Multilingual Education in South Africa

Dr. Diane Rodriguez, Professor at Fordham University Graduate School of Education, in partnership with Dr. Margaret Funke Omidire of the University of Pretoria, visits the Department of Educational Psychology at the University of Pretoria and Laerskool Pretoria-Oos in South Africa. In this video presentation, Dr. Rodriguez sits in two Sepedi Language Classes, one for elementary students and the other for college students. For many years, Dr. Rodriguez has been involved, in different capacities, in the area of bilingual special education. She promotes and advocates bilingualism to all students.
