Just a small correction: Don't switch to moontalon and nuke it down asap as it spawns, rather bring it onto the boss/cleave range and keep nuking the boss with dots/light cleave on moontalon. Once moontalon reaches 30-25% everyone swaps to it and nukes it down. This will really help in mythic where more dmg on the boss is crucial. Again just a minor correction, great video!
Sooooo, our fight was bugged? In Phase 3 not only the priestress spawned, but the captain did as well. She even summoned a second moontalon. We were slightly confused by this, but managed to kill them anyway resulting in our rouge getting a 100% Dps for his itemlvl because of the 3 targets available Here the warcraftlogs as proof: /reports/HC6AhZkYjaqQVdyc/#type=damage-done&fight=6&target=76
We killed the priestess in the third phase, her corpse was on the floor and lootable (most of us were dead), but the other two ghosts were still active, so the encounter didn't count as complete. We had to let the ghosts kill those who were still up to end the encounter, and when we did so, the loot disappeared and the boss respawned as though we hadn't defeated it. Locked out of loot though for the week. RIP.
Can confirm this happened to us too. On our first attempt in Heroic, the Captain stayed active when the Priestess engaged, so the Priestess ran loose and flattened people. On the second attempt (kill), it appeared to work as intended.
Question: Can't you just tank the boss to the side? After reforming, our guild has a little problem with this boss and I was thinking, "If the glaive always flies though the middle, wouldn't being at the edge of the room be the best? Glaives go through the center, the shot can be carried to the center, the debuffs van be carried to the other side of the room as can the glaive that targets a player.
Can someone please tell me what AddOn does he use for the interface to change it that way, or maybe customize it as much as you can. Thank you so much !
I don't think there is a single fight that I didn't like in Tomb. Ironically, one of the least interesting fights for me was actually KJ (and the first boss who doesn't do much, but is understandable being the first boss). I wish KJ's fight was more interesting, like Gul'Dan was where he powers up and uses more interesting abilities.
KJ is actually more interesting when you take a lot of his abilities into context. When you look at his abilities it is a lot of group members making single sacrifices to ensure the rest of the raid doesn't take even worse damage, or that the group as a whole shares the damage at times so a single person doesn't die. Now think of who KJ is and what he did basically sacrificing his entire home world in a rather selfish way. We act as an opposite to the legion and KJ and it's pretty cool how it reflects in how we are suppose to handle his mechanics.

Frost DKs everywhere, the debuffs can be removed because Mirror Ball is Mirror Ball and there's no point arguing with that logic.
