazing. I want you to make videos on the offline course of Financial Modelling and Valuation. It will be a great help ☺️ Thank you in advance and for always.❤
For doubt you had recommended some telegram and facebook group in your sheet.Does any WhatsApp group like this to ask question when stuck in preparation for cat exam? In telegram, account is restricted for send message. And not know how to use facebook.
I do not want placement...In want to learn finance, Marketing, connection build with customers.....thats why I will take admission..... Because I want to do Business
Hey shweta, i really appreciate your content it has help me in more ways that I can even tell you, so thank you for that keep up with the goof work. I recently check your video about how to choose a coaching institute for yourself however, in your survey pdf i see multiple options and although it has help me greatly to evaluate for my use case, I'd really appreciate if you can make a video about budget friendly cat online coaching (especially friendly for people who are working full-time) and pros and cons for the same.
Hi shweta ! Love your videos ! Each video you post has so much valuable information. It has really helped me to prepare for the exams as well as stay motivated for the same time. My only query is if you could prepare a similar preparation video for SNAP and NMAT preparations. It would be so helpful ! Thanks in advance :)
IMI Bhubaneswar has secured 67th rank and they just have launched their first AICTE approved online PGDM. This is golden opportunity because in this pgdm there will be no mention of online in certificate.
Third time asking this.... hopefully will get a reply this time. If preparing for DI from Arun Sharma, covering till LOD2 enough, or one must also cover LOD3
Hello Shweta, I have a popular video demand for MBA aspirants. Please consider making a detailed video on how to fill your work experience in cat form and present it in the interview for aspirants working in a family business, sole proprietorship, or Start ups and for aspirants who have established their own companies brands, and businesses. What are the documents required to establish the same and how does it look on your profile
Copying this from IIM Calcutta's official website: The work experience claimed by the candidate must be supported by a letter from the employer(s) with authorized signatory on company letterhead stating the start date, end date, position/designation, and a brief description of the role/responsibility. It is necessary to submit the payslip(s) from each employer(s). For self-employed and family businesses, proof of company registration/relevant licenses/taxes paid are to be furnished in case payslip is not available. The interviewers as well as the recruiters are interested in what you did, what you learnt and the impact you were able to create. When you mention work-experience on your resume or in interview form, the emphasis is on numbers and skills/tools. Numbers like the size of the company/projects, percentage reduction/improvement in key metrics. Popular brand names or stakeholders worked with/served.
Di, I am your new subscriber actually mujhe jaana tha ki apne undergraduation kai time koi intership kiya tha online . Mujhe intership krna koi bhi bba feild sai plz recommend which one should be good for me
Hi di ! I know there's lot to do but in case you are reading this, I just wanted to thankyou. A big thanks from me and from all of us. I myself is a student from a small town Patiala and due to my 12th percentage which was 86.4 and even not a great percentile in CUET I was unable to get admitted in a great college like as of in Delhi or some other metropolitan city. I felt very disheartened. My parents tried to encourage me. I'm actually a very confident and active student in academics and in co curricular activities as well, but after this point I started loosing my confidence and doubting my self. Nevertheless I took admission in Multani Mal Modi College Patiala and doing BBA, it's a local College here affiliated to The Punjabi University. To be honest I had a dream of studying in a great College having that exposure and opportunities which I know I'm not ever gonna have here. Nobody is there to guide me on this because nobody has that MBA or business background in my family, my father was in defence and now an employee in government services and my mother is a homemaker. So I just use to search some vedios regarding MBA and all, there I found your channel. I subscribed it in Oct 2022 and by that time I'm connected to you. I watch your vedios and get informed about many things. I did that course offered by IIM's told by you only. Now as we have passed our 1st year we are given 2 months of holidays and I wanted to utilize it by doing certain courses to build skills so that further I could apply for some gud internships too. So I just went to that playlist section and started watching your "Skill Development" playlist. I have made notes saved every playlist you attached in description subscribed every channel you suggested and all. I talked to my father about all this that I'll be doing these things in these holidays and all. After scrolling some more vedios eventually I started crying I don't know exactly for what reason, but I was happy. I was able to see a light and lots of motivation. By the time I have subscribed you day by day I feel like I'm regaining my confidence which was somewhere left behind. I feel more strategic, to a straight direction and on a right path. All I want to say is I don't know if you wouldn't have been there what I would I have done. As you said in some vedio that you were the first doing MBA in your family and one of your motivation was that one day you could be inspiration for someone, so I can't say bhagwan but yeah you have truly been that inspiration you ever thought of. When you told that SRCC thing and your words were " Jo hua Acha hua now when I look back I know it not even matters and i thing that's what made me do 3 time more hardwork and so I got into IIMA " I felt like yr if she can do why can't I. I don't know if u r able to understand my nerve but I really hope you do. I don't text this long usually but today I had an urge to thank you for the difference you made to me. And I'm really thankfull. Whenever I'll get successful I will surely get to you for all this you are doing for all of us and whenever someone would ask me who motivated you for this, your name will be on no. 1 in my priority list I'll be the happiest person and will proudly say it was Shweta Di. Thankyou so much ❣️
Hii I. Am ur new subscriber Currently I am pursuing my ug in maths stream . I finished my digital marketing course by Google and account and finance by OXFORD home study centre.....is it enough fot iims? Or Suggest me some course:)
Hii Shweta Ma'am, first of all thank you so much for your efforts in helping many students. I started watching your videos when I came across your channel, recently. I have a few queries on how to move forward in my career. I really hope you could give me some guidance. It would be so helpful! Thanks in advance. I have recently (May 2023) completed my UG in Arts degree (Bachelor of Arts) (and on top of that I don't have Maths in my 11th and 12th) and am preparing for CAT 2023 by taking a gap year. I recently came to know that internships are required, and I haven't done any internships till now. I got to know on how to try to get internships after watching your videos, but my problem here is that I couldn't choose a field (Marketing, Finance, HR, etc.,) for doing my internship. And with my family conditions, I am restricted to online internship only. I know that it may sound a bit silly, but I really am not knowing what to do. It feels like a dead end to me. And also, I have the fear of my communication skills and I'm an introvert and don't really know how to get socialised. I don't have any achievements or extra talents (even in my college) to show in my resume. All I have is that a good academic performance. Despite all of these issues, I really wanted to pursue MBA in my dream college. But I sometimes feel like losing hope. Please help me of what I should do. I hope my queries (comment) look genuine and you would spare me some time. I would be very grateful. Thank you.
Hi Shweta, I need your input on how to analyze the VARC section. I can analyze LRDI & Quant, but VARC is mind-boggling. I'm not understanding where am I going wrong and how to improve the score. From the past 10 sectional tests, I have been scoring max 30 marks only.
Hiii shweta ma'am, you really inspire me a lot.. Plz can u tell me one thing IMS or STUDYBUZZ or PERCENTILERS????? for cat online coaching (live classes plus recorded lectures of the syllabus must include)

Hii Shweta ! Once again I just wanted to ask one last question which will clear all my doubts regarding my preparation .The daily routine u shared with us is good bt I wanted to know that it covers only LOD1 then when we will practice LOD2 like after the completion of syllabus in September. Please answer
Hey, I am so sorry I missed replying to your earlier comments. When you're done with LOD 1 or basics by September and you'll be taking mocks almost every week. When you take a mock, you'll realise your topic x is weak, then you will need more questions to practice, that's when you use LOD 2 questions. LOD 3 isn't required as it is not at par with the CAT level.
Hey Mam I am about to starting my preparation for CAT and don't have any knowledge source except from UA-cam . I have query that is FMS and XLRI really offers better package than IIM. Please reply 🙏

Good evening mam. Mam for LRDI i am preparing from elites grid youtube playlist which has 234 videos, many different sets are solved there. Is this the right strategy to go about because i am not solving any coaching booklet. I will be solving previous year question papers and mock tests after completing the videos. Will this be enough for CAT?

Hey there Shweta❤ Hope you are well, I want to know about gradup mba programs I have talked to their counselors twice 5 months back. People are taking their executive mba courses I have seen the list, one of them were working in kpmg , I didn't believe it 😂 But now you took this topic of online mba , I please tell us about gradup courses too
Hey! I'm not sure but are you referring to UpGrad MBA programs? I had a friend working in UpGrad so I had checked with her regarding this, she said the programs are good enough from learning perspective but as mentioned in this video also the placements aren't at par with offline MBA programs in most online MBA programs.

If we dedicate a whole month of August just for DILR preparation from scratch......is it enough ???

From which university you passed out your PGDM or MBA?
Hi If we already did mba in distance from local college can we again do online mba program from different stream?
Thank you.
What are you doing now?
Hi Shweta, I need your input on how to analyze the VARC section. I can analyze LRDI & Quant, but VARC is mind-boggling. I'm not understanding where am I going wrong and how to improve the score. From the past 10 sectional tests, I have been scoring max 30 marks only.
