Methods will only get you so far.
After I grind alot my heads where I draw intuitively look way better than the classic strict loomis or rilley head attempts.
Am I just coping or is this actually why I like grinding drawing from reference more than just trying to brute force learning certain methods.
Is this cope or is there a truth to it?
Of course a balance between method and intuition is whats probably the best.

The method is there to have a place to start from but that can only get you so far.
This stuff is pretty easy to memorize quickly, it’s the application that’s difficult. That just comes through hours of doing it, and that only happens when you’re enjoying it.
