Reminds me of another great Sky interview between Martin and Seb. 2020 after Binotto sacked Seb by phone ( due to covid ) and Seb was without a contract for 2021. When the 2020 season finally started they had a memoreable interview too.
@@mosaic94 I dont think it was aimed at any one in particular. Lewis is one of the most watched drivers fashion wise, but Seb is a good friend of his. I just think it's a generalized statement seeing how Seb was different that most derivers, as he was so low key and never had a presence on social media until very recently. His style wasn't the loud and flashy one, and I think that is what he was referencing.
One of the wisest driver to ever race in F1. He would have many positions to choose from should he decides to be part of F1 again; he can be race strategist, even team principal (is a stretch but his knowledge is something to behold), and many other ways he can make a significant contribution to F1. I don't see him coming back as a driver though.

Seb received the same stick during his dominance as Max receives now. Once his Red Bull dominance stopped the F1 media (mainly British) stopped putting him into a negative light. He then received his good guy persona. The same happened to Fernando and Michael.
Gotta love Seb. I miss him in F1 but thankfully he's still keeping it in the mix. He's not gone in F1 and I'm very thankful for that. I love hearing him speak. Aside from his voice, the manner in which he expresses his thoughts is amazing! His insights are incredible and you can hear the passion in his interviews. More incredibly so since english is not even his first language.

One of the most mature 36 year olds I've ever seen. I was a child at his age compared to him. Shaped by his experiences and his success, but not owned by them - he embodies humility and calm wisdom. So much so that his greatest victories may lie in his future, and not his past. He will be one to watch..
This guy is such a class act. I hope he makes a comeback. He's still young and I don't think his career ended in a way that is truly representative of his quality as a racer.
I think us, as Formula One fans, especially Seb fans… let’s let him enjoy retirement. And if he comes back, awesome, and if he doesn’t, he is still one of the greats

I don’t think there’s ever been a driver who has been so hated to then have everyone completely switch and love him as he got older and matured. I can’t think of another driver where it’s been like that.
Listening to Seb is a privilege and as much as enjoyable to listening to kimi. And the questions are as good as the answers , the interview becomes a masterpiece.

Martin, such a great interviewer in these types. Always love it. And seb, well, with age he really developed a voice - nice to see that back. It's why I miss him still in F1 in a way.
It's great to see how he has matured into such a wise person from his experiences. It's also cool that he can go enjoy a typical life w.o. attention, and be able to travel/camp to his hearts desire.

I would love to see him back, if it's only just for 1 year. Having his personality on the grid is just a gift in itself and then the race-craft is the cherry on top. He doesn't owe it to us though.
I've watched Seb from the very beginning of his F1 career. From a baby face kid to a first class champion adult. I miss him in those post race interviews.

This is such a relaxing and revealing interview. The camera angles, their position on the couch with Seb's relaxed posture. Vettle had matured while driving in F1 and that muturity and pressence has only evolved and refined since then. So refreshing, such a natural intelligence.
I love that he’s focussing on the important things in life, spending time with his wife and children, going on trips in nature. That’s the right age to do this. Even if he could come back within 10 years, these are precious family time moments he’ll never regret having. ❤
I truly believe that so many people around the world don't actually know that most of vehicle technology and advances is derived from top tier motor racing.
He must be a remarkably intelligent person before being a champion. I love him as a personality and I miss him in the F1 world. I’d love to have him commentating races. He could have the same deep poetical approach as Martin has
Wasn't always fan of Sebastian but grew to be a huge fan. I especially love how he thinks allot about his answers to questions. He is quite obviously an excellent racer/driver who is hugely loved. His sustainability direction is huge too.
E fuels should be a niche product for keeping classic cars going but definitely not used for regular day to day motoring. They may be carbon neutral but are certainly not particulates neutral.
I am pretty sure I speak for a lot of people when I say I used to hate this guy (in a sporting way) - He could do no right for me, I loved to see him loose, I hated everything about him. Well what a change and effect he has had on me in his later years in F1 and now in his retirement. What a guy, I feel like a d13c for even having those feelings all those years ago. This guy is the real deal, we need more people like him in every sport we have and I miss him dearly.
Seb was the driver I idolised when I was younger, watching those RB title wins was something to behold. Also it's funny to see the amount of love he gets worldwide nowadays compared to his championship years where I felt like the only Vettel fan on earth, some people just don't appreciate true champs in their prime. I'd like to see him drive in WEC for Ferrari or BMW, a Le Mans win with either of those Marques would be something special given his F1 history.
Seb seems so at peace and clear; focused on the right priorities with the benefit of experience and perspective on his side. I’m hopeful he finds a way to be part of F1 for a long time to come, whether that’s in a car or not.
I was never a fan of Seb when he was in the winning zone, but remember him on Top Gear and he came across so different personally, seen here also, incredibly grounded and humble
I still remember the days when Vettel was not very well liked by the British Media (largely not his fault...there was some stereotyping him as similar to Schumacher basically because he was German...plus he was rivaling Lewis at the time). Its good to see him get the chance to show his charm and knowledge now, whilst promoting his very worthy project. It would be nice to see him back...but only for the right project. I felt he was undervalued in his last few years...but perhaps also his spark had gone somewhat.
How incredible genuine and humble this man is in a world like ours .. A true legend on and off the track!

Seb is a class driver. He is the driver that made me love formula 1 back in the 2010s. I miss him dearly.

CO2 is good for the environment - plants eat it. CO2 is at 0.04% of atmosphere , at 0.1% food supply would double. This is total bullshit

If there is 1 sports person I would hang out with in a bar it would be Seb - he is such a genuine dude. Also props to Martin, such a great interviewer
I kept hearing he was the nicest person in F1, but I always assumed that meant, "Nice...for an F1 driver, that is." But he really IS good people.
