I think it used the cone to to determine how far to park you from the curb, because the cone was far from the curb it parked you that same distance. Second try it parked you around the same disance that car behind is parked from the curb.
Find a space between two cars. This time it obviously treated the cone as the kerb.
How do you initiate parallel park in FSD? Turn signal and brake? Do you have to be engaged in FSD?

Gimme a break! Unless your car had wheels that could turn perpendicular to the car no one would be able to park there. Wait for the next version of Tesla.

It is your fault and not the car. The space was impossible space to begin with. Before you went in, I knew it was a bad and tight space.
car shouldn't offer it as an option if it can't do it. obviously.
