I’m a Africa amarican and spent time in Ghana my fiancé is Ghanaian and so far I only hear bad stories online or from people that had never been. I’ve had a lovely time and Ghana and would like to start a life there. I don’t see America as my forever home. There so many place out there that’s a lot more stress free. Maybe I’ll have to experience myself but so I’ll say Ghana is a love place it’s not easy but I haven’t encountered any disrespect

I've travelled in and out of Ethiopia for over 10yrs. I know that Africa consists of 54 different countries, but there are things they do have in common for example, their justice systems are corrupted. If you invest in Africa you better keep this in mind. I know people who lack the education, but have been appointed as judges due to their political contacts in the goverment. Also, don't expect those africans to welcome you with open arms. They dislike each other based on tribal and nationality, so why would they see you as family?? They see black americans as a walking talking dollar sign, but not as one of them. Black americans see all black people as one family, but after you spend time in africa, that will change your mindset. You will be happy to be black american and will stop referring to yourself as african american! We are not AFRICANS and not all of our ancestors came through the african slave trade. Even if your ancestors came through the slave trade, those africans that sold them dont claim you!

The negativity about Ghana is on the incline I wonder why? Because it's not just the Ghanaians causing problems. The same people talking they indigenous to America and saying America is our home are the same ones crying about racism in America they spread negativity and division where ever they go, black unity will never be achieved we have too many agents of division in it.

The continent is not spiritually and psychologically prepared for the diaspora--the diaspora will have to wait till divine intervention has reached the continent
going to Africa will work for some, not all. but the fact remains that there is rampant ignorance on the continent about understanding the black struggle that the diaspora have had to deal with. the continent is not prepared to accept the diaspora

@@randyeduo That's another aspect of the equation "divine intervention". The ancient prophecies stated the diaspora scattered by slavery will return to Africa the land of their heritage. But you should also consider the colonial powers will not sit by and let the people return in peace. The colonial powers will always have an agenda in operation to counter the return of the diaspora. The American diaspora really need to move in silence get off social media, keep a low profile, move in wisdom, etc. Too many of them are way to loud and boisterous about their move to the continent.

Crime rate in Ghana is a factor of the mass migration of the Nigerians in Ghana. Any crime that happens in Ghana, if they are 5 persons, 2 would be Ghanaians and the 3 are Nigerian. From records there are about 20million Nigerians leaving in Ghana, not including those that come in illegal or come in on unauthorised route because they dont have passport to enter, and other neighbours too.
All these people are working speaking our language, u will not know of they dont tell you their nationality, so all the bad issues will all be attributed to Ghanaians because we own the land and everyone is expected to be a Ghanaian even when they are not. Am not saying we dont have the bad ones too.

Let say music, dance, food, bright colored clothing, chess, fishing hooks, mathematics, astronomy (The Dogon,) The Sirius B star, the brightest star in the constellation., Caesarean Section, Boats, Metallurgy, hand axe, bows and arrows, The oldest university in the world is found in Fez Morocco, Banjo instrument, xylophone, The Harp instrument. Drums of all kind, Obelisks, The Tallest buildings in the world for around 10,000 years The Pyramids, The Tally sticks, and Medicine, and whole lot more. Thanks to the Rastafarians, of Jamaica,🇯🇲 and the Great African-American Historian Dr. John Henric Clarke.

What happened? Where are the exact things in Africa, like jazz, blues, Africa's Benjamin Banneker, Edna Lewis, Garrett Morgan. In 1872, Elijah McCoy invented the first automatic lubricating oil device for train engines, 7 years after slavery ended. He was born in Ontario from parents that escaped the south via the underground railroad. What part of Africa did he copy from. Black Americans have over 50,000 patents as early as 1821, please list the sourses where I can find the same information for the time period starting in 1821, because according to you, Black Americans are simply copies of copies, no originality at all.

Whenever black Americans achieve any milestone we also rejoice with then, not to mention the pain the go through… long before I ever dream to come to this part of the world, n one more thing, the most reasons lots of Africans coming to these part of the world is bcos of our long lost African people., one or several African country experience alone isn’t enough to condemn the mother land., it’s unfortunate n I feel their pains.. to those who went through these harsh n shameful experiences in Ghana.. please do not be discouraged of your dreams n journey back to the motherland.. jus make your research before making any move. Nothing is made easy for African Americans with immigration obtaining land no legal protection put in place by the government especially when they sent out the invitations in 2019. Then have people ever corner that you turn begging for money and the unprofessionalism in business as well is horrible not to mention the scamming through out the continent is ridiculous! The same mentality is is alive and well between Africans and African Americans we don’t know how to uplift one another like other races. We’re always pulling each other down that’s why we as a people, society etc can’t get truly ahead in life! Why are we still at the bottom when we were the first people on earth we need to wake up & finally realize our true power!

Greetings Evans!! Great conversation. It has been very sad about these things that have happened. But it is so important we as a global community stop giving the US DOLLAR SO MUCH WEIGHT. This kind of envy is tragic because in the U.S. not one single dollar comes easy. And they didn’t choose to be in the U.S. many were unfortunately descendants of enslaved AFRIKANS. There have been a few AFRIKANS here from migration hundreds of years ago but NOT MANY. And a great deal of those who were here…that BEAST STEAM ROLLED THROUGH & scalped most along with the ones that became “Indians”. Up until a point it is vividly clear that the so called “Indians”, were south and East AFRIKANS. The culture was maintained over the centuries. So ok the. It is true that the sisters family was from the U.S. but from the U.S. through migration NOT BY ORIGIN.

The problem is we are strangers and pilgrims EVERYWHERE. We are Hebrews and we will be the center of attn, good or bad, where ever we go. People will love us or hate us only always, you must be prepared for that even among people who you once believed were your brothers. The difference in Ghana is that we land rich. If you can imagine how that would be for an African to land rich in your neighborhood in America you may feel as they do. Being upper class citizens in Ghana is new to us and that hatred for that reason is new also. Be smart, invest wisely and enjoy your upper-class experience because you will never experience that type of freedom both economically and socially in America.

The honest truth is that, Long before pan African or the year of return of African American to Ghana. We Ghanaian expat where being scammed or taking advantage of every time we landed in the Country. Strangers will try to scam you, your brother or sister will try to take advantage of you. Your extended family will try to take advantage of you because they think if you come from the WEST and you are rich or have a lot of money. Envy and JEALOUSY also play a part in the hearts of many Ghanaians. So is not surprising that African Americans are taking advantage of. Unfortunately Ghanaians locals dont do that to white people when they are in the country. It seems like Ghanaians will give the Whiteman or the Chinese a VIP treatment . As a Ghanaian when ever I land at the Airports, and the Customs fonds out am a Ghanaian, they try to get money from me before they let me through. Is not Just African Americans alone. We Expat Ghanaians are victims also. I lost $ $16000 in land scam in Ghana and I am a full blown Ghanaian. Ghanaian mind set and heart needs to change.

It's disheartening to see you paint Ghana in a negative light on this platform. If you want to promote tourism and your channel, why not highlight the positive aspects of your own country?
If you haven't been to Ghana, don't judge it based on a few isolated incidents. Ghana is a developing country and, like any other, it has its challenges. oh, I do have several non-Ghanaian friends who are thriving in Ghana. Ask yourself how they managed to do it.
Scams and duping happen everywhere. As a Ghanaian, I often encounter inflated prices at markets because of how I look. If you’re a foreigner planning to visit or relocate to Ghana, do thorough research. Trustworthy local contacts can be invaluable in helping you acclimate to the new environment.. Adaptation is key; Ghana is different from what you might be used to.
Putting others down to make yourself feel good is deplorable. I remember the first video about Ghana I watched on this channel; it covered an unfortunate incident, and while it was sad and shameful, it was important for awareness. However, over time, your content has increasingly focused on Ghana's problems, creating a negative bias.
If incidents happen, cover them, but don't generalize and disparage the entire country. And for those considering a move, do your research; other countries might align better with your reasons for relocating.
