ironically enough, I don't think Ian got the recognition he deserved as an actor before episodes 1-3.....I mean, it seems like he was never looked as a top notch actor.... in Sleepy Hollow he was considered a simple secondary character... and nothing more
Ian Mcdiarmid is truly an amazing actor and an overall wholesome kind man. I wish I could meet him, I’m sure we would all just love to sit down and listen to him tell stories. Long live The Senate
That was the best line. The thing I love about the Emperor, especially in VI, was his ability to affect believable emotions that were transparently false. His amusement when you know his furious, or here, his sensitive sympathy when you know he's sadistically gleeful... what a wonderful layer for a good villain.
Really iconic, ruined/gets even better when you notice the ammount of evil turns palpatine does. Once is perfect, twice is fine. 4 times is memeworthy.
Same! When I first heard that story, I could totally relate bc I hate having to do a scene over and over, especially when the director stops you every 5 seconds to give directions. I don't think so. He said that it was just a tease and that people shouldn't take it too serious. But unfortunately most people are out of their mind about it.
I think when he said they had used previous recordings for his voice, along with telling folks that it was indeed just a tease, indicates that he is not actually in the movie, or at least that he never shot any actual new scenes. This is not like Kit Harington having to lie about Jon Snow coming back to life. Ian McDiarmid almost certainly has not filmed anything new for this movie, it’s probably a gimmick and anything featuring his character will be from stock. Sorry!

Noah Batley it seems like he voiced Palps in the Jedi Fallen Order trailer and also he seems to enjoy voice acting so if they could get him in for future games that would be amazing
As realistic and awesome Thanos is, the emperor is still one of the biggest villains of all time even if he isn't that complex, he is just the embodiment of evil.
