- Der Stummfilm ist seit dem Erfolg von "The Artist" wieder in aller Munde. Zu Recht !!
Hier ein Ausschnitt, über den ich als Kind schon gelacht habe.
Seinen Reiz hat es über die Jahrzehnte nicht verloren. Im Gegenteil !
Der Originaltitel ist "Double Whoopee". In Deutschland hieß der Film von 1929 "Der Prinz im Fahrstuhlschacht" - Фільми й анімація
Ich erinnere mich noch gerne an die Zeit zurück. Sonntag s,für 0,50Pf ins Kino Dick u. Doof gucken. Es war damals ein besonders schöner Tag. Geh heute mal ins Kino bei den Preisen. Da vergeht einem das Lachen.
ich bin mittlerweile richtig stolz mit diesen beiden groß geworden zu sein und sie gekannt (nicht persönlich) zu haben......ich lache heute mit den beiden noch tränen wenn ich einen schlechten tag hatte eine DVD der beiden in den recorder und einfach abschalten

Goodness! I grew up.with them lot...watching with my dad on the telly in his Bar. I was, me thinks, definetely under ten years of age when I first watched them on TV...memories...

Tremendous... Just without any speech to get a small story with such roaring laughter. 'truly were are people laughing today... Stan and Hardy.. Great.. Even all the others in the cast Just sync so well...
Well so amazed almost hundred years ago these films are so perfectly preserved looks it enhanced. Pictures of nice and sharp. The whole scene was Jean Harlow being escorted in and all the shenanigans after that is fantastic.. I don't like the whistle routine with the cabbie comes and looks pissed at the two. And he starts with the tear-off routine. The cabby should have gotten so pissed, he should get a life. And the timing of all the other characters in the hotel is so so funny. Thanks so much for posting this I appreciate it
