Citroen Basalt SUV Coupe Malayalam Review, Citroen Basalt 1.2 L Turbo Manual, Max Variant, RobMyShow

Citroen has lauched India's first SUV coupe - Basalt last month, August 2024. The Basalt has a coupe design with a slanding roof towards the rear. The Cirroen Basalt is designed similar to Citroen C3 Aircross with slight changes in both exterior and interior. The head lamps are LED projector headlamps unlike the halogen headlamps in C3 Aircross. The DRLS are V shaped and gives a significant road presence to the vechile. The new Citroen has auto folding mirrors and 3D shaped LED tail lamps. The boot space is 470 Liters - one of the highest in the segement. Coiming to the interiors, the seats are leatheratte and is a combination of white and black interiors. There are 4 speakers and 2 tweeters for better music. The infotainment system is of 10.25 inches with My Citroen app connectivity with 40+ features. Anderoid auto, apple car play can be connected wirelessley. The instrument panel is a 7 inch dispaly with have TPMS facility. The AC is automatic - auto climate control and has rear vent for the back row seats. The streeng is a flat bottom one with steering mounted controls.
The Citroen Basalt comes in two engine options - 1.2 liter Naturally aspirated petrol engine with 82 PS power and 115 Nm torque, its mated to a 5 speed Manual Transmission. The 1.2 Liter Pure Tech Turbo engine produces a power of 110 PS NS 190 Nm torque in 6 speed manual transmision & 205 Nm torque in AT Transmision (Torque convertor transmission)
The starting price for Basalt is from Rs. 7.99 Lks (Ex Showroom)
