- In this video I discuss five way you can really make your golden Years more golden. Retirement is a difficult transition, and the biggest problems are productively filling your time and feeling useful. I think changing your mindset is the most important thing, as well as trying new things. #retiring #goldenyears #howtobehappy #fightingdepression #depression
Rosie, "thank you " for this. I am a 78 yr old gal living in South North Carolina. I too often get into a "funk" and have trouble getting out of it. I needed these reminders and there you were ! Just love ya and we all need to hear this good advice. I pray your day is full of blessings and all the "good stuff" you deserve. Nancy, Leland N.C.
I haven't hit retirement yet but you definitely hit the nail on the head about readjusting once the last child leaves home. That was hard. I've always adored you, Rosie.🥰 You never fail to give us great advice.
Love your shirt
Love you Rosie… hope your feeling better 😊

Rosie....there's something I was just newly introduced to but it's an OLDIE but GOODIE. It's called Grounding/Earthing. You just put your barefeet on the ground (dirt, grass, sand, concrete, brick...anything conductive). The Earth's electrons will connect to your body. As we stopped "grounding/earthing" with wearing rubber sole shoes....our bodies have inflammation now which causes SO many chronic illnesses. I will vlog my experience with this as it is life changing. I also bought grounding mats on Amazon so I can sleep with these. My anxiety is gone, my sleep is amazing, my hot flashes are gone, my skin looks better, my mind if not fogged, it's crazy ass. But you can do this just by connecting to the Earth and walking barefoot on conductive surfaces. Wet grass is the best or wet ocean sand. But since I live near Las Vegas....I just put my barefeet on my sidewalk. IT WORKS! Just 15 minutes at least a day. Look it up...there's scientific evidence on it. I am just so excited to share this with everyone. It heals. Your body goes into homeostasis. Okay...enough talk. ;)
I'm happy to retire too. Don't miss working at all. Thanks for the advice. I got rid of some chairs so i wouldn't sit down. Working on house projects now and walkin the hood.
Rosie, excellent advice & ty 4 being u 😘 ❤
I retired at 56 four years ago when I got laid off. It is hard to push myself to get things done since I can do it whenever I get around to it. No rush because I don't have to go back to work on Monday. My new hobby is stereo repair. That's how I came across your channel. I fix for myself and now for others. Sometimes it stresses me out though when repairs go wrong (and it happens no matter how good you are). I also need to sell some equipment. It starts to accumulate.
I started paddle boarding naked at my local lakes but the rangers arrested me, said I wasn't allowed to do that sort of thing and I replied it makes me feel free and young again & also some UA-camr told me to try something new.
I wish I had done some of the things on my bucket list before I lost both kidneys and sm now on dialysis 3x a week .... but you know what ? My social worker will set up everything for me at dialysis centers wherever I want to visit .
Exactly Rosie spot on 👍
Ty
Love you sweetie ❤😘❤
For the murder that took place in North Korea by Leader Kim, to whom my cousin only went for a tourist trip and was in a square, they caught him in the act together with the Korean Police and the dictator who cut off my cousin's head and in front of everyone they approved this death think they agreed with Kim because according to his version my cousin for Korea is a murderer but instead no we are receiving threats from Korea from my family to kill us and they want to destroy my family but I now heard from Giorgia Meloni who seemed quite shocked and was destroyed by what I said, I should absolutely hear from the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella but I wanted justice for my cousin and instead a plaque was placed in the square where my cousin was killed cousin, we never have justice meanwhile we live in pain but we are angry at the constant threats that Kim brings us from my family 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Great advice Rosie. I'm 60, turning 61 in February. Still working full-time but considering part-time retirement at 62 vs 65. Plenty to keep me busy; hiking, gym, coin collecting, granddaughter. Life is good...
Life costs too much to retire. You have to keep working just to pay your $4,500 a month rent.

My grandpa lived till 99 because he always kept moving. Unfortunately, cancer took him. But he was in great shape up until that point. Even while in bed he did not want to stay still,he still drove his car to the supermarket down the street, about 1 1/2 blocks away, in Puerto Rico. ❤He would lift up his make shift weights,he had made out of cinder blocks hee hee. Anyways, much love to you. Also, I need to call you, been super busy.❤😘
Don't be depressed, buy an old sports car!
