Rhode Island is the BB to pick if you like the open water cruiser playstyle (Henri, Castilla, even ships like Yoshino). And honestly, it's a lot more fun and more comfortable to play than any of them.

I've observed how these loot boxes usually go. First few people get the ship quite easy and within about 5 boxes.. It's good. Content creators do videos on how good it is. More people buy loot boxes to get the new good ship, but the boxes no longer drop the ship until they buy shed loads and spend lots of money.

shell switch, turret traverse, AR, concealment, extra heal, furious, and improved repair party or basics of survivability is the 'standard' BB build right now.

I'm surprised you would take 2 seconds off reload conditionally over fire prevention just making you much better against fire damage. But at least on this game play it seems like HE spam (esp from destroyers/light cruisers) was not really the concern compared to large salvos from BB.

Actually Potato, They changed Expert Loader (Yeah i think its called Gun Feeder now) a LONG time ago. You can now Swap shells while the guns are reloading, but their is a Minimum amount of time it takes to Swap Ammo. Although a Fully Loaded Turret will reload faster then Reloading Turrets by a couple seconds.
"The AP is bad" WELL it IS only 14 inch Guns or something like that, Their is only so much penetration those shells are gonna have. Still you get 12 of them.

In my opinion this ship is just a better Bourgogne. It trades slightly worse gun caliber and slightly worse armor for better conceal, agility, way more consistent guns with much better reload, and a radar, which is a much more consistent gimmick than MBRB. A Bourg wouldn't have dodged that shotgun but unlike Bourg, Rhode Island has a cruiser rudder shift and turning circle which can really save you a lot of the time. It's very strong, definitely hidden behind loot boxes for a reason.

You can run and turn into one only if your ship has great rudder times and circle along with speed boost to naturally juke out the homing like with french ships, my marsielle is particularly good at rushing them down considering it can go 40+ knots and run hydro as well

What this thing does to DDs with its HE....lol. Sort of feels like a Super-Alaska from a gameplay perspective. One aspect I havent seen mentioned by many is the AA....its pretty damn strong.

For me this ship is not very convincing. If you look at Mecklenburg, it has more guns, better accuracy, armor that works, secondary guns and torpedos. Also you don't have to gamble for it, steel is kind of expensive but you can get it in game for free.

Rhode Island has far better guns and Mecklenburg armour is pure crap due to massive superstructure and angles worse than GK. With the better heals, RI is easily tankier than Mecklenburg. I would say that Rhode Island is actually a better Mecklenburg than the other way around.
Cost is a different consideration entirely, just wait for Rhode Island to be free for coal.

Hello Potato, i am a newbie in this game. I have a question. My secondary battery have 9.1km of firing range but it doesn't fire when the distance between me and the emenies is 9.1km. Until the distance is 8.9km that secondary baterry start to fire. Why it is?
