My friend showed me that the snap on ones I have were great at pulling cotter pins. I have used them every time for that ever since. They are perfect for that. I almost never use them for wire for some reason
I check harbor freight every morning while having my morning coffee. I'm just waiting for their new tools to drop because I live in sunch a densely populated city, so things fly off the shell very quickly around here. I woke up yesterday morning and saw that these had been released. I had my morning coffee and headed on over there. It wasn't out on the floor yet, so it took them 15 minutes to find the damn things. They only had 4 in stock. They actually told me they got them a month ago! A freaking month ago, and they are just now going out on the floor!? Anyway, out of the 4 that they had, only 1 pair of them had their cutting edges aligned properly. 1 of them was so bad that it looked like it wouldn't even cut air. I'm not hating on harbor freight at all because I really like the icon pliers. In fact, I really like a lot of the icon tools. They have some real winners for sure, but 3 out of the 4 had visibly misaligned jaws. Hopefully, it's just a fluke and an isolated incident. The pair i got works phenomenally, though, and im very pleased l with them. I don't have a snap on pair to compare them to, but I do have some Tsunoda, Gedore, Knipex, NWS, and Proto. The icons snip and cut just as well and feel great in the hand. I'm obviously not too sure about durability, but my other icon pliers and hand tools have held up very, very well. They are 20% off for ITC members starting tomorrow until the 23rd.
@@victorhoyt4352 appreciate the story. Sorry to hear they are hard to grab in your area but at least your set looks good. Mine are perfect so no complaints. I’ll probably pick up another pair tomorrow for my go bag as they will be almost half off. 😉
Great uploads over the last few days! I got a pair of these a few weeks ago when they first hit my local store. They weren't even on the website yet. I've used them lost recently, so far so good. A complete rip off of the Snap-On but for the money it's really hard to beat. Nice review.
Thanks bud. Glad to see you get a jump on them. Yea $25 vs $100 is a no brainer since they are very similar. Stick around. Ill be uploading more as i have a LOT of products i need to review by year end so the next months should hopefully be a lot of fun for you all. :)
I've got the shorter pair of the diagonal cutting pliers and I've been waiting for the extended long ones to come out and I'm definitely going to buy them. Also I don't know if you know or not icon is supposed to be coming out with a mini bit set with a sockets they showed it at the show in Las Vegas but I haven't seen it yet🌎✌😃 and as always thanks for posting
@@ThingsMenjust picked up a pair tonight and I'm super happy with them and I just released a video on my channel. And they're everything you said they would be.🌎💯✔✌😁

The talon grip slip joint needle nose pliers were supposed to come out before these….. what the actual fuck. They said by January so let’s see how long they keep us waiting. I can buy the titan version if this same tool for $10

I can see that with the slim profile and jaw.

I wil be picking up a set, all of the ICON tools I have are great. Thanks, Man. Much appreciated
@@michaellindsay8934 of course. You won’t be disappointed. 👍🏻
I find that the icon pliers grips break in nicely and almost form to your hand in a way that
Great. Thanks for sharing
I bought these a couple weeks ago. I'm still trying to loosen them up. Great quality for $25
Oh tone of the lucky ones 😉

@@ThingsMen Yeah, definitely. It's only for icon wrenches, torque wrenches, and breaker bars. Oh, and the pliers wrench.
