I bought a bunch of stems a couple weeks ago. The bottle idea is great. Though I used a rooting hormone and then stuck them in a large pot. Really looking for these stems to root and grow as fast as everyone says they do. Great video...... Had to Like, Sub and Save!

Thank you. I have Virginia creeper growing where there once was a trellis. A friend mentioned they were looking for some, so I am going to dig it up to give to her. Judging by your video, it seems like a hardy plant, so just digging it up and putting it in a plastic bag to give to her should be okay, hopefully.

Hello from Cleveland, OH. I read below you recommend doing this in February or March. I would think active growth season wouldn’t begin until Spring. Also for little pieces in sides are you able pull out of little holes and not destroy new root growth? Thanks!

I did in March and growth start in may. And I make bigger holes and then pull out

Where do you first cut or take initial clipping from the mother plant, in the ground or aerial part of plant? Thanks again!
