It's one of the 3 parts Probably the clutch. But I could one of the other 2 parts in the video It's one of the 3 maybe even all of them Clutch Clutch Actuator Gear Selector I'd do them in that Order This car would not start like your car aswell

Hi , I have a Skoda citigo same semi auto transmission and the car not going in gear and can smell burning smells as well. Really bad, I get code PO894 transmission components slipping and P278700 clutch temperature too high. What will be my problem and do I need a new gearbox ?
It's hard to say over the Internet but I'd say your clutch is going might need the parts that are in the video. If I was doing one again I'd start with the clutch. Then move on to Actuator
Hey bud have a 2014 vw up with semi automatic gearbox had clutch replacement and now car wont start its flashing n and red gear on using vcds to do basic settings but its saying error due to malfunction what to do?
Hi it could be the clutch itself. It's just a normal clutch. We ended up fitting one in this car. The clutch disc was just a little bit worn out, not slipping or anything

Hello buddy, so I took the gear box out and when putting it back, it won’t align with the engine, so I took the actuator out and it fitted just right, now how do I get the actuator back in. Do I have to put it in assemble mode with the OBD ?
Hallo mine in one of the selector motor when you just switch the engine on, m it moves in one direction and the motor is fully powered until it over heats, what could be the problem 🙏
It's probably the clutch that's gone. It has a normal clutch kit same as a manual the gearbox is easy to get out. I ended up doing the clutch on this car. It got better after I fit the actuator for a few weeks and not so much with the gear actuator. I got add voice from a gearbox shop they normally do a combination of 3. Hope this helps
It wasn't going into gear especially on cold start but it was random. Generally if the clutch is going it will be hard to get into reverse as there is no synchromesh on the reverse gear so it will crunch into reverse. This is very close to the end of your clutch life days or weeks. This goes for most manual box's. It could be the clutch actuator but it's normally the clutch disc worn out . Put car in 4th gear (might be hard to do) At the lowest rpm/ speed you can go and gun it see if the rpm shoot up and speed don't match the clutch is slipping If that makes sense
Hello, can Volkswagen's asg gearbox be changed into a manual gearbox with some parts? It looks like the asg gearbox is very similar to the manual gearbox.
I've never done it I'd say yes BUT you could run into some problems with the ecu /wiring end . I'd fix it up, etc and sell it and just buy a manual alot easier If you do swap it out let me know how you get on thanks
Rubbish design. Why VW didn't just install a torque-converter gearbox? I'll admit the 3-cylinder engine would need a re-map. But an automated-manual is just asking for trouble after 5 years' use.

I'd say the clutch is gone. It's a normal clutch you have in a manual so should be to costly

Mate we have one in wont start say clutch no basic settings except it will run basic setting function and pass no problem . Were in Ireland are u

Iv a fault with same gearbox Did u ever come across the fault friction element A stuck on. Basically crunches reverse badly everytime
