- Overview video detailing my completed QueenAnt Pro V2 CNC Router from YuYong Industries controlled by a Masso G3 Touch motion controller and user interface. My particular version is the 1,500mm X 1,500mm rails with 240V 2.2kW Water-cooled ER20 Spindle and Haunyang VFD. The QueenAnt lives on my own designed custom mobile cart made out of 3/4" MDF. The cart is essentially self contained, housing all the electronics for the machine as well as the machine itself, only thing not on the cart is the dust collector. In my configuration, I obtain a slightly more than 4' x 4' cutting area with full pass-thru capability for anything longer than 4'.
This is a raw "stream of consciousness" so hopefully makes sense and camera movements aren't too queasy inducing. - Наука та технологія

Nice, I'm probably going to buy the QueenAnt V2 very soon. I have a few questions:
1-what closed loop motors are you mounting? 3.6Nm closed loop?
2-what max rapid feed can you reach? 6000 mm/min?
The steppers are the ones that come with the machine. I have my rapids @ 500"/min (12,700mm/min) , routinely cut @ 300"/min (7,620mm/min)

I got the draw on the spindle but YuYong doesn't list amp draw for entire machine can you give me this figure?
I've never measured it, but I'd say not particularly a lot :). Other than the spindle, it's just the electronics, pump and steppers, my guess would be peak of no more than 10amps. Most people run it off of a std. 15amp 120v outlet.

With a table size of 1500*1500 mm what size workpiece can be cut comfortably? What is the maximum working field size when cutting?

Do you have a build video of the controller box or circuit diagram. Did you modify an existing controller box and added the masso to it.
No wiring video or diagram, just wired on-the-fly each type of device (drivers, spindle, sensors, etc...). The enclosure is the Masso Touch, it includes the case, touchscreen, buttons and the Masso V3 Controller.
thanks for posting this, you have a really nice build there. ive had mine a while they are great machines. its nice to see someone else using the dovetail system. what sort of cut speeds are you getting and depth of pass? i am generally quite conservative cutting plywood at about 80ipm and 2mm stepdown with a 1/4" bit and 12000 rpm on the spindle. I suspect the machine can run a lot better im just a little worried to push it.
I push it, I use mostly Bits-n-Bits and Amana bits and use their recommended speeds and feeds. For roughing, I've using the IDC Woodcraft "Beast" roughing bit and run it at 300ipm to 400ipm full depth slotting in 3/4" Baltic Birch Plywood (need really good hold down though) and will pocket at 1/2" deep. I run 3/8" cutters in the 350 to 400 range as well based on mfg. recommendations. RPMs are usually around 18-20K. You're likely to get better results if you run at the mfg. suggestions, slowing down too much can lead to excessive rubbing and excessive chip re-cutting, which leads to excessive heat and bit life reduction.
@@MakersWerks thank you :) I'm definitely going to have to start and push the machine a little. trying to play it safe ive not been doing the machine any favours. I ran a pass this avo using an amana bit and their feed setting of 180ipm. it was a little scary at first just in case my settings were wrong, but it made short work of the plywood.. thank you once again.
Any chance of getting plains for your table , Im about to start build have not settled on a table yet not sure how big to make and will upgradw to MSSO LATER
No plans, I just have a CAD model I created. It's not a fun thing to build and given odd size, doesn't make efficient use of the materials and it weighs several hundred pounds so assembly gets tricky towards the end. Plus you need a large Table Saw to cut the parts and laser cut templates for routing all of the mating slots accurately.
