    I'll be honest, this might be the best guide on National I've seen. Simply because it covers so many practical nuances that are glossed over.

  • @n-dawwg2570

    I learned a lot from this. So many people will just tell new players to use national without realizing new players don't have Xiangling cons and are going to have very lackluster damage. I also see a lot of people do fairly suboptimal rotations, and people sometimes recommend noblesse Bennett and emblem XQ which is suboptimal and less resin efficient.

    • @xxx_lolidestroyer69_xxxuwu58
      @xxx_lolidestroyer69_xxxuwu58 Рік тому +8

      I'd like to think "Noblesse Bennett and Emblem Xingqiu is more versatile" but then I realized Instructor Bennett & Noblesse Xingqiu also works in other teams. Like other vape teams (Diluc, Hu Tao), Taser teams, or Quickbloom teams (not Hyperbloom bcs ATK is kinda useless :P). Unless you're playing a non reaction team since Noblesse Bennett is preferred.
      I also learned from playing Raiden National with a non-C4 XL, the rotation can change whether you have C4 Xiangling or not

    • @Enjou777
      @Enjou777 Рік тому

      @@xxx_lolidestroyer69_xxxuwu58 Wait how does Xiangling's C4 changed Raiden National rotation? I never knew about this(or I'm just not playing rational not optimally)

    • @xxx_lolidestroyer69_xxxuwu58
      @xxx_lolidestroyer69_xxxuwu58 Рік тому +4

      @@Enjou777 aight get ready for the long ass reply
      So C4 XL increases Pyronado's duration by a whopping 4 seconds. In Rational there's a time where Raiden has to be on field for 7s and you can't swap out unlike in Sucrose National (this video) where anyone can be on field.
      This is the rotation of a Rational team with a C4 Xiangling:
      Raiden E -> Xq Q/NA -> Bennett E/Q -> Xiangling E/Q -> Xq 2E (*) -> Raiden Q/NA
      If Xiangling isn't C4 then Pyronado will disappear before Raiden's burst runs out so you might want to modify the rotation by changing (*) to either:
      1. Cast Xq E once before Bennett burst and then cast again after XL burst for the vape dmg. Pyronado will still disappear before Raiden's burst runs out
      2. Cast Xq E twice before Pyronado to maximise Xiangling's damage from Overvape at the cost of Xingqiu's E which can vape.
      But tbh either way it's just a matter of how skilled you are (by paying attention to enemies patterns so your rotation won't get interrupted) and how good your ping is. And also it's just a matter of fact of whose dmg you want to maximize between the 3 (Raiden, Xiangling, or Xingqiu).
      And at the end of the day all of these doesn't matter if your Xiangling is C4. It's as the original comment said: your team without her C4 will have lackluster damage.
      This doesn't affect Sucrose National, and it doesn't change International's rotation, it only affects Childe's on-field time & ER requirements AFAIK

    • @Enjou777
      @Enjou777 Рік тому

      @@xxx_lolidestroyer69_xxxuwu58 Ahh I see thanks for explaining. I only notice the C4 change in international but that's prob because I use the team more rather than rational due to not having that much choice back in 2.X to clear the abyss.

    Can say I learned something new.
    Xingqiu is pretty important for this team at ceiling level. Thought Childe was miles better turns out the difference isn't that massive.
    Correct Positioning with Xingqiu can allow his rainsword to drop down the ruin drake, can see why some Raiden national were used in the top abyss now.
    Xiangling can actually reach the 100k with enough investment and normal rotation. I thought this was always bullshit as some Xiangling could only reach 150k with R5 SoSS, Elegy Childe and C2 R1 Kazuha and NGA has 60K Vape as her maximize output in Childe inter and don't think standard national should be much higher.
    Pyranodo has even more shenanigans than I thought as if Xiao's collision plunge wasn't just weird as well, showing even more how undercooked Genshin CBT was (enemy hurtbox is also a huge issue), as someone currently interested in Wuthering Wave can only hope stuff like this are accurately tested by the devs with good feedback.
    C6 Bennett is a double edge sword for National apparently, always thought it was a straight up increase everywhere but Ayaka, Eula and Keqing turns out it seem to only be true if you mainly use Sucrose carry or a 5* that won't get overriden by Bennett infusion.
    The team is actually not casual friendly and DPS drops massively if a mistake is made which is expected from a full team reliant on ER, it just that the damage of the team (or more like Genshin playable characters do to much damage or the enemies are too weak) is so high that even playing Unga Bunga you can 36* with it.
    I'm confused on the artifact section being easy because I'm pretty sure every team is like that. Like the way you portrayed National can be applied for any team.
    An Ayaka freeze team takes about the exact same level of investment if not less considering you can get everything in strongbox. Noblesse, VV, BS.
    So this section left me with many interogation point. I guess if the comparison is new teams like Dendro I can see it for now but it will eventually go into Strongbox too.
    Should be about it for what you said.
    Can you tell me for 5* weapons which ones is an overall practical increase for the team (I know Sucrose has none) and how much different each one is to the other.

    • @jamiekb9v
      @jamiekb9v  Рік тому +7

      to clarify, c6 bennett is an increase for this team. it just makes it more complex to play. as for the artifacts question, yes a comparison is newer teams which have many sets not available from the strongbox. aquila favonia for bennett, and either engulfing or scarlet sands are upgrades for xiangling, although it's not a huge gap.

    It's a pretty powerful team for new players but it's not for casuals. It requires some skill to 36* the current abyss with this exact team. It's easier with Childe (International) and way easier with Raiden (Raiden National or Rational). I still like how this team set the basis for more powerful team comps since it's core is very versatile. The Bennett-XL duo + some hydro application makes a lot of characters shine (or can also carry some other characters that are not that great haha)

      @noctisarcanus7894 Рік тому +6

      @@daybreakxr I didn't mean easier in terms of gameplay, I meant easier in terms of higher DPS since that's what the abyss is about due to its time limits. That said, those teams are a little bit more complicated to use but that's it. Even with Sukokomon and its super tight rotation, this game is extremely easy to play and requires just like 10 minutes of practice to pull a perfect rotation at most. Calling a team "difficult for casuals" is this game is insulting compared to getting perfect combos on modern fighting games or getting a 360 headshot on a competitive fps.

    My national did not last very long, as soon as I was able to make use of it the Beasts were introduced. Batterying XL and Bennett both is not fun and Bennett and XQ both apply their own elements on themselves which makes it very iffy when beast or new hilichulrl have very strong elemental attacks. It’s an issue on triple Kenkis as well because of the ice field.
    The core problem lies exactly with how old this team is, because people playing for a very long time have constellations or almost perfect artifacts so they may brush most of these issues off. Yes if my XL also did 100k hits or I saw XQs big nuke I may not have noticed the huge Hp pools of the enemies and incoming damage (same for internatting and childe’s room clearing nukes), but because the team lacks protection is what ultimately kills it for me as a more or less newer player, and not investing in survivability instead or trying to find new ways around this with new characters or different teams already shows the cracks at the end of this current version of the game

    • @j0hnnyblade
      @j0hnnyblade Рік тому +4

      *sorry got distracted - Bennett is so helpful he apples pyro on everyone through his field. So you kind of want to heal the damage you just took form a big hit, but it forces you to go on the field and potentially make matters worse while every character on this team is quite squishy. Rain Swords DR and interruption resistance isn't enough currently.
      Sorry if this sounds like doomposting, but I wish I was only theorizing. Unfortunately I'm speaking from experience and dying over and over is just not fun while middle investment would not have enough damage to pray that one of the 50 attempts will end up in a good clear time
      But then you also need to battery for the next room ⚰
