I am also currently doing a cafe racer build on my 05 gs500, is there any tips you could give me on carbs and how you synced them with those air filters? Did you use a mono meter or have someone else do it?
I haven't touched the carbs yet. only started it once for like 30 seconds. You prob don't need a mono meter. With the air filters and exhaust im running, im expecting i may have to go up a size in the jets, but im waitng to get it running to see if i have to do all that. May also just need to adjust the carb as well.

Does the battery charge normally? Let's say the battery run out of juice, can you recharge with a trickle or do you need a special charger?
I’m sure you could but the issue is over charging these with a reg charger can mess it up. I bought the shorai battery tender which is compatible.

the battery sits about an inch under the top bar of frame and the pan itself is just flush with the lower bar of the frame
