Listen I want to say thank you to Mike hall for saving so many cars and trucks that can be resurrected and enjoyed for many many years this man is a LEGEND and the camera guy is mint love from woody in westlock
YO MATT KEEP DOING YOU! Thanks for being the man behind the camera! Thanks for filming the content! Also thanks for asking about the unibody question at speed tech!
Our first CNC machines were run by vinyl punch tapes. Eventually, the programming department went fully computerized and I got to run the cables and wires across the street to connect all five units, so they could be programmed on the fly. No more piles of little blue dots everywhere! We had to up-grade because we made parts for the Space Shuttle and major airlines, and they demanded fast turn-around on orders... So odd to see such advanced equipment being used to make car parts! 😲
Man blue sky mountain that's looks beautiful love it.👍.stopping for ⛽️all filled up.Going to see the Hoover damn Mike you are choking the chicken not yours 😂😂😂.
Thank you Speed Tech for being a gracious host to our guys. Really love what your doing. Pretty amazing even how far CNC has come in such a short time. Interchanging bits means now it doesn’t take all day to make these by having to manually do it over and over. Thanks Matt and Mike for a very enjoyable segment. I feel the connection through love of cars, history, and modern advances. We should give high respect to those before us that make this modern changes and upgrades possible, and the lives lost on the Hoover dam. I’m grateful for their efforts to give to the whole of North America and Canada. Mike your respect for those lost is not lost on me. Thank you.
thanx for a great comment the technology is pretty amazing and we should give thanx to the sacrifices made by our forefathers or we woukd still be living in the dark . our generation has had the best run in the history of the planet
I gotta say Mike when you said we don't make things in Canada anymore I instantly went to my 2003 silverado SS and my 2001 WS6 trans am. They were built in Canada and so well built. Vin starts with a 2 so that means built in Canada. Proud to be owning them here in the US after all these yrs.

Love all this engineering from milling debuting CNC and then putting all the aluminium shavings into a a spinning bin type to drain all the oil off then onto recycling money in that then off to plating shame we've gotten rid of most of our industry to the fat east 🥺🤔

That arch bridge was being built when I was there at the Hoover dam about 15 years ago. At that point the only way across was over the dam.

We visited Vegas and the Hoover dam in 2002 when lake mead was full😮 it’s an amazing structure. I don’t remember any security check back then.
